      Try to avoid having your mortgage with this company AT ALL COST!!!! They allow their photographers to completely invade your privacy. I was almost in foreclosure, and I applied for their loan modification programs. I understood that they were going to send a photographer out to make sure the house was being occupied. When he showed up, he took pics of the outside of the house, he took a pic of my front porch (where my brother was standing) and he ran up to my front door, put his camera up to my screen, and took pics of the inside of my living room, where my children were in their pj's, and then quickly ran back to his car and sped off! When I called to put in a formal complaint, they backed the photographer and said they had every right to do so. I was furious! I had 2 choices....Sue them and spend months tied up in court, or sell the house and be completely done with them for good. I chose to sell. This company is evil and the worst place to your mortgage with.

      On December 15, 2023, I received a letter stating that late charges were paid and they were not supposed to be. It says that Im due a refund, and will be arriving in a separate mailing As of today, march 2, I have not received any refund. Ive called several phone numbers and because this is an old mortgage, it states that they couldnt find my loan number or no or under my Social Security number I need for somebody to contact me. If this isnt resolved, I will be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau in ********** For some reason I cant put the loan number on this, but it is under ******************************* and *****************************

      Worst company to be saddled with in taking a home loan in my limited experience. I signed up for the loan with my ************ who I now hate by association, and when I urgently need documents from my payments, they locked me out. I blame the credit union too because when I contacted them and their tech support team, they claimed to be powerless and sent me back to CENLAR when they could have put on some pressure as the corporate customer. So, whatever amount of ********************** interest and fees I will pay in my lifetime, and for anyone else out there that will listen to me: CENLAR gets $0.00 0 stars of 5. Absolute 0.

      ********* should stop dealing with this loan servicing center because they are absolutely the worse. There is no communication between their departments and they will treat you with absolutely rudeness.. I tried to recast my mortgage, and even though i was on top of paper work I ended up being delinquent due to their lack of knowledge.I have removed most of my accounts with **** and I hope no one else has to deal with CENLAR.. People should be careful with this center. You will never get a call back and you will never get the right paperwork. I mentioned to them why are they getting awful reviews an I was told because they are so good. This business should shut down .They get a big 0 for everything.

      This company does not take ownership and tosses you from one representative to another and bounce you back and fourth. They do not have any concern for the borrower just trying to find out information. Most of or all representative can not complete a request or have information available. They have said multiple occasions they can not find out loan but are more then happy to charge you for an account that is not located. They make every submission to be in written form and not complete anything over the phone or on online. The worst experience with Cenlar.

      I am executor of the estate of my sister who recently passed away. She was a Cenlar borrower of a HELOC loan. I experienced several instances of frustration with this company. They have the worst customer service ever. On several occasions, I submitted documents to support my appointment as executor of the estate. All the documents submitted were lost by Cenlar personnel. It took me no fewer than 10 phone calls and hours on hold, being bounced to various people, before someone was able to help me. I was required to re-submit the documents several times before Cenlar confirmed my appointment. I am now in the process of selling the property and needed a payoff amount for the closing. Cenlar's incompetence continued. Two days before the closing, I was informed that the pay off amount submitted to my attorney was incorrect and for the wrong property. Once again, it took me several hours of follow up calls to get to the right person to correct the issue. I am a former federal bank examiner and I understand that this firm is under a consent order by bank regulators to improve deficiencies in customer service and controls. It's quite troubling that despite the regulatory issues, multitude of bad reviews at BBB and elsewhere on the internet, that this firm is still in business. I urge BBB to continue to investigate these issues and compel bank regulators to shut the firm down. Also, Citibank should remove Cenlar, immediately, as their loan servicer before other customers are damaged.

      **************** is rude and impatient as if they're doing the borrower a favor servicing their loan! Keep a record and a paper trail of everything while dealing with this company. Some of their business practices are shady and amount to harassment.

      We had a loan with Cenlar (which was not our choice because our loan was sold to them from our mortgage lender) and then subsequently paid off the loan. Since then weve been getting loan statements for $125 a month! We were also told we needed to pay an additional fee for closing account (which we had already done with our closing). This company is stealing money from people and is not operating above board. We plan to *** this company and will gladly accept any interest from anyone else willing to do so. This is not right what they are doing!

      Cenlar has the worse customer service i have ever dealt with . I have a HELCO account with them and needed to write out checks . I had requested a checkbooks to be sent to me last two weeks so after receiving it . I wrote a check out and it got bounced. So i called in to ask why and the lady told me she would note the account and asked my bank to redeposited which she did and it still got bounced again .Therefore i called Cenlar and the lady told me the checkbook i have is blue color which its no longer valid and they had sent out a letter in November stating that . I was like why the h*** i just received this checkbook last week if its not valid . Worse worse customer service ever . I dont know how they are still in business

      Worst customer service EVER. Had a HELOC with them. Paid it off. Thought it was all taken care of. No. They have a convoluted process for closing without informing you, then continue to bill you administrative fees for keeping the account "open." When I realized what was going on, it took me no fewer than 6 phone calls, being bounced to various people before someone told me that I needed to pay an additional fee to record that the loan was paid to remove the lien from my property. I had already signed a closing form once and paid the quoted pay-off amount. They claimed not to have my signed form. I asked them to email it to me, "oh, I'm not in a unit that can do that but I'll ask someone to." Guess what? No form came. I tried to find the form on the website, but couldn't access the website because my account was in fact technically closed. It's an outrage that despite the multitude of bad reviews at BBB and elsewhere on the internet, no agency has taken any action against CENLAR. What would it take?
