      EZ Pass is just impossible to deal with. I have to do something as easy as change the credit card on file. I have been on hold for close to an hour. The online system will not let me file the information
      I put my e z pass tag into the system. And they say it is not correct. I am looking at the bill.
      When I last had to do this, I actually send the credit card information by mail. They also have an archaic system of having to send you a new pin by mail Ouch.

      I received violation from NJ EZPASS due to tolls. I have no problem paying violations however for tolls that range from 2.30 + ***** (fee) will equal to me paying ***** violation. I find that the fee is so steep. Especially as you as you get hit with multiple violations that I ended up paying ****** which I find egregious, steep, and unfair to travelers. Then as I finished paying I wanted to do a customer survey , it states that I accumulated the number of survey for the day which I have not even started one.

      Tried calling their office without any luck. Over an hour on the phone without answer. Money are disappearing from my account and i don’t see any tolls information. For example this morning had $117 and one toll was used for $2.19 and balance now 106. Where is my money going nobody can answer

      On May 13, 2025 I disputed 2 ticket violations I received from NJEZPass. I called and disputed over the phone and was told I 'd receive a follow up letter within days letting me know whether my dispute was accepted or rejected. I received the letter about 15 days later (not within "days") and as I have uploaded here to this site, my dispute was rejected. There were 3 possible reasons listed (as shown in the letter uploaded) for the rejection all of which were not accurate. 1. My dispute WAS submitted within 50 days. 2. The license plate/ez pass account WAS updated within 3 days from when the dispute was started...in fact I did it as I was waiting on hold the day I called. 3. The EZ Pass account WAS sufficiently funded. I checked the date and there was over $100 available. I've seriously spent about 4 hours thus far trying to rectify this. If NJEZPass can charge more than 4x the amount of the toll for an "administrative fee," I too should be reimbursed an administrative fee for all the time I've spent on this. This is not just incompetence on NJEZPass' part, but almost feels like theft.

      There was violations charged to my NJ EZ pass account when the lady told me on the phone that if it goes over it automatically replenishes the missing amount. I am willing to pay the $5 for each violation but I am not paying the $210 in fees because they should have been charged to my card to avoid the fees. I've submit numerous service requests and they just get closed with no explanation and nobody reaches out to assist in resolving it. I want to get this resolved asap.

      this dispute is about EZ-pass charging me with a false violation , I paid both tolls on my way home from Toms River 04/13/25,
      lane 13s, time, 17:07:01, I had paid EZ-pass the total amount $51.15 , I had called them , and the woman told me that I had to do the dispute online which I did , I have not heard a determination from them , I am not guilty , and feel that they just incorrectly charged me for something I did not do, I had a passenger in my car that can prove that I paid both tolls, I'm a senior citizen and dont like being charged for some inadequacies on their part

      I am filing a complaint against E-ZPass NJ for charging me repeated violation fees without proper notification that my account was in a negative balance.

      In early 2025, I received four separate $50 violation charges. I disputed them, explaining that I received no text, app, email, or physical notice about the negative balance. E-ZPass waived two of the violations, but refused to waive the others, citing “courtesy limitations,” while ignoring the actual issue.

      Most recently, I logged into my account and saw—again—that it had gone negative without any notification. This proves their system failed a second time, which they have done nothing to fix despite receiving a formal certified letter from me in May.

      I’m being repeatedly penalized because E-ZPass NJ’s system doesn’t reliably notify users when accounts go negative, even after they’ve acknowledged partial fault.

      Good Morning,I hope all are well. I am submitting this complaint regarding E-Zpass. It appears that I am being forwarded bills well after they are due. Causing me to be late - However I am also being billed when I have an active e-zpass.

      Ez pass of nj continues to deny my disputes even though I hold an open ez pass account. Toll is $6 with an unexplained $60 admin fee. They are unwilling to negotiate and have been predatory at best.

      Ive been with easy pass for about 5 to 6 years. I had one car thats on easy pass, and one of my plate numbers was enteredin wrong so because it was wrong I was getting easy pass charges plus I was paying my monthly fees when it was working so it was a problem with the tag and I had the wrong plate number so today I opened up the easy pass information and I the plate number was wrong by one digit, but theyre telling me that they want me to pay $2100 because of the wrong information and Ialready have a easy pass thats in good standings thats set up on automatic bill pay I feel like theyre trying to strong army Theyre not listening to reason all the toes that went through. Im willing to pay, but Im not trying to pay anything extra they saying all we could wave but you have to pay the rest. Thats $2100 who in the world has $2100 to sit there and set this up. Im in New Jersey correction officer Igo to work every day on the highway. Im trying to get this resolved at the lowest level, but Im willing to take this up to the highest level of possible this ishighway robbery. I serve my town, my city, my state, and it was a common mistake that was entered on my account, but as I explained the *** tried to remove my account of my old license plate, but I have pictures of it. I just need this resolved ASAP. Im willing to pay the money that I did not pay with thetolls, but I do not feel that I need to pay anything extra. I tried to call him. It should be resolved. Please help me out in New Jersey correction, office and ******* Thank you
