      By far the worst home warranty company. We purchased a 6 year contract. Our furnace has been out for over week (second time in 3 weeks) and they keep playing games telling us to wait another 1-2 businesses days for an approval. Its in middle of winter and my family have been freezing in the house for a week. There is no sense of urgency or any sympathy for my family freezing in our home. ******* went out 2 weeks ago and we had to pay out of pocket because they played games and refused to have ************ it insisting they order the part (gas valve) because they could get it cheaper. They sent the same tech out for second time because the heat wont go on and stay on. Tech said the control board is now the problem. We have called every day since Monday and told each time it will be 1-2 days for reply and told something different each time. They are now telling us late on Friday before Christmas holiday weekend they want to send another tech because the one they have a contract with is to expensive!! And it will be another 1-2 business days before they do send someone. They refuse to let us speak to a supervisor or anyone above ********************. Now my family has to go through weekend and Christmas in the cold because they refuse to authorize the technician they have on contract with. We have been placed on hold for over an hour several times this week and not once allowing us to speak to anyone other than ********************. They do not care about you or your family or if they are freezing in your home. They play games waiting you out so you pay for it and not them. Worst customer service I have experienced in my life.

      This is a ripoff of a company, they will only warranty $175 of my garage door opener because of it's age. And they DON'T pay for installation. All of the reviews on their website are 4 & 5 stars, but looking at BBB, I see the contrary. I am a disabled veteran who has just had a heart transplant 10 months ago and this is why I purchased a home warranty. Can something be done about this company?

      This has got to be the worst experience from a company in my life. They are all about getting your money. I call this company twice, I have yet to see a technician come to my home. They are excellent at buying time about getting someone to your home. No Stars at all.

      Horrible. Scam. WARNING: From my experiences, this is the worse warranty company ever. Their goal is to deny your claim no matter what. They do not provide reason for denial (I learned from the contractor), refer you to a contract that has tons of exclusions), do not return your calls including management or automated system for holding spot, do not process your resubmissions although they state 1 to 2 business days, tell you they are escalating your claim and never do because everytime you call for a status they say same thing, etc. Save your money and use it towards the work you may need done. I believe this is a scam. Please save yourself the headache and time and do not select select warranty services for your warranty needs if you must procure a warranty company.

      I wish I could give it a zero star. Totally a junk company and junk warranty. I had a toilet valve issue and they find me a contractor quoting a rather high price to replace just a shutoff valve Select home warranty said he can only cover 250 and I need to pay another 275 just to replace a shutoff valve, and it takes almost 1 month for it to come up with it. That's ridiculous. Also nine out of ten times whenever I had any issues, it will always tell me it is not covered under the contract. Believe me, you will regret purchasing select home warranty because it is totally junk and your money won't get you anything from them!

      This company deserves zero rating. I cancelled my warranty plan with them because of their sub-par reimbursement process and went to a different company. Their overseas customer service is a hit or miss. One time I spent several minutes with an agent asking me to repeatedly spell my name. I eventually gave up and just disconnected. I don't write reviews but this deserves one. After cancelling my service, they kept calling. I must have told them close to 6 times to stop calling me and each time they promise I've been added to their "do not call" list. As I'm writing this review, they just called again. Stay far away from this company.

      I purchased a warranty plan when I bought my new house with select home warranty. I have worked with other home warranty companies in the past and have had pretty good results with them but this company was 100% completely useless. I filed numerous claims with this company and the response from the customer service people are always the same. They said that they are unable to find anybody that wants to work with them and that I would have to find my own service people pay for it and then file a reimbursement which could take 6 months. I could have done that without hiring them to do it for me. I called numerous times to talk with the office and it's always they won't let me talk to a manager they say that they are the manager but they will not remedy the situation. I have dealt with other warranty companies in the past and none of them has ever told me that they cannot find anybody to do the work and that I would have to find my own contractor and then pay for it and then file to get reimbursed, to me that is complete incompetence from the company. I have told them every time I called that they are incompetent in the people on the phone are not helpful at all. I would definitely stay clear from this company although they did refund me the money that I paid for the contract minus $75 which I do not feel that that is right considering they did not perform the way that they were supposed to in the contract but at this point it's better to just be done with it then pay $75 then do hold on to it for another 6 months and then I could have got out of it with full refund. Was the worst decision that I have made with this house and after reading the other reviews on the better Business bureau website I totally understand all those people this company is 100% useless they want your money and then they want you to do what they're supposed to have done.

      Aboslutely horrible. My plumbing issue has been open for over a month now. The tech they dispatched wont show up. The claim has been in no show status for nearly a month yet they wont dispatch an alternate technician. I have spoken to customer success 3 times so far. They do not **** back as promised. Each time i ask for money back they put me through the same drill. They will not email you or call you back. The reps follow a script and do not trupy care avout fixing yiur issue.

      Buyer beware sales agent promised a great coverage plan, they have not covered anything, the customer service is horrible, you cannot understand the agent, so there is a huge communication gap

      Signed up with this company in September - Made a claim at the end of december refused to cover 100% of the clothes washer because we were still within ***************************************************** full during this window (beware of this clause if you sign up) I've never heard of such a thing with any other company. Would only cover 150 of a 600 repair, rest would have to come out of our pocket. This is a total scam! Look elsewhere! Then to add injury to insult they charge you 75$ to cancel!!
