1 starTerrible customer service. Did not receive my item. Contacted Canada post because they gave a date a time that it was delivered, but a different package was deliver (not childrens place). They advices to contact childrens place. Childrens place said they will have to put a claim to Canada post and wait 14 days. I waited longer and followed up and childrens place place said they didnt receive so they have to put another claim through and I have to wait another 14 days. I begged for my money back and the guy can hear I was crying, they said no and I should send an email to customer care. So I sent an email about my case and I sent photos of the day and time and wrong package delivered. I called again the next day and spoke with a supervisor *******. She said she would personally help and call me back in 3-5 days. They gave me 30% off next purchase (but after this experience Id rather not order again). Canada post contacted me 3 days later and again I sent the story with photos of the wrong package. (What would have happened if I didnt have a camera with proof?) Waited another 5 business day still no call from *******, I called again and she said Canada post sent an email 2 days ago. so I asked her why she didnt call me back? Why am I calling so many times with proof and evidence that I did not receive my package and why am I still begging for my money back. Did they think I would forget because it been over a month and they can just take my money? So now Im waiting to see if my refund has been processed.Review fromKathy T

1 starHi. Unfortunately I have to file a complaint and not purchase from this store ever again. I made an online order on March 11, 2022. Then, via LaserShip/OnTrac and on the Children's Place page says my order was delivered but, I never received my order on March 21, 2022 and I don't usually have an issue with people taking my packages. I know my next door neighbor, fortunately. Today, March 27, 2022, I finally get to speak to an agent that was practically a waste of my time. They refused to give me a refund. My order cost $73.05. I was told that I have to either contact my bank to dispute the charges or contact the delivery company, that I still can't reach yet, to see if they can find my order. I asked what if the bank won't refund me and what if they can't find my package and The Children's Place told me that they couldn't help me. I would be out of $73.05 and no merchandise. If I could give 0 stars I would. I always say I love people who stand behind their product and they do not. I bought things online, no problem got it in good time. The shorts that I bought for my son were wayyy to big in the waist and length (compared to ******* same size). I knew that I would have to return in store, which is an hour away, got there and the store was closed. Took pictures online that said they were open so I called asking for help in returning (so I didnt have to pay 20 dollars in shipping, which in turn would NOT hurt their bottom dollar). They did NOT help me. I talked to a manager who was NOT kind, told me to just reverse the credit card charge and that Id still have to pay. I asked for corporates number which they did NOT give me and gave me a fake corporate email. So I got no response. Fine whatever I was waiting for the store to open so I could drive another hour to return. I kept calling to check before I returned, and then finally called the regular number to see if they could tell if the store was opened. Threatened to never shop there again and tell all my mom friends and finally got a free shipping label. Do yourself a favor and dont shop here, they dont care about you. Shop at ******* they even sell childrens place products.The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

I placed an online order with them on march 12 my items said it was delivered and a picture was taken on 03/17. However, my package was not on my porch. called ******-ship and filed a case called children's place customer service who by the way are very rude! and told them about it they said I needed to contact ******-ship which I already did. After the two business days, ******-ship closed the case and said it showed delivered its nothing we can do to contact the merchant. called children's back and spoke with a manager and they told me that I could not get a replacement or a refund cause they have a picture of it delivered. I said that is crazy that you would go by a picture when someone can take a picture show delivery and then take your package off the porch! I called the retail store and they told me that customers are coming in saying the same thing and that something needs to be done! I agree!something needs to be done immediately!!!!this needs to be fixed children's place. also its crazy that ppl are complaining about the same thing!The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

1 starI ordered online to have it shipped to my house I waited for the day it was supposed to come only to get a email it was delivered well I check the picture they took it wasn't my house they delivered it to so I called the shipper and let them know they said I would hear something in 2 days still haven't got a email or call back I messaged children's place told them what was going on I sent screen shots of the picture they sent that wasn't my home still never heard anything this will be the last time I order from themReview fromTracy T

I ordered on March 9 I did not get no updates and then all a sudden I get a email package has been shipped I did call on the 14 march to cancel order I was told I couldn't cancel it and on the 19 I was showing my package was delivered I did not receive any package called children place customers I was told to call *** or my bank and the representative lied to me in regards saying Its they policy they cannot ship a replacement or refund me and when I asked her I need to see were is it posted she had no answerThe Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc.

1 starOn 03/13/2023. I made an online order for my 6yr old daughter the children'splace.com . The first order for her, I had no issues, and the items are shipping out as I type this.My problem is on 3/14/2023, I made a second order for my son, $566 worth of clothing approximately 55 items. My card was charged, and then less than an hour later I received an email saying that my 3 year old son's order was cancelled by there system. I was behind annoyed because these items was for him to have clothes to wear at school. I called customer service, and the rep ****** that due to their online order system recognizing unfamiliar spending activity they cancelled order. It's funny because why didn't they refund.me my money?They told me the funds will be back on my card by 3/20/2023. I'll update you if it doesn't happened. I had to dispute with my bank, and they said the process will take up to 90 days for dispute to be settled and to recieve a credit, if the pending transaction settles itself in the next five days, the pending charge of $566 should drop off and I'll have access to my funds. **** WE'LL SEE.NOW i have no clothes for my baby boy and $566 less money to use, and have to wait up to 90 days to get.my funds back. The funny thing is one of my items I purchased was a Juneteenth clothing graphic tee, so who knows what really happened, or maybe a hateful person cancelled the items to spite me, but the jokes on them, because I'm not buying anything else online, I'll just have to go in the store.Review fromAmanda L

This store completely blew the guaranteed shipping date; now package will not arrive until far after the date and the event I needed these items for. The company will not offer me any resolution and is making me pay return shipping to send the items back even though I cannot use them since they arrived too late. I am appalled and disgusted with this company. My sister who is a new time mom was shopping with my nephew in the store. She contacted me so distraught, the audacity of the elderly woman in the store to ask my grown adult sister you sure you can afford this as she put her items on the counter. Excuse me? My sister called me distraught and not happy with this encounter this location is in ******** Village *************, Ive read plenty of reviews already from others claiming how racist they are in here, and low and behold my sister dealt with the same thing. And yes, my sister could afford it which is she she went and grabbed 5 more times to shut the lady up. Honestly, its disgusting the customer service and the ignorance this location holds. And the company doesnt care AT ALL. *** sent emails, I was told I would get a call back from a district manager and still nothing. Disgusting, and me and my family will no longer shop with The Childrens place and any of its affiliates ever again. Ignorant, rude and inhumane. And by reading these other reviews.
