I participated in an hour study located in ************** ********. I was told I would be compensated 90$ for the hour focus group about movies. I never received an email call or check of any kind regarding my payment. This is really disheartening since I have never not been paid for my time in prior focus groups. I have participated in 3 interviews (November, March and March). I never received payment for November despite multiple outreaches. I received payment for one interview and received an email requesting my ssn or ein to receive payment for the other interview. I went to complete but do not have access to my account (it says my email doesnt exist). I have outreached to their customer service with no response.Business Response

Hi, so *** participated in a study they invited me to without mentioning that the payment is gonna be mailed and didnt say anything about mailing until I finished the study , plus I got the invitation from their website and on the site they say redeem points into giftcards and so they give the impression like they are like any other online group. when contacting them that I want my reward online , they dont even answer me , so they took the money to them.Business Response

on february 27th I attended a 90 minute online focus group with Schlesinger Focus Group.as of today april 17 I have not received any payment. I have contacted the company several times and received a autogenerated response regarding large volume of emails & no other reply. this company owes me payment & is obviously trying to avoid that. It appears that this is an ongoing problem as there are several other complaints regarding the same non payment issues.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I was never notified when I agreed to participate in the study that compensation would be in the focus wallet no instructions were ever given via email or over the phone that it was going to be in the wallet but that it was going to be sent via mail nor did I receive an email notification that the funds were available in the wallet to redeem.
I did check my focus group wallet yesterday and I have claimed the $72. ************************************************************************** the system shown.
I still have not received **** gift card payment.

I completed an online interview (Project: USQ2310636 Media Consumer Interview) with Sago Focus Group (formerly known as Schlesinger Group) on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:15pm EST. I spent about an hour on a Zoom interview and was told that I would receive $100 in compensation. After the interview I didn't hear from Sago about my compensation. I have sent multiple emails to their customer service email account ********************************************************** beginning in early March and have not received a response from their organization.
