  I was not satisfy with the matress the kids full matress is super small and does not fit in a full size bed frame. They allowed me to return the box I did not open and they did not give my money back they are stating I sent it to the wrong adress when they provided me with the label themselves. Never buying from them please don't buy from this company is horrible.

  Lumpy from the start and just got worse and worse. I spent so much money and couldnt sleep on it after 6 months. Did everything with rotating and purchasing their alternative to a box spring. So much money, so not worth it!!!??

  Purchased a queen ********************** 4 years ago with a supposed 25 year warranty. Contacted the company because you can literally see the imprint of mine and my husband's body on the top of it. We are not obese people. Sent pictures that were requested by the Avocado company with precise measurements of how deeply it has sunk. Each time I emailed they pretended to be so helpful but kept coming up with excuses for why they will not honor their warranty. The final verdict was we put the ********************** on a box spring. A very good box spring with slats. They said it voided the warranty. Nowhere on any paperwork (there was very little) were we instructed or informed not to use a box spring as a platform for the **********************. My husband researched the ********************** quite a bit before we purchased it for environmental and health reasons. Obviously he didn't research enough! The Avocado Green Mattress is a farce. A terrible company that will NOT back their product.

  I spent a significant amount of time with more than one sales representative to order the perfect mattress for both my daughter and I. Avocado knew the specifications of our previous beds, the circumstances for needing new ones, and our desired goals for each mattress. Both were higher costs mattresses and neither met the specifications discussed, they both primarily lacked firmness and they were hot to sleep on. My daughter weighs about 102 lbs and she felt the mattress lacked support, as did I at 140 lbs. Despite indicating a strong need for a firm and cool mattress we were pointed towards what turned out to be moderately firm at best. They attempted to resolve the issue with free pillows and latex toppers. Nothing changed the fact that the mattresses were too soft. Within 3 months time I attempted to return both mattresses under their 1 year warranty. They refused due to policy of only one return per household. Which of course was not outlined prior purchase! Ironically one mattress was going to be used in a different household which I shared at time of purchase, although both were delivered to one locations. After months of arguing, sending in a variety of justifications, and finding returned mattresses for sale on marketplace for cheap I finally received a full refund. At least I think I did, I better double check. Both mattresses were donated to people in need that reside in my community through a non profit organization that I selected. At least that is a win for two households that were in need. Plus no one gained financially from this mess, not Avocado or some individual willing to take the beds off my hands to resell. I however lost hours of my time, to include sleep over this situation and it impacted the quality of my life each time I had to interact with the Avocado team. There is nothing organic, healthy or sustainable about poor business practices and poor quality products! The solution, buy locally.

  When I ordered a bed frame they said it would ship within 1-2 weeks. After 3 weeks of waiting, I emailed them to ask when it would arrive, and they said it wouldn't ship for 4 weeks.

  I hope people check these reviews before purchasing. A horrible mattress. At two years, just two months after the warranty expired my lower back started to hurt. I wake up in the middle of the night with pain and start my morning with tylenol. The mattress, despite rotating it once a month, is losing its shape and is so uncomfortable it's beyond explanation. The company does not want to do anything about it.

  This is a new company, which means it has not stood the test of time. As is evidenced by their despicable reviews, Avocado is a sham, capitalizing on the innocent name of a popular fruit. I bought a mattress for myself and my one year old, which I placed on a West Elm frame, six inches off the floor and the bottom of the mattress molded across every inch. I have never seen a mattress covered in bright green mold before --absolutely nothing else in our home had any mold on it. We contacted Avocado and they said they do not warranty against mold and would offer no refund. Completely misrepresenting their products through false advertising, the website refers to these utter pieces of rubbish as naturally resistant to mold: that is a provable lie. I am getting mold tests done on my two year old son as he inhaled the toxins from this poisonous mattress.

  Absolutely garbage, don't be fooled by the healthy name, the mattress should be named, PURE TRASH. Cause that's what you're getting. Folks, this is an honest opinion. Don't waste you're hard earned money..... use your dam local mattress store......ur better off..... sin, America 1st.....

  Horrible. I bought a pillow from them as a precursor to buying a mattress. The pillow I recieved was filled with black, hard, foreign material, leaves, and hard fiberous pieces, from improperly processed materials---Not the pure latex and kapoc, like Avocado claims and depicts on their website. Not only was a lot of this foreign material zipped inside of the pillow, but there was a lot of it mixed into the extra filling, which can be seen though the clear plastic bag. I thought this would be a simple fix and a quick customer service call, which I placed within 24 hours of my package arriving. Instead, customer service sent me on a wild goose chase, and wasted nearly two hours of my life, after five different customer sevice reps, online and in-store customer service calls, sending multiple sets of pictures, and emails. It was a no brainer for them to just send me a replacement and take this one back. Instead, after doing all of the above and waiting patiently for a resolution for a few days, Avocado expects me to take my own time to return the product, and wait for however many days to recieve a refund. I'm willing to bet they will try to automatically charge me for return shipping. Surprised that Avocado is not able to provide a replacement of a pillow I paid for, especially after I wasted two hours of my time on the phone dealing with this, taking pictures etc., and will now have to waste more of my time returning the pillow. None of the photos on their website, of this pillow nor of the internal filling materials,depict hard black seeds, or other foreign materials, which all came in mine. If the materials that fill their pillows are not processed correctly, which it seams is the case, given the volume of foreign objects mixed in with the stuffing, it does beg the question of whether or not it's safe for one to lie their head on for eight to ten hours per night, or how their other, more costly products, like their mattresses, are processed.

  I purchased the hybrid mattress approximately 2 years ago. The main reason was because they claim no fiberglass is used. Three main problems: 1. The smell. Pretty unbearable when unpackaged for over a week 2. The springs dig into my hips. 3. As it starts to breakdown, fiberglass is emitted from the mattress cover. I know it is fiberglass because I am highly allergic. I don't believe this is going to last one more year much less 25! I do not recommend it. Won't bother with customer service, as they were not helpful during the ordering process.
