      Wish I could put a zero. They scam you and lie about the required repair and say you damaged your appliance and will NOT cover the repairs. My 29 year old ****** ** did not work and after waiting days for them to show up they stated the tech said I damaged the compressor. I have to replace the unit and the 3 companies that came out for price quotes stated the compressor is not damaged, just old. Choice did not want to pay to replace after being with them for 5 years and $2,000 later. Also, my toilet was leaking and the tech they sent out, days later, stated it was the turn off k*** needed to be replaced. He never came back for repair and I complained and they sent someone else. That tech reported to them that my 16 year old toilet was installed improperly. So, I had to get my own plumber and he laughed because there was nothing wrong with the toilet It was the water turn off k*** had to be replaced like their first tech stated. I called and told them what my plumber stated and they said they have to go by what their tech said. So two denials when it was normal wear and tear. Who are they sending out that are not qualified to know what is wrong with the appliances. Try calling them, they apologize and wish they could help you and when you try to cancel they beg you to stay and offer added coverage for free. NO WAY. They are a waste of money. Especially when you have to still hire plumbers and HVAC companies to repair what you paid Choice to repair. They scam you with all the promises of what they will do to maintain your appliances. When something breaks down they make up lies so they do not have to repair or replace. I want you to know I only used them a few times in 5 years and 3 of those times for the *** The repair people they send out, waiting days for them to come, are not reputable. They all come from ******** and no local repairmen. Do not waste your money with this company, run before even considering using them.

      Do not use this company, they do not provide the services that describe. They will not return your call or money. I placed a claim for a broker air conditioner and 5 days later I still havent received a decision from them. I live in ******* and the temperatures have reached 118 so I think there actions are criminal. Dont waste your money.

      I had a Choice Warranty for five years, but after they denied my claim, I canceled my membership. I've been experiencing water heater issues for over a year. They sent two technicians who claimed to have fixed the issue, but the tank started leaking again recently. Now, they claim the tank needs to be replaced, but they're denying it due to the tank's size. The warranty has expired, and I'm stuck with the bill. I feel ripped off. I've filed an appeal, but I haven't received a callback.

      Choice Home Warranty is the absolute worst warranty company to use. I had a claim for an AC unit to be repaired. I filed my claim on 6/26/25 and a week later was notified they couldn't find a technician to service my unit. I found 2 technicians within the same day. After they eventually found someone the technician was filing the paperwork for a replacement. Choice Warranty denied the claim. Their decision was fraudulent stating my AC unit wasn't maintained. I offered proof of prior maintenance but the appeal representative said it didn't matter and refused to assist me any further. The managers are worse than the representatives. I had one manager hang up and never call back. Another manager put me on hold hoping I would hang up and upon her return she claimed she didn't know what happened to the phone. This company is a joke, Do not waste your money!!!!

      This company ***** their customer service is horrible. No direct to call you can only leave your number for a call back, they send the worst companies to your house to fix the issue and more than likely you will have to have them Come back out as it will not be fixed. ******** company please dont waste your time.

      I am writing this for my husband ***** ********, he takes way to long to type and he has been so upset when dealing with them. They do not honor their commitments. We havent had them long but in the few months they are not dependable and dont follow through. We have paid 2 people one GE for a person to come out didnt do anything and we had to go buy a new washer. Plumber that came was unacceptable and they promised to get a plumber here the same one we had which isnt happening he gave an unacceptable answer which was wrong and my husband wanted a different plumber they have said for awhile we cant find one. So we have paid premiums to them monthly and ****** total for someone to come out here with nothing getting done. Plus we just finally bought a washer. We just saw not credited by BBB. We are canceling them.

      DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. On a $911.72 bill for a water heater they covered $200. minus their service fee of $100. Final balance they paid us was $100. They also did not know when they would have someone available to fix it. We were told the technicians were very busy and they had no idea when it could get fixed. We would have been better off getting our own plumber immediately and getting it fixed without the inconvenience. It would only have cost us an additional $100. which is all that choice reimbursed.

      If there were a negative option for reviewing this company I would choose it. Since 2019, *** used this service once and the outcome lead to me solving my problem; not the service company Choice Home Warranty sent. In April of this year my AC started having issues. I made a service request; the company Choice sent (***** ************** cancelled twice. My calls continued through June and after not receiving any resolve for my issue, Im been transferred to different departments to cancel my service from Choice Home Warranty. This company is not professional, they send unaccredited company and their communication is horrible.

      I paid Choice Home Warranty $2400 for a 5 year contract covering everything in my home, all my appliances, HVAC system, plumbing etc. In the past 3.5 years, Choice has not been able to find a local repairman to fix anything in my home and as a result, Ive had to purchase (out of pocket) a washer and dryer, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Ive spoken to repair persons who used to work for Choice but hadnt been paid so no longer do. My complaints to Choice have gone unanswered.

      This company is not just disappointing; it's a predatory scheme built on misrepresentation of facts and outright lies. They are utterly unable to fulfill their contractual obligations, and anyone considering their services should be warned: Don't walk away run!From the moment you sign up, it becomes clear this is a company designed to take your money without providing any real service. Their customer service is, without exaggeration, the poorest I have ever encountered. You'll find yourself stuck in an endless loop, hiding behind a "pager" system that ensures you never connect with a real, empowered representative who can actually help. It's a deliberate barrier designed to frustrate you into giving up.When you finally manage to get a claim initiated, prepare for the inevitable: claim denial for made-up reasons. They will invent excuses, twist policy language, and find any conceivable loophole to avoid paying out. My experience, and that of countless others, confirms that their primary business model is to collect premiums and then deny legitimate claims. And if you think their "reconsideration effort" is a genuine attempt to resolve your issue, think again it's a fake, performative exercise designed to string you along further, only to arrive at the same unjust *********'s no wonder this company is perpetually in the middle of lawsuits. They should, and probably will, be taken down with millions in compensation to pay. It would be well-deserved. Their practices are unethical, their service is nonexistent, and their entire operation feels like a calculated effort to defraud homeowners. Save yourself the immense frustration, financial loss, and stress. Avoid Choice Home Warranty at all costs. There are countless horror stories, and mine is just one more testament to their abysmal failure to deliver on their promises.
