************,Your speculation is incorrect. We process premium billing payments and then invoice our clients accordingly. First Enroll DOES NOT get a percentage of ANY company's earnings and we would appreciate you laying off the slander and irresponsible/inaccurate speculations. ONLY your insurance agent can sanction your refund, SO YES you are wasting your time leaving negative reviews against us INSTEAD of contacting the party who sold you your coverage and can actually assist you.

I just made my first payment to your third-party company and I am just now reading all these negative reviews, and I feel stupid for not reading this earlier, so far I havent had any issues but that is because I havent use the service yet. I have a doctors appointment coming up the last of this month, and I pray that I dont run into the problems that I have been reading about, and even though you are a third-party company why do you represent these businesses with all of these complaints, they are making your company look very horrible,, my opinion is that your company bears the same responsibilities as the people that you are representing and when the first class action lawsuit come down, you should and will be just as guilty as the people that you represent,

******************, We are an independent billing company processing member premium payments. We do not represent anyone but ourselves. Would an accountant represent the business practices of a client? NO - they simply prepare the financial statements based upon the information provided to them. We are separate and independent from the businesses whose premiums we process and have NO KNOWLEDGE of any other company's day-to-day operations or business practices. If you have ANY issues what-so-ever with your coverage - DO BE CERTAIN TO CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE ************** and if you are ultimately dissatisfied, please file a BBB complaint with the PROPER COMPANY. Our reviews are 99% misdirected and outside of our control. Unless there is an error in your billing, we are not involved. Thank you.

First Enroll might be getting a bad rap from the affiliate sales companies that sign up potential customers. One issue is that the welcome letter that includes the insurance card and discount card list First Enroll and the phone number in the letter is actually not in service. The insurance was laughed at by every doctors' office I presented it, self pay was cheaper considering the monthly premium, there are no realized savings whatsoever. When I called the affiliate to cancel my trial of the insurance and discount program, as is mentioned in the welcome letter, there were some unfortunate games being played by the agents. Leaving me on hold for extended periods of time and sounding exasperated once we connected, I offered to call back but that I certainly needed to cancel before the 30 day **** and I was verbally assured that would happen. I called the next day and agents who spoke to me/took my call then pretended not to hear me until I asked if they were f*ing with me and then they put me on hold and never answered so I hung up knowing they would not honor my wishes to cancel and avoid subsequent charges. I ended up getting my financial institution involved for fraud claim. This was a total mess and completely turned me off to trying to find health insurance because I assume I will only end up in a trap or with a 750 dollar per month per person policy as one of agents spitefully told me I would need if I wanted "real insurance".

**************,You purchased a policy via YOUR insurance agency ******************* Partners and were provided the products that you selected via your carrier Unified Health. We at First Enroll collected ONE single premium from you on 12/9/22 and returned it to you on 12/13/22 as per YOUR request. We can not even begin to speculate what your scam claims are referring to. We collect medical premiums - period. We do not represent YOUR agent, YOUR carrier or YOUR chosen insurance products. You are irresponsibly casting accusations against a company that has done you no wrong. It's ridiculous and it's slander. Gain some understanding of what you are doing before attacking businesses in good standing.

This insurance is a scam. I gave them all the information they asked including all of my husbands medical history to make sure that he was covered. They said definitely. All of his doctors were on his plan including a ************** Now they are refusing to pay any bills. Why would anyone be seeing doctors at a cancer center if he did not have cancer. It was a complete bait and switch. They lied on the application, which they filled out. They were well aware of his previous condition, We've been paying over $700/month and they have not paid any bills. We've been stuck with everything since they claim it was pre-existing. They have continually lied. They don't even deserve 1 star.

**************, All of the frustrations that you are communicating in this BBB review have to do with your insurance agent and your carrier (for claims) , not First Enroll. We ************** policy premium payments post-enrollment. If you would like to provide us with your husbands information, we can provide you with your insurance agent and carrier contact information. First Enroll does not sell insurance and we have nothing to do with that process nor your husband's outstanding medical claims. You are filing a complaint against the wrong company entirely and we respectfully request that when reporting grievances to the BBB, that you direct them appropriately. Thank you.

BAIT and SWITCH practice is used. Deceptive practices of bait and switch, I ask for medical and got a limited benefit plan. ****** and her manager, ****** mentioned a $75-$100 co-pay, $3-4 generic, and $10-$14 brand prescription, no deductible, and considering I disclosed my medical condition, the policy issued provided what was not discussed and have a pre-existing condition clause. Called 1-732-xxx-9733 to cancel and waited for another cancellation department, spoke to *************************** to cancel and he refused to cancel. I've mentioned I wanted medical and what was sold was supplemental, accidental coverage which I did not want. I mentioned I already got coverage elsewhere and they still refuse to cancel the policy within the 10-day window to cancel. I wanted to talk to his supervisor and he cut me off. WARNING - THEY SHOULD GET PENALIZED FOR UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES.

