      Put a claim through in May 1 2025. Outside AC unit stopped working. To this day 6/24/25 have yet to receive ANYONE to come and service the unit. They had had FOUR vendors scheduled. I got ahold of one who said they never received the claim to even come out. Lost time from work not to mention my familys health during a heat wave. Their customer service **** just laugh and ask what do I want them to do. They try to back peddle when you call to cancel your entire policy. Do not under any circumstances get this company. They are an absolute joke. They also force you to do the reimbursement option that they never pay you back for. It takes months of heckling them to send you a partial check (if youre lucky) for anything.

      If there was a zero star option... it would be a -1. I have been waiting 6 months for my refrigerator to be fixed. So far 2 technicians with the same diagnosis. both kept canceling on the day of service and to this day we have no freezer. told to call, they state go to the website. then do a chat which resolved absolutely nothing I pay about ninety bucks a month for this coverage and they surely have been taking it while I have no fridge. Claim number is 2.8.2.2.5.0.9.4.6. We keep getting the call service... in the ***********, with no resolving. Hey CHW, since you cannot get my fridge fixed.. I think waiting nearly six months to get the run around warrants having the fridge replaced. No more waiting... If you make us wait... then we shouldn't have to pay the monthly payment until fixed. If not addressed ASAP... I have no choice but to seek legal advice for services not being given but paid for.

      Hello, I put a claim in from my pool heater panel board, which was approved. However, they never sent me the payout for the claim stating I did the work which I did not. The appeals group was extremely rude and non-helpful. This is completely unacceptable for a company to do.

      Of all the home warranty companies I have used Choice Homes by far is the most dishonest and unreliable I have ever felt with. Spent most of the year with them trying to get AC fixed and the pool. No one would show, and Choice just told me to pay for it. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT do business with this company. They are AWFUL and dishonest!

      I've been working with this company for several weeks trying to get my A/C repaired. After a week of waiting no technician had been assigned. Their response was they work on claims based on priority. I repeatedly warned them about an impending extreme heat wave coming to our area (central **). I opted for the reimbursement route since I could have a technician here next day. The next day a technician arrives, quickly determines there's a leak but no work could be done without authorization from Choice Home Warranty first. I report back to Choice and am told that I need a leak test conducted, photos proving leak, and cost estimate of repair. This was Friday. The following Monday, technician arrives, does leak test, locates/documents problem, and provides me an estimate, which I then forward to Choice. 15mins later, Choice responds they now want a detailed expense breakout for a new inside & outside unit, labor to install each, and labor to modify each. Again I schedule another appointment for a technician to come out and provide me a breakdown as requested. But now I have to wait until the end of the week. On Friday, a technician arrives, reviews the situation, and provides the breakdown as requested by Choice. I send that to Choice and hear nothing more. Meanwhile Extreme Heat Warnings are being posted for my area with multiple days of high temperatures expected near the mid to high 90s, with real feels near/exceeding 110 due to humidity levels. Today (25-Jun) I call Choice and now am told they need a breakdown on the cost of a new indoor unit, labor cost to install, and labor cost to modify. Going on three weeks and almost $1000 out of pocket, and I have yet to get an authorization to have any work done. Yet they can't give me a detailed list of all the information needed for all the scenarios they're envisioning. Whenever I provide the information of their last request, they come up with something new to request.

      This is without a doubt, the worst home warranty company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with!Their customer service team is an absolute joke. Whenever you want to speak to someone, you have to leave a number and wait for them to get around to calling you back. They have never answered the phone and from the sound of their messaging system, their only option is to leave your number and wait for them to finally getting around to calling you.When somebody does call you back, they have no idea whats going on with your claim and theyll promise to find out and call you back and that never happens.Needless to say, Ill never buy a choice home warranty again!

      They denied my initial claim and not normal wear and tear put in a second (as I was trying to get another company) and they are taking over a week to send someone. The ** isnt working at its a heat wave in the high 90s this week. Worst company ever

      Most horrible home warranty company. Kept charging me for months after my policy had already expired and didn't even give me a refund as the money was taken without consent for a policy renewal. ************* had already told me that if you don't renew, the policy will get cancelled after expiration but actually they kept auto charging fees monthly even after expiration as an "auto renewal". Such ridiculous money hungry company.

      We bought this home warranty five years ago and had have had nothing but issues. The reason we bought it was for when big ticket break in our house. We were on the phone with them for an hour before we purchased. It asked all the questions and thought we werenot being lied to they will not cover a thing. Theyre the most terrible company weve ever worked with. They raised the fee that you pay when they come in the door, even though I hada contract that started with 60 it went up to 65. Our air conditioning broke and they wont cover it because they said they dont coverit when something leaks well thats not what they told us when we asked and they have tape recorded phone calls and wont pull them up. Do not buy this home warranty. They are terrible to work with they take days to get back to you, they have terrible customer serviceand the people that come out here arent always that great.

      DO NOT waste your money, read what is excluded on warranty and expect things to not get fix or worst tech will break your asset. They send third party to work on your request/issue and if the tech s**** up or break it further CHW will not cover and will send you to the third party to fix or correct the issue. NO NO NO. I do not recommend CHW to anyone and there is a reason they are not on BBB
