      Received a violation notice for 7/23/2022 on or around august 29th (well after the 30 day dispute window), stating I had a violation for $4.10 for a toll fee and a $50 late fee-citation #t132287606222-01. I had a transponder in my car that worked at every toll from virginia to new jersey and back I tried for numerous days/hours to reach someone on the phone with no luck, submitted a rebill to ezpass request and submitted a dispute form online- in which i received an email stating the "issue was resolved". I than recieved another statement stating my account would be sent to collections if payment was not made. I wasted another couple hours trying to once again reach someone to find out how a resolved dispute is now ending in a collections threat, and I had no luck. I reached out to VA ezpass also who tried to reach them to clarify the issue and they had no luck. I than faxed and mailed a letter to them- in that letter i reexplained that I had a working transponder in my vehicle that this was not at fault of my own, sent them PROOF of all transactions from that trip on my transponder , a check for the amount of toll since they could not rerun my ezpass, and a request for someone to reach out to me. I received nothing back, my check was cashed, and two weeks later i received a collection notice for the late fee amount of $50. I called the collection company (Credit collection services) and explained everything the representative stated "I will pass this info on to the company". I called back AGAIN today to check the status, to be told "a representative never told you that, we can not help with dispute resolution and we can not give you any contact information for this company". This has got to be a SCAM! From the looks of the pages on pages of this company they have done this 100s of times, and thats alot of MONEY! I have an 825 credit score, and this could do alot of damage to my credit

      They are fining me 50 dollars admin fee for a 2 dollar charge unpaid. This bill did not get to me until today. but when I call I cannot get in touch with a live person. Have been on the phone for over 2 hours now and counting. If they are going to charge ridiculous fees they should at least be able to have a reasonable answering time or a callback system.

      We requested closure of account ************* in April 2021 and mailed back Ez pass tags. At that time our balance was over *****. Since then we have called three times, each time they said that it would take several months to cancel account and in the mean time we are being charged **** a month service fee for NOTHING! Our balance is now 14.** and now they sent us a threatening letter stating that we must update our credit card immediately or it will be converted to a cash paying account at which time there will be a ***** per tag fee deducted from prepaid balance.This is absolutely ridiculous and these people need to be jailed for stealing money from people who have been in good standing And requested cancellation due to getting ez pass in the state they live in.Please advise how to rectify this issue. This is a nightmare that doesnt go away!

      The tolls that I am required to pass through on a daily basis due to my home address are run by EZ-Pass. At this specific toll, there are ************ for EZ-Pass or exact change. Paying ************************************************************************ to have to pass through without payment. More often than not, these change lanes are inoperable, clogged, or being serviced by highway officials. In these instances, there is no other route but through EZ-Pass lanes and accruing a violation and a $50 dollar fee. Since these violations have been generated, I am unable to create an account for EZ-Pass and use the service in the way it was intended. The violation balance sitting at over $3000 dollars is unreasonable, and largely due to inoperable, malfunctioning, or unopened exact change lanes at the Lakewood exits on the ********************. I would be willing to pay all of my unpaid toll amounts, and even a portion of the administrative fee, but the balance amassed is unjust and unaffordable.

      I was charged multiple charges of $50 for violation of driving through a ezpass toll, each toll was originally between $3 to $10. I drove through these tolls with a Sunpass, that should according to BOTH websites, communicate with EZ pass. After receiving violations in the mail, I was made aware that ezpass did not register my Sunpass. I went through all tolls with my pass and only with the New Jersey didnt register , every other state on my way there from **************, registered my sunpass, and on the way back home as well. So my issue is therefore only with New Jersey ezpass. I responded back to every violation letter I received from them, with the transmitter number of my Sunpass, I received no response. When I finally received a response, many months later, they said, I did not have funds in my Sunpass to cover the tools, however, still to this day, I have the same remaining balance inside my Sunpass, and, according to Sunpass, they made no attempt to charge any of the New Jersey tolls to my Sunpass. So for $3 to $10 tolls, I am receiving $50 per toll. For what should have been covered under my Sunpass. I have no problem paying the original toll amounts, but because if their fee or $50 per toll, they are saying the amount is over $300.I have tried to call many times and have yet been able to speak with anybody, wait times are 40- 1:55 hours each time. The only way they have communicated with me is through mail that one time they responded. I cant figure out any other way to resolve this with them, and have the original charges paid.

      I went through a toll in New Jersey and I have an EZ Pass account in ******** and for some reason NJ EZ Pass will not simply bill my ******** account and sent me a violation. The violation number is T132291118596. All I want is to be billed for the toll of $7.60 without the violation fee of $100 since I have an account and license plate registered to my ******** account. My ******** EZ Pass account number is ********, my license plate number is ******* and vehicle tag is ***********. BBB assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

      E-Z Pass New Jersey makes it impossible to cancel your account. I've tried multiple *********************** - changed my address (I no longer live in **), and have waited on hold for 1+ hours with no response. This is criminal behavior and should be investigated. I just received a letter in the mail from E-Z Pass stating my balance is overdue by $1.70 (They keep charging me every month, and therefore my balance went negative). E-Z Pass has also sent me to collections. This is extremely disturbing, frustrating, and upsetting, especially at this moment when the economy is hurting so many people. Please Please Please - help me get this resolved.

      EZ Pass NJ send out violations. There are 2 numbers on the website that are not working and no other means to communicate with someone. They do not allow you to submit documentation to dispute the violation and therefore are forcing people to pay violations they should not be responsible for. Easy issues can be handled if able to get a representative on the phone. But this they are fraudulently trapping people into paying for something they should not have to simply because there is noone to have a conversation with.

      I have been a customer of ** EZ Pass and have never had a violation. ** sent me a violation for a $1.25 toll. They added a $50 admin fee to it.I disputed it and offered to pay the $1.25.They rejected my dispute, claiming my dispute was not submitted within 50 days. They sent the violation to me late! They did not give me enough time to respond because they were so late on their end.They claimed something about my license plate was not the same, as well. My license plate has been the same since ***** Their 3rd rebuttal was that my EZ Pass was not sufficiently funded. This is not true; my EZ Pass is drawn from a credit card that I do not use therefore it always has funds available.Ive tried to call several numbers for ** EZ Pass and nobody picks up the phone.This is robbery. I have absolutely no problem paying the $1.25 for my toll. I do not know why the ** EZ Pass tollbooth did not read my EZ Pass that day. If they would look at my account, they will see I have ALWAYS been in good standing.Please assist me in resolving this as I cannot seem to contact anyone at **EZ Pass.Thank you.

      Ez pass says I have violations I was not aware of. My ez pass works fine and my account automatically tops up. I had no idea there were any missed payments and the first letter I received was from a collection agency. I logged into my ez pass account which has had 0 issues for a few months and see outstanding charges from months back. I am not sure if my card failed at the time or the transponder didnt work because many of the charges are from small local bridge tolls which often dont work. EZ pass has added $50 service fees to all of these and I never received any notification even though my ez pass has been working fine and I automatically top up my balance. I have tried calling EZ pass over 10 times and always get a message that says high call volume call back later. The first letter I received in the mail came from an outside collection agency
