This is totally scam. I am very surprised that American Water (the utility company) allows this company to provide protection plan. 1). I enrolled the plans for a few of my rental properties. I had a couple of times that I tried to use the plans (two properties are about sewer line, one is A/C heating). They basically have all kinds of excuses to decline the coverages 2). They increased the protection plan prices (by 3 times) without giving me notice. 3). Some representatives are basically liars (deliberately giving wrong information). I called to cancel all my plans. They try all ways to ask me stay (reducing the price) and I rejected. This is just not the way they run business. I hope other people don't fall into the trap of the protection plans provided by American Water Resources, LLC.American Water Resources, LLC

Well I received some marketing materials about sewage insurance protection, so I thought I would do some research and I'm glad I did. No thank you American Water Resources ! Horrible. Is there a way to give zero or negative stars? Called on a Thursday to start claim (broken water pipe to house). They said they were entering it as an emergency since I had no water to the house. After no word for 24 hours, I call for status. After putting me on hold for 20 mins they hung up. I called back and they told me they submitted a work order to a plumber 18 hours after I called in the claim. They then told me that the plumber was scheduled to call to set up an appointment on ********* much for emergency service. Stay away from this company.American Water Resources, LLC

I have just spend two days trying to cancel my account. when you call them they tell you how long its going to be the last call the wait time was an hour so leave your number and they will get back to you. I am still waiting!!!! then you try texting and text back and forth than you are told sorry not our department. than after three different phone numbers and picking different ***** you might get somebody to talk to who can cancel. On every phone call they must be working out of their houses because you can hear dogs barking, kids yelling, older voices yelling in background. Plus it was so hard to understand what is being said they're English is pretty broken up. After days of this I finally did get it cancelled, I do have to say I would never recommended them to anyone wished I had checked them out on your siteAmerican Water Resources, LLC

They left raw sewage under my 91 year old mother's home. They told their plumber that it was installed wrong. They hadn't even seen it. They don't return phone calls and when my mother needed an emergency repair, they said find a plumber and we will pay you back. They paid about 20 on the dollar. We cancelled them, and then months later took money out of my mother's bank without authorization. I would like to leave a few cuss words, but I won't.American Water Resources, LLC

I called to request service and someone from a foreign county answers and then proceeds to say they can't hear me and hangs up. This has happened twice. They are intentionally not responding to not provide service under this coverage that we pay for!American Water Resources, LLC

I called them several times trying to get a copy the contract for Water Line Protection, charged to my monthly water bill, I was only able to get them to address the issue,when I contacted the ****************************. After speaking to a Ms ****** at American Water Resources, l asked her to cancel the service and she indicated i would get a credit of $61.95. When I received my October 2024. none of the adjustments we agreed were corrected.American Water Resources, LLC

0 stars for this company I called customer service and they put me with someone from the *********** that speak like robots, there is no feeling or empathy with your concern or problem maybe because they are from a different culture Its a horrible experience I hope Im not the only one complaining so that they change and have American people to answer the phone and understand what we go through They were not able to help me They left me waiting for like 25 minutes and no one was coming to help me It was so frustratingAmerican Water Resources, LLC
