      Yesterday, I went online and asked for a written quote from the company.Almost immediately, the company called me every 5 minutes and hung up when I didn't answer.I finally answered the phone and told the lady whom I spoke with to stop calling me.Then, a man named "*****" started the aggressive calling.I told him to take my name out of their system, and he hung up on me before I could say thank you.I sent 2 e-mails yesterday stating that I didn't appreciate their aggressive calling and asked never to be contacted again.Today, they have called many times - all using different phone numbers so I couldn't block the number.I sent another e-mail to never contact me again.Please contact their main headquarters and let them know that I will never buy their product and to take me off their calling list.

      I Was in the intent of purchasing solar panel i had the a solar representative in my from MOMENTUM SOLAR in my house on Oct 6 with ***************** midnight and finally came to an agreement on the price of , installation, and warranty so as good fate i gave a deposit 0f 5023.00 and on the next day they were going to send me the contract to sing and they did but i did not sing because it was not what we agreed on warranty was wrong and price. now trying to get my deposit it's been A nightmare till today 12/08/2022 still have not receive my deposit back.

      When the salesmen came to my house, he was knowledgeable and courteous. During his sales presentation, one of the things that he promised was Momentums policy, that if I needed to replace my roof within 10 years, they would remove and reinstall the panels once at no charge. I expected this as normal because I had met with other solar providers who offered the same. Seemed like a standard, nothing special, unless you ever need it and they dont make good on that. I dont have plans to replace my roof, but this is good to have. Installation went well, the crew was very good. I got concerned when I started reading reviews. I usually do that first, but not enough this time. I read complaints from dozens of people that were told the same thing as me and when they contacted momentum to have the panels removed, they refused. Told the people that they needed a coupon to do that. Something they were never told at the time of the sale. I had not received any such coupon myself, so, I got worried and figured Id better follow up. The first dozen or so times I contacted my salesman about it, he said, oh no problem, Ill have the office send that right away. Never came. Then, I began calling *******, the regional manager in **. he at first, says that they dont offer any such thing, knew nothing about it. After a half dozen or so more calls between ******* and my salesman, ******* said that while the salesman shouldnt have promised it, he would honor it. After months now, neither one is returning my texts or phone messages. Be very careful with these guys. There are other, better companies out there. Once you pay these guys, you have no leverage. There were other delays during the approval process due to momentum dropping the ball many times. But thanks to my persistence with eversource, the town and dozens of phone calls over several months, I got the system cleared to run. But, hope I dont need a roof!! Beware!

      We signed up for solar. Once we signed up there was nothing but issues. They installed the solar and didn't finish for several months then charged ** before it was turned on. They kept making excuses and said they would reimburse us. They never did. They continue to dodge our calls and give us the run around.

      I am rejecting this response because: our request for being compensated to what we feel is deserved and reasonable is not being met. We also were told that when signing up for our srecs we would have our account number quickly, later to be told that it would be at least 12 weeks and if momentum solar did anything incorrect it would be an additional 12 weeks of waiting. We are requesting to be compensated the amounts of our electric bills during the timeframe that we were under the impression our system was up and working from August to October (our app was showing solar being produced only later to find out it wasnt), in addition to what is already owed to us which is 3 payments of srecs from momentum solar and 2 additional months of solar payments which we were told already we will receive. Our solar panels were put on in May 2022, and now it is almost January 2023 and we are still dealing with back-and-forth from this company. They only started communicating again with us consistently once we filed this complaint. The only additional thing we are requesting due to all these inconveniences and miscommunications  is compensation for the amount of our electric bills from August to October, which we have screenshots that our system showed we were producing during this time without it being active which we didnt find out until months later. We have been told that this has never happened with the app showing energy being produced consistently and it not being turned on, as well as now being told that it was unheard of that it takes 12 weeks to get the information we need to sell our energy as if we are the only clients of momentum to be going through this and this news is new. This is something we feel is fair to request due to all of the circumstances and we hope that Momentum Solar will make it right with how long we have been waiting now.

