      They deserve no stars! Worst company ever! I lived in ** most of my life. I use E-ZPass because I have no choice since they made toll clerks obsolete. I move to ** and E-ZPass had been the worst experience of my move. I usually use autopay so I always have money on my account. Usually you are able to edit your replenish amount. Not with NJ E-ZPass! They will see how many times you use E-ZPass (which is all the **** time since every entrance and exit is a toll) and add their own amount which for me was over $200! Then when my account is no where near $0 they replenish it again with ANOTHER $200! Calling customer ********************** is no help either! You are in hold all day! Literally! Then they want to put you through the wringer about how you cant get the money back once its on the account! Total waste of a company!

      The hold time is endless, over an hour each time I try calling with no resolution. I keep receiving bills even though I'm an ezpass customer and my pass is clearly displayed. When I try to dispute it online, I'm told I can't so instead I have to wait hours on hold and get nowhere!!

      I am currently on hold with NJ EZ Pass, 1 hour and 4 minutes. I returned all of my tags and have email receipts acknowledging that they have ALL been returned. Now it's time to refund my money they charged after I closed my account. They claimed I would get back the $35. It has not happened. Months have gone by. This place is 100% useless.

      They seem to purposely create processes that lead to exorbitant fines. They need to be investigated.

      Wow, my story is similar, closed account, sent transponders back in August (unfortunately I did not get a receipt). I have called numerous times, waiting on hold for ~1.5 hours each time to speak with someone to resolve this, only to be told its not their problem, that a supervisor will call me back in **** business days. I have called them nearly weekly since August, it is now November. To boot, while waiting for call backs, I received a letter they submitted this to a collection agency. I just spoke to someone who told me to give them my cc # so they can charge me $1 until they find the transponders. They complained they have thousands to go through and if they ever find the 2 I sent back, they would refund me. Given others reviews, I know that will never happen and they will continue to charge $1 every month. How can they hold customers hostage like this, submitting customers to a collection agency? Customers who have been loyal for as long as theyve been in business? They need to be held accountable.

      Every time I call, there is always over a 40min. wait time. It is impossible to talk to someone there. I HAVE an EZPass and use it everyday , yet I still get billed occasionally for missing tolls even though my EZpass is sitting on my dashboard! . It is impossible to dispute anything. THEY SEND AN INVOICE, THEN PUT IT IN COLLECTIONS SO THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO!!! Absolute scam, terrible company!!

      no way they deserve even a quarter of a star There is no way to contact these people , their phone numbers lead you nowhere, If you do manage to get on hold , they will not answer the phone. they have hung up on my phone call numerous times it is impossible to get a hold of anyone. I just spent an hour and a half to have them disconnect the phone call at 1:30 in the afternoon. Please help

      Sad. I was given a violation for toll not paid. I have the ezpass always on and ensure I see the 'ezpass paid' sign before I go on . Tried disputing it and got rejected claiming that there were one of few reasons. The only possible one could have been they tried to deduct more than that was available and ezpass did not auto recharge as setup. So I manually added more money and disputed. Again got rejected with the same three reasons. No way to talk to someone and explain the issue on their end.

      **ZPass ** deserves zero stars. I returned my transponders on 8/19/22 (with **** tracking number proof of delivery), along with a letter asking **ZPass to close my account immediately and return the balance in my account. Several timesI have tried reaching them by phone, but the music-on-hold wait times have exceeded an hour and I gave up. On 10/11/2022, I followed up with a message using the **ZPass ** online portal. No response. As of this date (10/14/2022), **ZPass ** CONTINUES TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT $1.00 PER MONTH DESPITE MY RETURN OF THE **** 2-1/2 MONTHS AGO AND MY REQUEST TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT AS OF THAT DATE.
