      I wish I would've read these reviews and complaints before I purchased my midea window ac. I've had it 3 weeks and when I tried to remove the filter to wash it(as recommended) it broke! Now trying to find one in store is not possible, so I emailed their customer support and was told if have to purchase the whole front panel!!! 35.95+s&h and who knows what that's going to be. Should've just bought a GE or Fridgedaire!!! I can easily find the filter for *****!!!

      Terrible product. Bucket deHumidifier stopped collecting water after 5 months of use. Contacted customer service. Said they would send email. Never heard back from them even after calling a second time.Do not purchase this product.

      Worst customer service. Fixing a portable AC that is under a 2 to 5-year warranty is a big hassle. My tech confirmed that the refrigerant is low and I submitted the same to them but still no fixes. Unsure if it will be fixed this summer. My advice is don't buy anything from them if you are expecting some customer service.

      I bought two ****** BTU Midea air conditioners 10 days ago and paid to install the first one. It doesn't work. It has never worked. I tried all the resets that were suggested online. None worked. But I learned from online research that this particular error code, EC 07, is a common issue, so Midea must be aware of it. But nothing in the manual addresses it, other than to say that if an (unspecified) error code problem persists, " disconnect the power and contact customer service." I contacted customer service. The representative had no solution, provided no repair alternative, said only that I can return it to ******* I will, and will use whatever platforms are available to me to warn other consumers to avoid this company.

      Terrible customer service. I inquired about where to get a remote for anp a/c unit because mine did not have one in the box. After 3 days and 6 emails I gave up dealing with them. They kept asking for additional information to match one up. When I finally told them I was done playing email tag they sent an email as to where to buy a remote and even furnished the part number of the remote. If they had this why didnt they take care of it issue on the first or second email. I received it as a gift and they convinced me to never buy anything from this company.

      I only had your Criterion washer for just over a year, lid lock malfunction and no parts available. Menards nice enough to give me a new one, same thing. Within 3 weeks it broke down. Would not spin upon draining. Once again no parts available. I am not exactly sure why appliances are being sold that are not able to be fixed but ****** learned, no Criterion appliances again

      I have a 50 pint dehumidifier purchased at ***'s club 2 Years ago that has stopped working. The unit senses humidity and starts, but never dehumidifier the room. According to basic information online, a dehumidifier should have a **** year lifespan.I opened the tech support case to see if there was anything that could be done, but was told it was not under warranty as it only has a 1 year warranty. I submitted a review on the **** club site that I purchased the unit, as 2 years is not a long time for a dehumidifier to last. A similar Honeywell unit has a 5 year warranty.In a response to my review, it was mentioned to email customer care with my concern, which I did and they stated they could not assist as the unit was out of warranty. As it stands, I would not buy another Midea product as they do not have a reasonable lifespan.

      I am so totally unhappy with this company. I bought a brand new washer and dryer in Dec at ****** I even purchased the extended warranty. On March 1st the washer broke. It took 3 weeks to get a repair person to my house. Now 2 months later my dryer is making a horrible sound and is unusable. I put in a service ticket on 5/18/23 and advised them that I am very unhappy with their product and was told "I am sorry that you are having issues". That's it they moved right on. I just got off the phone with the service people who can't come out until June 5th. I mean really!!! I spent $1500 on your product and I have to wait 3 weeks again for service. Who is going to reimburse me for the money I am spending at the laundry mat. So frustrating. I would really like to take these back where I bought them and get a better brand. I would not recommend Midea to anyone!!! I certainly will never purchase any of their products again.

      We bought a Midea freezer/refridgerator in January 2021 that has broken down with a serious system leak. The local appliance service says it would be $1,000 to fix - about the cost of the original unit. We consider it pretty new, but Midea won't do anything for ** because their warranty only covers 1 year. Bottom line - AVOID MIDEA. They don't stand behind their products.
