      I WOULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN 1 STAR IF I COULD. THEY HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT.

      They denied my initial claim and not normal wear and tear put in a second (as I was trying to get another company) and they are taking over a week to send someone. The ** isnt working at its a heat wave in the high 110s this week. Worst company ever

      I would give them 0 rating if that was an option. I bought a five year plan and each time we filed a claim, they found a reason to deny the claim. Reasons such as old unit, not maintained or water damage or corrosion. What exactly do they cover? Absolutely nothing, we were left with no real answers from unprofessional employees and the professionals sent, 90 percent had no idea what they were doing. Overall horrible experience. I would not recommend this to anyone

      Choice Home Warranty is misleading and does not stand up to what they sell people. We purchased a home last year and it came with a 1 year home warranty thru Choice home warranty. We insisted on a warranty due to the age of furnace and ac unit. Furnace is 30 years old and ac is 23 years old and an r22 system. The system on the house is undersized due to prior owners adding onto house and not upgrading ac. Our evaporator coil has a hole that can not be repaired. We were told by the ***** home repair tech that Choice sent out that they approved replacement of entire ac system and a 4 ton unit. Today I find out that they did approve replacement of the evaporator coil only and are wanting to install a R410a coil. And they want me to pay $871 for the repair when in states in their book they sent us they cover up to $5000 in repairs with the basic package and also states they pay up to $5000 for upgrades with the ultimate package which is what we have that also states we are covered for upgrades on capacity and efficiency.

      My AC is broken & i have been waiting over 4 days for their business affiliate Solution HVAC South to show up, call or text. I have called several times just to be in queue for a call back, Im sweating profusely & all Choice Home Warranty does is apologize with no customer resolution, if they did their job or held their business affiliates accountable we wouldnt be in this situation, Im hiring an outside AC contractor & sending Choice HW the bill. Ive been loyal customer for over 20 years & deserve better! ********************

      My last two claims were denied because they determined that the items needing repair were not considered normal wear and tear. This is their way to routinely deny claims without a detailed explanation. If you have an item that fails after daily use over a period of time, they will deny the claim and leave you hanging after paying the service fee which is non refundable.

      Over ****** complaints lodged against this business! That SCREAMS SCAM!As a first-time homebuyer, I was stupid. Learn from my mistake! I did not research the business before purchasing. If I had, I would NEVER have gone with a company that has these many complaints. Recent ones too!They promise good coverage and customer service! When trying to call, for service, you cannot get in touch with anyone. Supervisors (I use that term loosely) give false information or extensions that have no voicemail set up. The salespeople misrepresent what is actually covered, making you think you are going to be well taken care of. The only thing they did quickly and efficiently was take my money. Should you need something that is expensive (the reason we all want this kind coverage, to cover expensive items, for peace of mind), you will not get the coverage that was presented. If you purchase a policy with this company, you are wasting your time, money and sanity. It took weeks for them to "try and find a technician for my septic" they never did. I had to call someone. All the while septic is overflowing in my yard, weeks it took. The frustration of trying to call and being ignored was horrible! Based on the service and quality of conversations or lack of conversations with a "supervisor" "Elle", I will not be a customer of this company again. The ******************** has several warranty companies with better ratings and fewer than ******+ complaints. Look elsewhere...

      The company has stolen our money for the last two months. We paid in May, for a policy that didn't kick in until June. We put in a claim on June 11th for our A/C unit to be serviced. We had an appointment scheduled for 6/20 and the technician never showed with a heat wave advisory in our area (with two small children) they couldn't reschedule us until 6/26. The technician came out on 6/26 and basically told us the issue we had was a regular common repair but they would not be covering. They would not even allow the technician to put in coolant/refrigerant for the sake of keeping cool. We called to cancel and requested a refund as we were no longer looking to use their services for the month of July ( which we were told had to be paid in advance).They took a payment out in June to cover the cost of July - August then the representative said that there would be no refund and proceeded to tell lie about the terms of the contract saying there was not refund for month to month and that it wasn't an advance payment and then the excuse was that the payment covered June to July 8th

      DO NOT PURCHASE: Snake *** salesmen claim their warranties cover all appliances, ask you the year etc, filed a couple claims in the last few years on 3-5 year old AC unit compressors/C***s. Claims DENIED, fine print they don't disclose during sale is that they DON'T cover items that have an equipment manufacturer's existing warranty. So, an AC unit with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty is not covered for any labor by Choice. The warranty does you NO good.Very deceptive practices, they deserve 0 stars

      This company is a complete scam. Do not trust them to actually help you replace or repair household appliances. They will ding out any reason to tell you its a pre-existing problem. If I could give it 0 stars I would!
