      On November 4,2023 I passed tolls in New Jersey with my EZ pass totaling $4.05. I have a working EZ pass with no issues. My EZ pass was not read and I was hit with a bill got $4.05 plus a $50 fee. To further prove my point that my ezpass was working only minutes later it was read perfectly crossing the George Washington bridge. These fees cannot be waived. I cannot pay this bill online because the it says these transactions dont exist. So now my account was sent to collections. This is absolutely ridiculous and the fees are obscene. This is an problem with the ezpass readers and not with my ezpass.

      I received a letter from Credit Collection Services for a bill from the PA Turnpike for $54.40 dated 12/21/23. Upon calling the company to determine what these charges are for because there is an ez-pass linked to the plate# ******* I was informed there are outstanding charges for 2020 and 2023. When I searched the violation online I determined the $262.00 they are telling me to pay is mostly for their fees and that none of these balances are accurate as payment has been made already. In addition to these charges, I paid a $280.00 payment this January for what was explained to me was for past due charges, now there is more charges and fees? This information is not accurate. At this time, I am requesting that these violations are removed from my tag# ******* as all past due charges have been rectified. A copy of the account charges and payment I made from my Bank of America card is attached.

      Hello, The reason for my complaint today is that I have been unable to contact EZ Pass. I have called EZ Pass 4 times this past week and have waited on hold at least an hr each time. After at least an hour I get disconnected, or the *** doesn't pick up or I give up bc I literally don't have the time to devote to an error on their part. The reason for my phone call to them is because my tag no longer registers to my *********** have been getting nasty txt messages saying that I will be charged $50 if i don't pay for my tolls timely. I tried to log into my EZ Pass account which I had no problem doing before now cannot even access. It says my tag doesn't exist! But it does, I am holding it in my hands now and have had this on my truck for a year now with no issues until current. I have no clue where to go with this. I want to correct this issue but I cannot even attempt to correct it at this point. BBB, Youve always been there for me and I am grateful!!! Let me know if you can help with this. THANK YOU!!!

      On 2/11/24 i was charged a toll on the outerbridge crossing toll. I was no where near that toll plaza. I have sent my claim to ez pass 2 times. They denied my reimbursement both times. The did a toll by plate I asked them for a picture of my vehicle and license plate they can not provide it. How can they illegally charge my account when i was over 30 miles away from that bridge and i was not on a toll road at all that day. I want them to credit my account. I have attached my letter and my registration that i have sent to them 2 times.

      ** EZ Pass I pay the ** tolls every time. The tolls that accept coins. Will take the coins but will not register the toll as paid. Thus giving me a violation. I called the ** EZ Pass service center. They stated I owe ***** in tolls but I also owe ****** in violation fines. They only took ***** off bill and refused to make a payment plan in this matter. Im trying to dispute the violations. How can anyone owe over 1***** in violations fees for 17 dollars worth of tolls.

      I have tried calling ezpass customer ********************** many times and for many months, everytime I call the automated service says they are having phone issues and it's an hour plus on hold, I never get through. I have emailed several times with no response, they keep sending me violation notices on tolls and highways I don't ever travel on, I am not sure how to resolve this problem as they aren't reachable

      It is the second time in several months that I have received at least 6 toll violations, while the toll charge shows up on my account. I tried to dispute and credit via my ezpass account, but one of then I couldnt dispute, and when I wanted to, it told me to call by phone,where they leave you hanging for more than an hour with no answer. I went ahead and paid the $50 because I didnt want to get fined further.
      This is unacceptable, and I want my violations disputed, and my money refunded

      EZPASSNj.com DWG This is to do with the problems reading transponders on the Delaware Water Gap that sits between NJ and PA. This is an ongoing issue. Valid passholders are getting billings for unread or uncollected tolls from their transponders. When answered using the paperwork process the issues do not get resolved. They are then also sent to collections. If you attempt to call it is utterly ridiculous waste of time with awaiting times forever. 3 hrs easy I left the phone on waiting for an answer that never came. So I wrote in and it really made the situation worse. I had two trips over the bridge in one day. DWG one was dismissed on appeal the other return was not - it was the same journey, the same day within an hour or two of each trip. I wrote into them and they responded to one of the trips but not the other - then I emailed them - they take forever to answer even though they say it'll be in a reasonable time ( we don't get a reasonable time to answer) and then get this - they double the problem - and have this snarky smarmy way of emailing that the issue is resolved its not. Its worse! This happened to me. They dismissed one to only resurrect it as a punishment! instead of dismissing both. Its mad and disheartening. EZ pass NJ is a shakedown, a scam & leaves the use of tolling transponders and especially their egregious collections agents EZ passNJ as unreliable and in need of a shake up - untrustworthy. See all of these complaints here on BBB. We have no say in the running of our agencies and no power over these common and garden evils and annoyances. Now today when I try to login to their website on their systems are unresponsive generating multiple types of errors. Tell us who we can go to to get a second look and a fair hearing. These are simple money grabs that are happening to all us valid ezpass holders & travellers over the DWG bridge every day.

      They failed to read my ezpass and sent me a notice in the mail trying to charge me $50 because their machine didnt work and they didnt link my license plate number to my account. So after multiple attempts to reach out to them and they fail to answer even after Ive been on hold for 2-3 hours at a time, I started requesting call backs. 2-3 months have gone by Im not sure at this point. Still no answer but now they have gone to a law firm to then ask for me to paid what is due. They need to call me back if they want any of this resolved.

      EZ Pass has been replenishing my account for large amounts of money. My grandson and I use the same account and he was doing an internship in New York for the past year. I wasn’t to worried because he used to commute back and fortth on the parkway. At one time they replenished the account for one month for $675.i then started calling them and got nowhere and the money kept mounting up. I feel that both the ezpass and ***** bank are responsible for this terrible mistake. I did go to ***** bank and they wouldn’t help. I felt I was out of options, so I waited until my grandson was finished with his internship. Still unable to resolve this.