We havent heard back from *** in escalations since we responded to him on Tuesday January 17 (he reached out on Thursday the 12th). Our panels have been on our roof since May of last year and we still are dealing with these back and forth conversations with momentum solar and feeling as if they dont truly care or understand the stress we have had since deciding  to go through with solar through them.

      In Dec 2016 I was approached by a sales representative (*********************) from Momentum Solar who was soliciting new customers to lease roof-top solar systems. The representative came to my home on three occasions to discuss the lease arrangement. My primary concern at the time centered on the expected life of my extant roof. I was assured repeatedly by the representative that it was Momentum Solar's policy and responsibility to temporarily remove any solar system they had installed once during the period of the lease to allow for roof repair or replacement. The representative insisted that this was an ordinary and necessary provision of their business. I entered into a 25 year lease based on these representations of Momentum's services. Now in 2022, as expected, I need to replace my roof. When I contacted Momentum Solar to request the temporary removal of my system, I was told by their customer service that, yes, Momentum does remove systems and that, yes, the sales people often suggest this to customers, but that Momentum maintains a "very strict" policy that the customer must present a "warranty" or "certificate" to be redeemed for the service. At the time of sale, the Momentum representative never once mentioned a specific "warranty," nor a "certificate," nor a coupon, nor any such item. Was I wrong to accept Momentum's representation of their services? Did the sales representative misrepresent Momentum's policy? Has Momentum changed their policy in the interval? I regret that I do not know and that the only concession offered by Momentum's customer service has been to allow me to pay for the temporary removal of the system out of pocket.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Momentum Solar did, as they state, contact me by phone. All the same, they did not address any part of my grievance. They do not acknowledge or address the misstatements made by the their representative and simply reiterate that without "documentation" they have no interest in discussing much less honoring the representations made by their agent. I did not pursue their avoidance of the issue with Momentum's representative on the phone since I have no reason to confide in any verbal representations they make. Momentum has taught me that their words are empty in the absence of substantiating "documentation."

      The contract they are offering me (at a cost to me of ~$3700), to add insult to injury, includes a) a forced arbitration clause, and b) the outlandish clause that "TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE US FROM ALL LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT." I cannot imagine signing away to Momentum the right to "willful misconduct" without consequence. When I raised these two concerns on the phone, I was verbally assured that Momentum's legal department feels I have nothing to worry about. It has become very clear to me that no consumer should engage in business with Momentum Solar without first retaining the counsel of a contract lawyer. 

      My grievance, so far as I am concerned, stands.

      My initial complaint-- that I was willfully mislead by Momentum's sales representative-- remains outstanding. It is clear to me now, however, that Momentum has no intention of acknowledging or remedying the situation. They might take notice that several other solar companies have been found responsible for misleading sales practices in ********** through class actions. I, for one, will do no more business with Momentum and mostly strong recommend that other consumers think twice before engaging them.

      I have leaking from a solar s**** to my ceilings and a wall. A roofer took a video of a rusted solar s**** letting water through the roof while it rains. I now have a water remediation company working because the ceilings need replaced and mold is covering the wood in the attic. They have had dehumidifiers in my house for the last 2 weeks. The insulation is ruined with mold. I have 8 leaks in my ceiling. I have called momentum solar for 3 weeks now and have had no one call back! I just started calling the sales department, the only department answering a phone, and when I explain that I need someone to plug up the hole around the s**** they transfer me back to the recorder where you wait for hours and then I hang up because no one answers a phone. Momentum promised a one time that they would remove the panels for a new roof so I know that is not going to happen now because the don't even care to send someone to plug up the hole that they caused in a Million Dollar Home in ****** Ranch! Please help!

A roofer went to the home on 12/6 to assess the damage, and found that the roof leak happened during the hurricane and was not solar related. There were broken tiles and underlying issues underneath the tiles. We let the customer know that the issue is not solar related, and showed the photos that were taken during the assessment.

