1 starI made an order on May 21st for $64.75. They debited my account within minutes of the completion of the order. Within 2 hours they canceled my order with no explanation what so ever. I contacted them to find out how I get my money back and they told me it was just an authorization hold and I had to wait 3-5 business days for the hold to be released. I contacted my bank and they said it was NOT a hold but in fact a debit from my account and that I needed to contact them for a refund. I called them back and they said there was nothing they can do and that I had to wait 3-5 days to see if the money goes back into my account, and they don't know why my order was canceled. This place does illegal collection practices, they rip off people and charge excessive late fees. They fail to send me a statement, they are a bunch of liars and they refused to provide me the corporate office information to file a complaint, they stated they sent me a statement 12 days after my store purchase, I never received a statement and they charged me a $30 late fee on a $100 credit line and they are a bunch of liars. They stated they dont have a Department manager onsite and they have the worse customer service representative.The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

The Children's Place sold my information and I'm now getting pre approved credit card offers in the mail. I called to be removed from whatever list to ensure I no longer receive them. Spoke to two customer services reps who kept referring me to their credit card department who wanted my social security number. I said absolutely not. Transferred me to another department until finally, the system deemed my problem resolved and hung up on me. I won't be making another purchase from this corporation.The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

First time customer, and I will not be purchasing from them again. Placed my order on 04/29 and the next day I was send a email that said my order has shipped and when I tracked it, it said it was waiting to be picked up. I check it every day for 5-6 days and the information never changed. I reached out several times and it took several days for them to reply back to say my order was lost in transit, yet my order was still waiting to be picked up. Seems like they dropped the ball and it was not the shippers fault. Instead of sending me a replacement order, they just canceled my order and offered me a 25% off discount code, when there policy is you cant cancel an order. Terrible experience and I would suggest taking your business else where!The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

This is Legit stuff, I was told my refund would not be processed because that is what is showing on the computer. but the ******** retail law states that the sign must be visible displayed. I only wanted to get my refund because our granddaughter lives with her mother in another state, and she prefers to use another retailer closer to her home. So, the receipt said 30 days which is 05-29-23. why was my receipt not honored. when I call and was told the same thing the system says. but it doesn't state anything if your read it closely. I hope they choke on the $100 if I had the time, I would picket the store. So Shady so crooked so full of it. I am filling with attorney general and FTC, and any other reliable sources. they should be forced to close their doors.The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

1 starI ordered my package from the childrens place like I have many times. The package states that it was delivered. However, I never received it. I contacted the carrier they said they were not able to locate the package and to go through the company. I reached out to the childrens place customer service, got hung up in speaking to a representative. Called back spoke to another representative, and he advised there is nothing the childrens place is willing to do. I called back and spoke to a manager named ********. She advised there was nothing they were willing to do. I asked nothing and asked for a higher up. She advised there was no one else. I don't believe that. There is always someone else. Then she started to play the game where she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. This is unacceptable and horrible customer service.Review fromMichele L

1 starThe worst location and this company dies not care how customers are treated. I waited in line got to the counter and the cashier flat out told me she was taking the customer behind me. I said I in front of you and my stuff is on the counter. I was told I was only there for 2 seconds. We argued back and forth. I went to the "manager" and she pretended to ring up my purchase then told my card was declined. As there was more than enough on the card I left. 1 starIm extremely upset with my recent experience. I had placed an order online and opted for a ship-to-store delivery. However, upon receiving my order, I found that I had been sent the wrong items.When I spoke to the manager at the store, I was told that I could not return the clothes to the store, even though I had purchased them from the childrens place. I was then advised to call customer service and ask for them to expedite my correct items to me. To my dismay, I was told by your customer service representative that I could not return the items to the store and that I would have to wait until childrens place received the incorrect items before issuing a refund.Not only did this inconvenience me, but it also made no sense to me. I had purchased the items from your store, so why was I not able to return them there? Furthermore, I was offered a measly $15 off my next purchase, which was not even close to the amount I had spent on my original order.To add insult to injury, the items I wanted were on sale when I purchased them, but they are now out of stock. I feel that your company has let me down in multiple ways, and I am extremely upset about it.I spent over $100 on my order, and I feel that your company has not only wasted my time and money, but also showed a complete lack of concern for my satisfaction as a customer. *** spent a lot on the ******************** and dont know that I will ever return.Review fromC. I ordered several different things when I received the package I was missing a pair of pants I contacted CP they said they sent me a replacement even sent me an email with the confirmation code etc and a month later they never came I called they offered me a refund on a paid off credit card and refused to send me another pair of pants I explained my card was paid off how is that going to resolve the situation and all I kept hearing is Im sorry I will never shop with them again customers dont come first they only care about their moneyThe Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

Its difficult to return item bought online. If you call the return phone line, it says they are busy and hangs up or that they are closed. Its very inconvenient to return to the store.The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.
