I attended a focus group and was told I would be paid in 20 business days. 20 business days has passed and I have still not received payment. I tried to contact the company and I did not get a response. I sent multiple emails and I am still waiting for a response.Business Response

I participated in a market research study with SAGO on April 9th as a business owner regarding ******, even taking time away from my birthday vacation to do so. I was initially informed that I would be compensated via ******, but after over two weeks of back-and-forth, I still haven’t received my payment. I followed up multiple times and was told the client was delaying the incentive. Most recently, I was informed that the payment would now be sent via ********** instead, but I have yet to receive anything. I’ve never had to wait this long to receive payment for a market research study and it’s disheartening to see others stating they’ve waited much longer. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, especially after committing my time in good faith. I still haven’t received the incentive as promised as of April 26th.Business Response

It has been over three weeks since I participated in the ****** study with SAGO on April 9th, and I still have not received the $200 payment. I was informed that payment would be issued two weeks ago. This delay, along with the lack of communication, is unacceptable. SAGO needs to take accountability and ensure that I am compensated promptly for the time and effort I dedicated to this study.

Good 'ol Sago is getting worse and worse about late payments to those of us who help them make money and keep them in business. In short - I was promised a $150 Gift Card for my time spent on a focus group panel on March 13, 2025 and I still haven't received payment. They claim it takes 20-biusiness days to receive payment once we submit request. That's on top of the 10-days it takes to receive the 'ok' to submit that request. I submitted the request for payment on March 25th and it is now April 25th and...still no payment. That's more than 20-business days Sago....once again....WHERE'S MY $150 **** GIFT CARD? AND WHY ARE YOU GETTING WORSE with your payout schedule???Business Response

I completed a study with SAGO on 3/18/2025 and my incentive was in my focus group wallet that same day I cashed it out for a virtual gift card from SAGO that very same day 3/18/2025 which was promised to arrive in my email within 20 days!! It is still processing in my sago focus group wallet and it has been well over a month now 20+ business days not including weekends this is ridiculous that its taking this long again this happened to my last incentive that I cashed out it took over 2 months and now it looks like this one will also take well over 2 months to receive I will advise any and everyone to avoid SAGO this is ridiculous that you guys cant even pay us out in a timely manner!Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, but I should not have to reach out to the business and file a complaint to get my issue resolved it should not take over a month to get paid out from a study before you guys took over Schlesinger we got paid the sand exact day leaving the study in a envelope and other companies pay out online within minutes to hours or same day worst case next day over a month or even 20 days or 4-6 weeks is ridiculous we do our part you guys need to do your part people are going to stop doing these studies with SAGO because of your payout system. Get it together!

Today is 4/18/25, it's unfortunate that I have to resort to this to get a simple response. In the past, Focus Group/Sago/Schlesinger, was great & was prompt about payments to participants. Now the delays in processing for rewards are extremely lengthy and unexplainable. I participated in a study UIG241019789 on 3/4/25, had $125 incentive added to the online wallet on 3/11/25, which I redeemed right away request ID ******* - with the promise of 20 business days processing (which btw is 4 calendar weeks & is insane for "processing" a reward that is automated & should be already approved for funding from company sponsoring study). I emailed the ******* support email multiple times in the past week with no response besides auto-reply. We are approaching 30 business days, almost 6 calendar weeks since incentive was awarded. There is no call-in # or human chat option, so I'm sure their email is slammed with original and follow-up complaints from others adding to delays. The studies are enjoyable and *********************** all do a good job. Just asking for some respect for all participants by providing the timely compensation reward in return for our time and info provided for the study, without having to chase the small (relative to company with >$100M annual **** reward payments with no response.Business Response

I did a focus group at Sago on 3/11/2025 and the agreement at that time is that the 150.00 reward would be paid within 21 days. After my successful participation was confirmed, I later received a notice that virtual reward could take 4 to 6 weeks or longer, which was not our agreement. It bothers me that the company is not living up to the original agreement. Years ago, they used to send rewards out within a week after completion. Now it's getting longer and longer, with participants now unsure of when the company will ever pay them. It has been 5 weeks! I'm asking for them to send the reward. Hello, I participated in a study on current events on the 27th of February, got sent an incentive to my focus group wallet on the 4th of March, and was told to wait for approximately 20 business days after receiving it. Well, it's well over a month now; it's been 32 business days, and I still haven't gotten my incentive. I have called customer support several times and even sent an email, but none of them have been responded to. I really can't fathom how this organization is still in business.