      On July 1st of 2022 the sales person ********************* and I agreed that Momentum will give me two things if I signed up immediately. One of them, was a rebate check for $2500.00 Which I have not received (it has been roughly 60+ days after the installation). The other one was, he promised me $75 for each referral I sent his way, whether or not they signed up. As long as he talked to my referrals, I would get the $75. My wife and I agreed to signed the contract and not cancel it given what the company offered. I have been calling Momentum Solar for the past 45 days. They continue to tell me that the check for $2650.00 is in process, but nothing else happens. I just called today and was told the same thing. This company should not be promising on things they can't deliver. My wife and I as new customers decided to go with momentum due to this credit they offered (total of $2650.00).

      I have called - emailed - and my system is still not operating. What does it take to get the team to complete a job? I have had over 30 microinverter inoperable since the installation months ago. Where is the service? The person in customer service does get back to me only to say that they have not heard back from the team that is supposed to do the work. I was told that the microinverters would be fixed when the batteries were installed and that did not happen. I am so disappointed. I thought working with a local team things would be better. I also had a power wall installed that was not turned on. The last communication was from ************************************* on 10/26 and she was about battery material but I was told that the batteries just needed to be commissioned. She also mentioned that she put a request into the supervisor to call me but I have not heard anything. This is very disappointing especially since a number of my neighbors have asked my about your service as they know I recommend a lot in our neighborhood chat and I have not said anything. There are over 30 that are not working this has been since installation over 3 months ago. Also, when does my power wall get turned on. My batteries have been installed but not commissioned. I keep asking how long does that take an no one answers that question.

      I have been contacting Momentum solar since 10/10/22 since they need to reinstall our solar panels, after calling them about 8 times in different occasions and waiting for about an hour for them to answer the call they finally give me schedule to re install our solar panels on Nov. 8 but the crews arrived around 4 pm and didnt do anything, i spoke to them asked if they can still install it since its already late and they said that they will just come back next week to do the re installation but until now they didnt come back, i call again last week but the customer service rep said that they dont know the date, their customer service and crews are good in giving promises/lies but theyre not doing it. I hope BBB can help me resolve my issue with this company.

      I had solar installed on my house by Momentum Solar out of **********. I signed the contract on 5/9/2022. They came to install it and put the wrong amount of panels on. I argued with them on numerous occasions about the number stated in the sales agreement versus the number installed to no avail. They tried to say that I was wrong regarding the sales agreement. Because of the discrepancy in the number of panels they had submitted to the city, it failed inspection. They came back and added the panel that was in the original agreement and finally passed the inspection. The installers for the solar installation were fast and very good but no one spoke sufficient English to answer questions. Then the electricians came. They started the job, complaining about what the solar guys did. They had to do a complete breaker panel replacement and added two subpanels. They didn't have the correct ones and had to go purchase two at Lowes. this then passed inspection.Note: don't believe anything anyone tells you from the company. I was advised that the solar equipment would be placed in the garage by the electrical panel. I spent around $400 preparing the walls with plywood and cement board for the equipment. When solar came out they would not put it in the garage. They said it had to be mounted outside and would not install it where I wanted and where their inspector said it would go. When I call their office the wait times vary from 15 min to 30 min. I just got off a 1-hour long on-hold wait time today (11/28/2022.) They make appointments and then no one shows up. You ask for callbacks and no one calls back. You can't get past the answering service which is staffed by people working from home, not at the company office. I have no problem with that if you could get someone to answer in a timely manner, and get your questions addressed. To date, the system is still not operational.After spending $42,000 on a solar system from Momentum Solar, I would NEVER recommend COMPANY

       I ve been promised someone to come out and show me how my system works and what i need to do with failures which i already had one and could get no one for help at the time I also was promised twice the 400$ i spent in the garage for sight build that i did for  installation of equipment per their pre sight installation individual and then told they wouldn't install where they told me it was going. i've emailed and called they have called and promised someone would be out and know one showed up or returns calls as usual I'm not up set with their work just the exaction of how they do business I woulsd plead with you for your help in settling this.
