We're a subscription service which means that we promise to send you groceries each week unless you skip an order before your shopping window closes for it. The last button you have to push to create your account and start shopping is right below where you enter your credit card info makes it clear you are purchasing a subscription service that will automatically populate and send you a box of groceries each week.
I'm really glad that you were able to reach out to our customer care team when this happened and they were able to cancel your account for you so we won't be sending you or charging you for groceries anymore. They also sent you a link to our ************** that will help you delete your personal info from our database.

If I could give no stars that would be my option. I was trying to look into what sort of items and prices they offered, but couldnt get that info without signing up for an account. After reviewing the foods offered, I find their pricing and shipping to be way too high so I wanted to remove my account. Canceling my subscription was ridiculously difficult and even though I cancelled my account they would not allow me to remove my payment information. This is just bad business and I regret even looking at their website. I want my account completely removed from their site and my payment information removed!!! I reached out to their customer service but have not heard back from them as of yet.Misfits Market

Right now, because our inventory changes literally daily, even our regular customers can't view our inventory until their shopping windows are open. We're working to make our inventory visible sooner but we're not there yet.

I created an account with you and put in credit card information for the sole purpose of looking at the products that you had available I did not authorize you to charge my card or ship me food I looked at what products were going to be sent to me and I did not like them had I known that I had to delete this account cancel my subscription with you in order to avoid this from happening I would have done so. My order # is ******** I see this is something that is an ongoing issue with a number of your clients. I certainly hope this can be rectified before I have to involve a lawyer.Misfits Market

I tried ordering from Misfits a coiple years ago, but cancelled my account because orders always came with one problem or another. Gave them a second chance, and was disappointed more than ever before. Meats packed in the "cold pack" arrived warm, one package of meat looked like it had be cut open prior to shipping and leaked over everything. On top of that, much of the produce was moldy. I thought, at least the scones must be alright. I bit into one and discovered it was full of mold also. I understand the point of Misfits is that they sell "less desirable" items that are misshapen, too small, etc. But they sent me a box of food that ended up being entirely unsafe to eat. Oh, but I was refunded $8 for the package of meat that was split open...Misfits Market

I am glad that you were able to obtain a refund of the charge for the meat that was open through our automated refund system. We never want you to pay for anything you can't enjoy.

Dececptive business practices! They have scammed hundreds if not thousands of people. Their website is very confusing. The moment you create an account you will be charged for a subscription. You can try to cancel this but they have no phone number for customer service. They have a customer service form on their website and an email address that they won't respond to. Your best bet is to dispute the charges with your bank and lodge a complaint here. I ask the BBB to assit with a class action case against this evil company.Misfits Market

This is a horrible company! No chat no number. How can you have a business and not have any form of contact for your customers. When I first signed up I did not want them to choose groceries for me and I did not want to have a delivery each week. It stated clearly you only pay for what you pick. Its been a tough week with bills and this company decided to go grocery shopping for me at 3:45am and put my account into negative for items I did not choose and am allergic to!!! I cant find a number for the life of me and I had to send 2 emails with no email confirmation. I tried canceling my subscription and I get no where. Theres only an option to pause. Im so very angry right now and I dont like feeling helpless. I just want the order placed canceled, my money to be returned and my information erased from this company!!! NOW!Misfits Market

My first order came with all the frozen food thawed out. My second order came outside the delivery window and I had to rush home to get the box inside from the heat. The second box on my second order was also canceled due to damage. **************** is extremely poor, no phone number to call. 5 hours later and still no email, absolutely stay away from this companyMisfits Market

I am glad that you were able to reach out to our customer care team and they were able to refund the charge for the entire order to your card. They were also able to cancel your account for you. I'm sorry to see you go!You mentioned your first order was "problematic" in the same email but didn't provide any details. I now understand that some of your items didn't arrive frozen. Our pack system is designed to get your refrigerated and frozen items to you still cold. As long as they are cold they are safe to use or to refreeze. If there were any items in your first order that didn't arrive cold or that weren't able to be enjoyed please reach back out to our customer care team to let then know which ones and we will take care of you. I have never used your service and I was still charged for something I have NEVER GOTTEN. there is no phone number to contact them and I want a refund because I have never received any product from this company but they still took $112.32 of my money which I couldn't spare. This company needs to be shut down. There terms and conditions are vague and you can't reach any one when you really need them. This company is taking advantage of people and it needs to be stopped. I never subscribed to this site! I was browsing their inventory 2 weeks ago. I wake up today with them trying to hit my bank card for $73.40. Thank goodness my card is locked. They have tried hitting it 3 more times today. I tried to contact them thru their website form....no response. Both phone numbers I have found were not working. SCAM!!!Misfits Market

My mom is 87 years old and somehow accidentally got signed up for Misfits. My sister-in-law spent hours getting the service cancelled. Now, a year later, produce arrived at my mom's house. She never ordered it. She doesn't cook and lives in an assisted living community and can't cook. She tries to call to cancel but the line is always busy. I am so disgusted at this company for preying on people. Avoid this company like the plague. They may seem like a good company, but they are scummy by making it easy to sign up but nearly impossible to cancel.Misfits Market
