I wish I had done a thorough review on this company prior to attempting to do business with them. If it wasn't for the contract expiring I would without a doubt be worse off than where I am now. Momentum Solar are liars, they have no ethics or morals. Its a shame no one has sued them yet and surprised their company hasn't tanked. If I can give them 0 stars I would.I signed a contract with them October of 2022 and contract expired May 2023- In all that time they were not able to complete the project (7 entire months.) I barely received any follow *** (momentum taking initiative) in between that time frame. When I attempted to get through for a status it took multiple calls and the excuses were "pending permit", "We will get back to you." At the time when the contract expired they had advised the financing company the project was complete and I was supposed to make my first payment. I was baffled because up to that point only the racks were placed on the roof. Momentum had lied. Why? It was not clear then but it is now- they were going to scam me into paying a loan on a service they had no interest in fulfilling. Luckily I am not bound to a contract given it expired but Momentum proceeded with placing a lien on my home for the racks the following month in June of 2023....$9,000 lien for racks that are not doing anything on my roof. Racks that are useless without panels.... I am livid and will consult an attorney. I would rather pay an attorney $9k and take my chances in court than to pay Momentum. Based on the consistent negative reviews I see I am not the only one being screwed over. The audacity of Momentum to do s***** work, have no integrity, and the arrogance to be entitled is insane. They can come get their racks for all I care. This has cost me undue stress and I never write reviews. My hope is that anyone reading this and considering Momentum- run! Stay far away from them. If this has taught me anything it is to do my due diligence moving forward.Momentum Solar

Although I eventually decided against going solar due to reasons unrelated to Momentum, I did appreciate the time and effort put forth by ******** with the Care Team. She spent hours making sure all my questions were answered. She did a great job and I would recommend her to anyone looking to instal solar with Momentum.Momentum Solar

I got solar panels for my multi units house (3 units) back at the begining of 2023. I told the sales rep and the technical people who designed and installed the solar panels that I need all my tenants to use the solar panels. I was told that they could have all panels to be connected to my meter living in one unit and I could distribute the electricity to my tenants. After they installed the solar panels I found out that is not the case. I was told by National Grid I could transfer the money to my tenants NOT the electricity and I was told that Momentum Solar company needs to redesign the system and install the panels on each meter for all 3 units.I contacted Momentum company for about 6 months on and off and gave them time to correct this wrong design but nobody cares to contact me so far. I am very disappointed that they do not want to come back and correct their desin and so far I have more than $2500 credit on my electricity bill!I am trying to bring them back to correct it otherwise I need to get a lawyer to handle this case and ask for compensation.Momentum Solar

The Momentum Solar of ** job performance is a pinnacle of excellence considering quick time and quality for execution, despite of the winter and unusual weather condition. Initiation for my PROGECT despite of my skepticism was done flawlessly by the Solar Specialist ******************************* and ********* ************************* who are equalized all differences between ** and ** rules & regulations. Intelligent and polite workers supervised by ************* ***************************** were dedicated to the final goal to finish job even before a CONTRACT time. Communication was lighting fast, convenient and highly professional. Harassing calls. This company calls repeatedly. Spoke to a salesperson - told him I was not interested, as I was told by HIS company Momentum the year before that my home was not a good candidate for solar power due to a dormer window on my roof. They would only be able to put a limited number of panels, and that did not suit my needs, or help my electricity budget in anyway. Despite this their salesperson made an appointment for me regardless without my knowledge for the following Monday, even though I clearly told him no. Saturday, and Sunday I kept getting calls without messages from a mysterious number. I looked up the number it started with area code 917, and had no info. It was about 15 calls total. I would block the number as I do not pick up numbers that I do not know, this person was calling repeatedly, and not leaving messages. Despite blocking the number they would call back with a similar number over and over. If you called it back, it would not go through. Monday, they called 3 times before 11am. Finally, a message was left saying - this is ****** from solar. I was calling to confirm your appointment for 5 o'clock this evening. Please give us a call at a 732 number - totally different from the number they were calling from all weekend. I called the number spoke to a rude woman I'm assuming to be ******, explained that I never made an appointment and I don't understand why they were repeatedly calling. She says it's their policy when there is an appointment. I told her I never made an appointment. She begins lecturing me on a Do Not Call Lists, and how I can be put on one - and I should have requested it. I said, if you are calling from mysterious numbers and not leaving messages how would that work? I also said, I never made an appointment yet your salesperson decided to sign me up anyway, what kind of business practices are that? She hung up on me. So, why on earth would I ever work with a company like this? Harassing, and rude.Momentum Solar

********** in Customer Care has been an exceptional resource. He has helped to get all my questions answered timely and accurately. He always returned calls promptly.He was able to navigate my process from lease to a buy out option in order to keep the process going. He was confident in ensuring the rebate would be applied and had updated paperwork to reflect the rebate sent to me for my signature. It was a pleasure working with **** to ensure that everything I needed I had and he was able to walk me through details that I wasnt sure how to complete.Momentum Solar

Sales person was fine, but since meeting with him *** received a call three days in a row asking me the same survey questions and attempting to schedule another face-to-face meeting. Calls 2 and 3, i politely told them I had already received a survey call and answered all their questions. Ive asked to be removed from their daily call list. Ive also called and left a message for my sales rep. ****** is enough, guys.Momentum Solar
