I spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to cancel my policy. Thats ridiculous. I have to call a contractor to get them to come out to fix the problem before I can call a plumber. I want to cancel my policy, but I cant seem to get it done

This company is the worst company I had to deal with. To file a claim i had to give the same information over 4 times to find me in the system even though I gave them the account no. I had an emergency plumbing situation and there were no plumbers available to service the problem. I had to find my own plumbling company and now they refuse to pay.American Water Resources, LLC

Canceled and was promised a check refund. That's been 3 months. I've called a dozen times. They keep saying , it will be 14 days. They even lied and said that it would be credited to my water bill. They are not associated with American Water. Then they said a check again. Do not sign ** with this fraudulent company.American Water Resources, LLC

My experience with this company was very disappointing. I needed their help when the Philadelphia Water Department discovered a plumbing defect in vent pipe and curb trap that needed to be repaired. If not repaired, my water service would be shut off. I called American Water Resources to file a claim. They had their plumber come out to look at the situation. But I was told there was no leakage, so they denied my claim. This is part of wear and tear, which they claim to cover. I had to pay almost ******** dollars of my money to ************ Water Department for the work to be done because they were going to shut my water supply off. I've reached out to American Water Resources representatives, on several occasions for reimbursement. I was put on hold and hung up on twice. Bad business practices by far. I would not recommend this company and I look forward to cancel my policy, if my needs are not met. They were not there for me, when I needed them.American Water Resources, LLC

Horrible!!! I submitted a claim for plumbing to American Water insurance because of a protection plan I have with them. The plumbers to their customer service including the managers were awful!. Three different plumbers over a 7 day period showed up unprepared. I was told a million different stories what the issues were while positioning themselves to bill me for work that what necessary to complete the work that was covered by the insurance company. The insurance company is equally to blame for partnering with them and claiming they are unaware of the ********* add insult to injury, the insurance company refused to pay my plumber to complete the work that they would cover under the policy and was necessary for my renovation to move forward which was delayed 9 days by their plumbers. The insurance company is equally complicit. If I could give them all a negative 10 rating that would still be too gracious. I have since canceled my policy because it turned out to be absolutely useless when I needed it.American Water Resources, LLC

BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT ARE SALES NOT SERVICE. TRIED CANCELLING OVER THE PHONE AND *** ASKED A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS WHICH THEY ALREADY KNOW AND THEN TELL YOU TO CALL BACK SOME OTHER TIME. POOR ATTITUDES AND SERVICE. Started charging me for Hot Water tank repair and ALL I signed up for was my water & electric! Then I started getting texts telling me that their pymt to my bank hadn't went thru, when it clearly had! I called them 2 days in a row to cancel my account. The first day I was on the phone with them 3 1/2 hrs, without getting the cancellation. On the 2nd day I was on the phone for 2 hrs & 45 minutes! The customer service people that answer their phones are REALLY hard to understand also. I think this company is a total fraud/scam, and won't be there for you when you have an emergency & desperately need them to send a repairman! I'm still in the process of waiting for the cancelation to my email account. I will be getting an attorney for the fraudulent activity on my checking account. And I'll also be turning them into my bank for fraudent activity! This place needs to be totally shut down!!!American Water Resources, LLC

This company is the worst company I had to deal with. I had a coverage for a heating system that I was paying for a whole year and then when I had a problem with the boiler which is a heating system for the house they told me that it wasn't covered since they cover only furnaces and not boilers. To file a claim i had to give the same information over 4 times to find me in the system even though I gave them the account no. I also got several calls from different people about requesting the same information about the claim. After they assigned a service provider and made the appointment with them to be at the house they finally told me that the boiler was not covered. they don't ask or tell you what's covered when they take your money. ***** company don't sign up. As a landlord I had several warranty and most of the times they couldn't find a person to fix the problem and I had to find my own plumber and so much time and aggravation for np service.Lousy, Lousy!American Water Resources, LLC
