      Momentumm Solar out of New Jersey is the worst company please review everything if you are going with there company they harrass you they lie and cheat the system they told me to sign a contract so we dont loose my plan I did I cancel it 2 weeks into it the company said it was cancelled and today I get a call the installation team is at my house slapping solar panels up ! I had no choice cause I signed an increment otherwise pay thousand of dollars to get out of it

      Please do your research before choosing momentum!!! I need to replace my roof and contacted momentum to remove and reinstall panels, they quoted me $3800!!! that's almost half what my roof replacement will cost. I specifically asked the representative and the person who was in charge of her, what if I have to replace my roof in time is that covered or is there a fee? she said yes you just call them and let them know they will schedule it to be removed and installed once you are finished. It was my mistake not to get it in writing, but don't trust this company or its salespeople. If I could go back in time, I would not do business with them nor refer anyone to them! I will be filing a formal complaint against this company, no way that BBB rating is correct with the business tactics they use.

      This company is the worst hands down. I had a tornado damage my house 6 weeks back, and I need to get my roof fixed. I keep calling trying to get the solar panels removed but ***** time I call I keep getting told there is an estimate being made. Every time it rains here, I get more damage to the house but this company will not even call you back. When I got the solar panels installed, I was told I would get one free removal and installation incase I ever needed a new roof.

      We were told by our sales person the we would recieve 1 free remove and replace in the case that we need to replace our repair our roof -which was not honored I was told the sales person should have given us a coupon (???) how ever they would remove the panels and replace the Solar Panels for a discounted rate of ******* with 50% up front (*******) deposit that they would work with our roofers and had a scheduled date no later than two weeks from the time of the deposit which was 3 weeks ago -meanwhile I have a very damaged roof and am endanger of having my home owners policy non renewed.When I call in to get updates no one has any idea of when they can come out to complete the work we paid up front for I am now looking at legal remiedies since I have zero faith this company.

      Worst customer service and workmanship from this company, buyers beware. We had roofing, siding, and s olar panels installed from this company. However, it took almost a year to complete the work and the contractors this company hired, we had to fire the first set of contractors for doing things they should not have. Examples include, removing the old siding we had and selling for a profit; coming to working - high, and getting high while at work; going to the bathroom outside of our property; horse playing on the roof; leaving nails all over the ground. After the work was finally completed from the 2nd contractors they hired left damages to our house - missing window screens, broken patio furniture, and oil stains on our driveway from them parking their van on it and it leaking oil.Finally, we had this work completed a few years prior and they had done some warranty work, but while working on the warranty work cracked the siding and didn't properly fix the leak that's been happening on our roof, so now we have to hire another company to fix the damages this company caused.I would never reommend a company like this. They do not care about their customers and pretty much tell you to s**** yourself once you've signed the contract and taken your money.

      Subject: Complaint Regarding Employee Conduct Dear Momentum Solar Customer Service,I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the conduct of one of your employees who was working at my next-door neighbor's house on 6/12/2024.The employee in question parked his vehicle in front of my home, blocking access to two of my vehicles. Despite my polite requests for him to move the vehicle, he refused. This behavior caused significant inconvenience and prevented me from using my vehicles as needed. Furthermore, during our interaction, the employee implied a threat by mentioning that my culvert-covering bridge was illegal. This comment was not only unwarranted but also felt like an attempt to intimidate me, which I find highly unprofessional and unacceptable.I am deeply concerned by this experience and expect your immediate attention to this matter. It is crucial that your employees conduct themselves respectfully and professionally, not only towards your customers but also towards the neighbors and community members affected by their work.I request that you address this incident promptly and take appropriate action to prevent such behavior in the future. I also expect a follow-up on how this situation will be rectified.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

      I think Momentum is the absolute worse! I have had Momentum since October 2021. I was very enthused to have a solar company and my electric bill reduced. I reached out to Momentum and told them that I have squirrels nesting in my panel. They quoted me $600 to place critter guards on my roof. I wish they had told me about critter guards when I initially allowed the panels on my roof. I cannot afford $600 to place critter guards on my roof after the fact. So now I have a bunch of squirrels running around outside my home and living in the panels. They got into my basement and also began nesting there. I had to pay almost $900 for pest control to catch the squirrels. Then, my gateway has not been reporting to my electric company, so I have had exorbitant bills all year. I contacted Momentum for them to come and see what the problem is. They charged me $450 for coming to my home to check the gateway because my warranty is up, according to them, although, their equipment is malfunctioning. To add insult to injury, they do not have any appointments until June 24th. I currently own another home, but I would never give them any additional business!

      I can tell is the WORST **************** Experience EVER!This was my 2nd time needing service on my system sold and installed by Momentum Solar.First time was under warranty, and it took several weeks to get the service scheduled and finally replacing the Enphase inverter that was Dead for who know how long since their system would not signal the fault besides loss of communication in their APP.After the replacement in late Jan 2024, system worked fine until end of April several fault lights came on. Calle in for support and their technical team took several days to diagnose (remotely) we needed parts.I had to call back and got the answer we needed to pay the invoice of $400 before we could schedule service.After almost a week calling the invoice finally was sent, paid same day and next day I called in to schedule service. They asked for the payment receipt (paid online from heir own link). sent that and had to call the next day to schedule a tech....3 weeks later for 5/21. They were going to call to confirm the time but never did.Until 5/21 nobody called to confirm schedule, no call no show.On 5/22 morning I called asking about the service and was informed they would check and get back with me....no call back. On 5/23 called back asking about my already prepaid service and after a couple people went through, they informed they had an emergency on 5/21 and the tech was routed to this other call and someone would get back with me to reschedule....never called.Called Again later in the day and was told 5/28 and they would call me to confirm the time.5/30 still no call back to confirm any schedule or attempt to explain why another no show on 5/28...Talk about lack of customer focus... not even to get back with an email or some sort of plan to reschedule...after almost a month from the payment....not sure when the tech will be schedule at this point...

      Amazing experience since day one! Everything they promised was just how it was, My electric bill is much much lower than what I was paying a steady lower payment for my Solar. Customer service was great always there for me. Any questions I had and the whole process for installation was smooth sailing around across the country.
