      How dare this company call themselves American Water Resources! After calling several times and speaking to numerous employees It appears that none of them have a full grasp of the English language, Trying to get them to understand any terms describing a water problem such as a leak is like trying to explain brain surgery to a cashier at ********** they are clueless as to the service they are working for. It appears that almost everything that the contract states they cover is not really covered due to some little technicality. A waste of 21 months of payments by me for no service. Cancelled my contract ****** Learned!

      I have NEVER experienced such a brutally bad series of customer service events as I have with **********************. Consider the following chain of events that occurred on Tuesday, September 20, ******) called, spoke to *******. Disconnected.2) called 2nd time, spoke to second operator. When I asked to speak to *******, he scoffed and ignored me. He even asked me to provide him my credit card number so that he could charge me $50 to make the appointment. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he became defensive and combative. He finally put me thru to a manager, ******, who may have been helpful but was disconnected a second time.3) ****** called back, and we continued our conversation. disconnected a third time. 4) I called my regular plumber, who surveyed the work to be done, and started work.5) About 20 minutes into his work (hydro-jetting the sewer line), a plumber who had been dispatched by American Water Resources shows up at our property, expecting to have that job to do. I received no phone call from AWR saying that a plumber had been dispatched, or that they were accepting the job. There was also no claim number communicated to me over the phone.6) It was only later that I discovered a raft of auto-generated emails from AWR.7) When I contacted them about the possibility of getting reimbursed per my coverage, they said no, since I had contacted someone else to do the work.8) I contacted ************ American Water to see if there was any recourse with them, seeing that they enable AWR to bill me. They said, no, they're different companies (but the corporate logos look very similar).I would suggest that the ** ************************* take a long hard look into the business practices of American Water Resources. I am reporting AWR to both the ** and ** *************************.

      Very helpful during a recent serious leak on our water feed line. Went smoothly, timely and the repair was completed on a holiday. I prefer to keep maintenance matters separate from homeowners insurance as things like this are not what home insurance is for; thats for catastrophic loss and even at that an insurance company is not going to pay to Fix the leak, only the damage caused by the leak.

      This company is a joke. Because they have a monopoly on water in ************* **. area does not entitle them to disregard their clients' needs! I have been waiting to speak with someone from the company for months. I leave messages and no one ever gets back to me.Their relative company, American Water Resources, is even worse. I waited 7 months to fix a small water leak ... I have been waiting TWO YEARS for a reimbursement for a leak they could not fix in 2020. They told me to have it fixed and I did ... they have not yet paid me for this! They have all documentations including pictures. Someone, anyone ... please help!****************

      Still a joke! I have not yet received the reimbursement check I have been waiting for since summer 2020! The company reaching out is another joke: they have called no fewer than 5 times to tell me the check was mailed. Yet, I never receive it! Simple - overnight it to me.

      Still unbelievable! Yes, a rep called me. I still have no reimbursement check . Thats all I have ever wanted / since July 2020. Someone. ****!!!

      Ive been paying for a protection plan offered by OUC for 7 years. Recently had a damaged main water line into my home due to a large tree route growing under the foundation & compromising this pipe. Sent out ********** Plumbing which was a joke. A service tech came out-not even a plumber to access the water situation. Because my home was built in the 90s with grey poly piping they refused to to fix the problem. They would send a leak locator to find the problem for $350 out of pocket cost but Id have to find a new contractor to do the work. Unbelievable!! What a scam!!

      Yes, because of the hurricane I was unable to take your service rep **** call. I attempted to return his call but the number he left could not be put connected. Dont leave a number where no one can receive my call.

      I submitted a claim for sewer line repair 09/02/2022. The contractor did video inspection and submitted proposal for repairs on 9/6/2022 . I called several times, So far I didnt get any useful response from the insurance company . I was told they are still reviewing the proposal.*********************************** **********************************************************

      **************** representative called. They denied the proposal for sewer repairs because the plumber wants to install 2 new clean outs which is not covered. They are going to get a new proposal from the plumber and then it will be reviewed by the proposal committee. I dont know how any plumber can do sewer repairs with out installing new clean outs . It is more than a month since I submitted the claim and I am still waiting.

      Filed a claim, could not get a contractor in my area. I called the contractor that AMW used in the past, they are not taking calls from AMW because the bills not paid after the work is completed. I called several other heating and air companies, I got the same response. I was told to pay out of pocket, to get the work done, and that AMW would refund me the money paid. for the work. Well, AMW also have a cap on how much they will pay for the work done, in which I went above. Isn't this why we pay a warrantee company to cover the cost of the repairs? AMW have yet to refund me the money. I am seriously thinking about filing a complaint with the *********************** of my State, this is clearly consumer fraud.

      I cancelled my four contracts with AWR because I waited over a month for AWR to find an electrician. I called in two electric claims and AWR closed the claims without contacting me because AWR couldn't find a contractor. I found out today that the claims were closed after I spent five hours on the phones talking to AWR agents.I had to keep calling back before I was informed that the two claims were closed because the agents kept hanging up. I have been with AWR many years and this is the first time I tried to get help but AWR wouldn't help. AWR will not refund me all of my money. AWR should refund me all of my money per AWR refund policy because AWR has not repaired anything for me. I'm going to file a complaint with the Attorney General and BBB. This company is not honest!!!! AWR does not have enough contractors to handle the claims.i tried to get in touch with the corporate office. The number AWR has on line is not a good number. I also, tried to contact the president of AWR but you can't contact the president of AWR by phone.
