I have submitted documentation for a bill that I received in the mail TWICE now. Once on 2/3 never heard back. And today. And I am sending it to the fax number listed on your bill ************. Please have someone check the fax machine, read all documentation and get back to me. Im constantly getting violations in the mail. My account is in good standing with funds. My tag works about 80% of the time. The website does not give enough information regarding dispute. I attempt to call multiple times over the past couple years, with no answer. I refuse to pay the $50 fees attached to the violation and now owe in excess of $500. The entire EZ pass system is broken and im strong armed into the fines because they are the only provider of automated tolls with terrible customer **********************. If i could i would go back to paying with cash, I would, but NJ is forcing the public to use EZpass. You would think as NJ strips all Manned toll booths, those jobs could be absorbed into the call centers. bottom line is, i refuse to pay their criminal fines if they refuse to support the me and more importantly the public they serve. I cant believe NJ is allowing these inflated fines, considering the terrible customer **********************. for the record i would have payed all of the mail in tolls if i could remove the $50 fees without waiting on the phone for 2 hours to not be answered.Initial Complaint

I received a violation when I currently have an EZpass account. I tried to dispute the account online and received a letter days later that it had been rejected because of one of three listed reasons. All listed reasons did not pertain to my circumstance. I mailed in the violation dispute via **** and listed my account information and it was rejected again. All during this time I have tried to call the phone number provided waiting HOURS on hold to never have my call answered. I then received a final notice stating if I didn't pay the violation my bill will be sent to claims. This business is a fraud collecting payments from already paying customers - charging a $30 admin fee on a $3 toll that should have only been a $1.25 charge to my account.Initial Complaint

ezpassnj.com. account # ************* I had an ************************ account for many year. In 2022 I moved out to *****. I returned all the transponders and requested to close my account and send refund. I have never received the refund. After I mailed the transponders I logged into my account and found out they have been received by EZPass **. Now I can't log into the account leading me to believe the account is closed. Toll violations cited at the Union Ramp and the I287 ********/*************** location have incorrectly been assigned to my name even though the vehicle and tag are not registered in my name. I have submitted documents 5 or 6 times that illustrate I do not own the vehicle including a bill of sale to the dealership I traded the vehicle to in the ****************. I do not reside in New Jersey yet the response I get is to provide a copy of the temporary vehicle registration for the plate shown in the violation image. I contacted customer ********************** end of August requesting account be closed. Instructed to mail the tag with copy of bill indicating where the check s/b mailed. They responded via email 10/19/22 that acct was closed and check would be mailed within 30 days.. Service request # *************. Tried calling for a month. Sent email message on 1/10/23. Received new service request # 2-25417310163 indicating response would be received within 10 days. Checked the website on 1/26, showed the following response "your account has been closed. Your balance was refunded as a check and sent to the mailing address on file. if the check has not been received please contact customer **********************". I have been calling every day and have waited on hold for more than 2 hours each day before being disconnected. I have received numerous *********** Violations. I do have a PA Ezpass . I have called being on hold at times over an hour and had to hang up , tried to complete on line but would not let me go any further. I end up with almost $400 in toll and administration fees. I was told I have 10 violations and 2 of them are on hold because they are going to try and get the money out of my account. I have my PA Ezpass set up with automatic replenishment. Now my option is make payments to not get sent to collection. This administration fee of $50 each violation is criminal. I am willing to pay for my tolls I called my PA EZPASS and they say many of them ** EZpass picked me up one way but did not on the return and that's how I ended up with a toll violation. When I spoke with NJEZPASS they say its for no money on the account. I have auto replenishment. This needs to be changed, I have over $300 in administration fees for tolls they just did not pick up or capture then I have to pay this administration fee. CRIMINALInitial Complaint

Feb 2 2023 Called ez pass nj several times over pass week waiting + hour on hold no answer. Finally got person after 1:2 hrs on hold. Was told she was not authorized to help and a person would call within 48 hours! Person was rude and dismissive and offered no help. I am being charged erroneously with no personal recourse. I was sent a violation notice from ** ezpass on 11/30/22. I called (3) times from 11/30-12/1/22; on hold for 1 hour at a time. I finally reached a person by the name of *******, at 10:10am on 12/1/22. After checking the violation of $33.00 ******* informed me $3.00 will be taken out of my PA ezpass account and $30.00 will be void. I also supplied ******* with my transponder number and license plate number. I received another letter on 12/1/22. & 12/13/22. I again tried about (10) different times by phone again waiting for 1 hour or more and not able to speak to someone. I also put in (3) service requests by email. Each one said my service request is closed, submit payment. On 1/29/23 I received a collection notice.I wrote a letter to ** ezpass on 1/30/23 and supplied copies of my phone conversation, my many dates and times of calling and also my service requests through email and sent the letter certified. Today, 2/6/23 I received a letter from ** ezpass saying your violation status is with the collection agency.
