      This is a horrible company. I called Covered california to pay my already existing ** care insurance bill and somehow got connected to this company. The woman said she was paying my bill for me on the phone and it was a third party payer thar costs $7 more than my insurance. She did not tell me it was her company. And when I called To cancel and I felt This was fraud they said they camcelled it and it would be returned but the money still wasnt returned in the week. I called Back again to speak to the agent who enrolled me to ask why she deceptively acted like she was just paying my LA care bill directly and I was Put on hold and hung up on. This has been a horrible experience and I meed My money returned now.

We are not involved in the sale of any insurance products at any ********* do not represent the products/policies of the insurance provider. We simply process member premium payments after they enroll. On January 12, 2023 at 4:15:54 PM, you purchased and provided your signature as authorization to be charged the corresponding insurance premiums. We have your signed application on file, which more than addresses your false allegation of money being taken without your knowledge. Additionally, on the two occasions you requested a refund, our CS team was able to assist and honor both requests. You have been fully reimbursed. Please be mindful of the claims you make online. Being frustrated is workable, making slanderous accusations when you fully authorized your purchase is not.Thank you.

      This company is a scam they took payment for a fake insurance when we called the actual insurance Co they had no record of an active account that we supposedly purchased they need to be investigated and shut down they give false information to people and scam them out of money they are not telling the people the truth about what they really do when you call about insurance they are a fraud

      Scam. I got insurance through them but found a better plan and canceled it before the trial date was over. I got my down payment back but then the next month they still took money out of my account! Total scam!

      If "First Enroll" is only a billing company and not an insurance company, then they are knowingly involved in a scam. They claim in many responses below "we are not an insurance company", so they are allowing a fraudulent insurance company to use their services and then claim that they have no part of it. The "insurance company" that bills through them sold me a bogus policy and charged me $567.00 saying I could go to the same doctors I had, and it was essentially "Cobra" - this is completely false - it was nothing of the sort. My doctor's ****** said they have never heard of the insurance company from the card I was sent. FIRST ENROLL is participating in charging people for this and then shrugging their shoulders.

      Neither First Enroll, nor the ******************* sold you anything. Your insurance agent did. We are not knowingly engaging in or supporting anything fraudulent. We further do not answer for sales related complaints. We are contracted directly by the Carriers. The insurance sales agents and agencies are also contracted directly by the carrier. We support many carriers and each works with many agents/agencies to sell their policies. We do not know of nor represent those relationships. If the policy was not to your liking or did not meet your needs, we understand that and hold no opinion in the matter. Your BBB review is incorrect and slanderous and as you are addressing the wrong entity entirely, will ultimately be of no assistance to your grievances. You are seemingly uninformed as to the different parts and participants in this process and it would be appreciated if you did a little due diligence of your own before casting dispersions from your keyboard.

      I desperately needed health Insurance. I went through my state health connector in Dec 2022. The whole experience was bad . First Enroll plays a part in this mess. I am dissatisfied with the short time I dealt with this ridiculous company after I purchased a health insurance policy through the Massachusetts health connector. The website to access my benefits is NOT very user friendly either. I had such a bad experience with this 3rd party billing company that I was forced to cancel my policy today . To much conflicting information and you hear so much loud background noise when you speak to a representative. I am stuck with a medical bill that is over ****** for a routine visit with my primary care doctor . Seems so weird and like a scam . The ***************** called **************************** is terrible too. The whole experience is a NIGHTMARE . It's a long story of what happened to me. It is disgusting and I feel scammed by the whole bad experience.

I do apologize for the background noise within our call center, but we do have a lot of customer service representatives working within an open floor plan, which is a typical call center layout. With regards to your outstanding bill or your unhappiness with your provider, we have no involvement there and to include that information in a grievance lodged against us is both misdirected and inappropriate. We can not dictate or manage how other companies operate and we do need the end user to understand that, who their provider is and who their insurance agent is. The only way for you to encourage positive change is to speak directly with them, not aim it at us.

      This company is a complete scam, they do not provide the service and cover what they claim to advertise. If you try to cancel them, they give you the run around. Beware , do not give them access to your bank account. They are quick to take money but drag themselves to return funds . We spoke to two representatives today and both claim their manager was busy to talk to us. They keep asking why you need to cancel and what other insurance is covering you.

      Hello. First Enroll does not "advertise" as we do not sell anything. We are the billing company. Your policy was sold to you by your insurance agent/agency which is a separate entity entirely and with which we have no affiliation. We are contracted by the carrier to process premium payments and have nothing at all to do with the sales process. Additionally your cancellation and refund request must be initiated with that same insurance agent/agency and then we simply process that directive. I presume you are having an issue contacting them as our customer service team is available 5 days a week and a manager is always at the ready. Would you like the information for who you purchased your policy through as your complaint here reads as though you believe First Enroll sold you something and will not allow you to cancel? We are unbiased in the matter and certainly willing to cancel/refund you as your agent directs. We hold no opinion in the matter and would not benefit from thwarting your cancellation efforts regardless. Do let us know if you need that agent information.

      First of all even if you try to contact the original agent who sold you the initial policy, you call their phone extension to cancel they are not available. Do not say is your insurance company, because it is First enroll who spoke to me directly. Please take accountability, do not pass the blame in to someone else. That is why i am reiterating your Company is a scam that is deceptive. Where you want to offer insurance you do not support directly. So we called your customer service at **********************. The manager at first enroll supposedly is busy and cannot take the call. So your customer service agent name Called *** is saying to us I cannot cancel because we need to know what is the new Insurance covering you, what is the premium, what is your out of pocket. It seems they want to know more information that should not be asked. If first enroll has a 30day cancellation policy. Cancellation should be done at the customer request . I will continue to call your office everyday until you return my money to my bank account. Only way your Company will understand is if someone sues you. Which should be done. Better business bureau should have a minus star review , I would give you one hundred negative stars

      We can take no responsibility for your insurance agents accessibility. They are a totally separate business. We DO NOT offer insurance or anything else, we process billing. When you call FE customer service with a cancellation request we connect you with your agency for the submission of your cancellation request. "***" is not an FE employee, nor do we care whether you have secured back up insurance or not. It is of no consequence to our operations either way, thus leading me to believe you were on the phone with an employee of your agency and were connected via our CS team. Thankfully your misunderstanding of the insurance product your purchased and the parties involved carries no bearing on our BBB rating. Can you imagine if confused and upset consumers could spew whatever they like and have it impact a businesses reputation? Businesses would suffer immeasurably over misinformation. I recognize your frustrations, but I am sorry you are only partially correct in your assessment of things and totally mistaken in where you are laying the blame. If you would like me to attempt an intervention on your behalf and push your cancellation agenda with your insurance agency, I will happily provide that service, but this slanderous and inaccurate depiction of events would need to be retracted. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

      I got signed up on 1/12/23 I just received my cards. I went online to look at the company they set me up with and it is for Native *********, which I am own not. I am assuming its not an oversight with me being an African ******** Female. The price is great!

      This company along with their agents in different states is just a scam that is benefiting from customers in need of *********************** They sell a product that looks real on paper, but delivers no service for the money collected from customers. Unfortunately for the customer they do not realize this is a complete scam until they are in need to use medical service. By the time you figure you are in a scam the company has benefited from hundreds of dollars from the customers. As other customers have reported this company only present a good selling speech, but when is time to cover the medical bills or give customer service they are rude and give you a run around leaving the customer with nothing. BE AWARE this is a complete SCAM praying on people that search the ************************** website. Do not fall for this illegal activity you will be in debt to the medical provider who treats you. This company needs to be shot down by state and federal authorities.