I contact them to find out what my insurance benefits were. If this was a billing company, she would have told me so. INSTEAD, with no more information than my name and d.o.b., she told ME what my email address was and how much my monthly payment was. I asked her what that covered. SHE EXPLAINED THE WHOLE THING! What my coverages were, INCLUDING the Discount card for Dental, Vision, hearing, etc!!! IF you are 'just a third party billing company' and you 'don't sell insurance..don't sell Anything', then who the h*** is answering your phone number and selling insurance???

Yes our customer service representatives have an overview of your plan as associated with your member premium billing. It is provided to us by your insurance SALES agent - *************************** of Assured Benefits Direct . Sounds as though you received superior customer service from a ********************** Representative who took it upon themselves to review your account with you, rather than forwarding you to your agency and having you explain your needs a second time. We will review the call notes immediately and make certain that this representative is praised accordingly. While you intended this as a criticism, we are truly pleased to hear this admirable feedback.

SCAM - I had same experience as described below by T.S.- just yesterday. Sold a policy with bogus information and he said I HAD TO buy all these unnecessary add-ons which I did not want. He said the policy had copays - which it did not, it had 70% coverage only for everything. The people who helped me cancel were great - although we shall see once I see the refund on my credit card statement.

If zero stars was an option, I would select it. I had a very similar experience than those in the reviews. I got scammed into signing up for a fraudulent insurance policy. I cancelled and was "issued a refund," except that NO refund ever entered my account! I have spent HOURS on the phone with First Enroll employees and they are telling me they sent the money to my credit union. My local credit union, which has not made a mistake in the 20+ years I've banked with them, verified that they never received any money from First Enroll. The "supervisor" at First enroll was super rude, demanded my bank statement, and when I told him I am not comfortable providing his company personal financial information, he said there is nothing he can do to help me. I will be filing a police report at this point and will never do business again with any health insurance company that uses First Enroll as a billing company.

****************** - First Enroll is a premium billing company. We do not sell insurance, nor anything else, so we certainly did not "scam" you into buying something that you did not want. As for your refund - $527.71 was refunded to the Great Basin ******************** on September 28, 2022 at 3:48 pm. We can happily provide you with proof of same so that you can follow up with your bank. This is truly a matter that will need to be settled with your credit union. Your negative review is totally false and unwarranted. We regret to hear of your frustrations, but you are aiming them towards the wrong entity.

Really horrible customer service, and just another typical insurance company that finds every reason not to honor claims. However, the reason I came on here is because of their unscrupulous handling of my final payment. I tried to cancel my policy by first stopping payment for the month. 2 weeks later, I received notice saying my policy was cancelled as of 2 weeks prior (when I stopped the payment). Great! Policy cancelled! When I checked my bank account though, the payment had been processed! So, why did they cancel my policy? I raised the issue with my bank showing the email that showed it was cancelled and was told, I did not cancel with enough notice per the contract - ok, but then why did First Enroll not honor the same contract and keep my policy active? I asked them to send me a statement showing all my payments on their letterhead (because I no longer had access to my online portal). I was never provided this and was told to address my bank. I reactivated my query which took the query further, after which I received an email from First Enroll telling me if I withdraw my complaint my final payment wld be refunded. I did not do this and so they kept my payment. So, I paid my monthly payment in the final month for a policy that was cancelled. Based on that notice, had I made a claim after the specified date, I would have been told that my policy is no longer active, yet they kept this final payment. I do not know what the laws are, but I am pretty disappointed in my bank as well.I am happy to honor my contractual agreement but that means, my policy should not have been cancelled that final month, which it was.

****************, We are not an insurance company and we did not sell you your policy. We are simply the billing company for member premiums. Your insurance company is Sovereign *************************** ************. Your insurance sales agent is ******************************* - ************ and your insurance agency is ************************* ************. While refunds are processed by us here at First Enroll, we do not hold the authority to ***** or initiate them. Only your carrier and sales agent do. That being said, I do see that the final payment that you are referencing in this complaint was refunded via chargeback efforts put forth by your banking institution back on June 27, 2022. I will email you proof of same for your reference and records to ************************ If you have not received this refund to your **** card/Bank Account, you will need to follow up with your bank as to why.
