I contracted with Dreamstyle Remodeling in early October of 2024 for cabinet refacing. The project was to be completed by mid-December 2024. Things went south by late December 2024 when I contacted Dreamstyle remodeling to inquire about the status of our project since I had not heard from them and they were now past due. I learned through that conversation that they had not even placed the materials on order! Dreamstyle ensured that they would expedite my order but now the project would not be completed until the last week of March. I reluctantly agreed, but told them that they could not go past that date otherwise I would have to cancel the order. By mid-March Dreamstyle contacted me again to tell me that they needed to double check measurements. I allowed them to come over to retake measurements. I suspected something was wrong and told them that they had to keep to their latest commitment. Unfortunately, they pushed out again with materials not shipping until early April and install now to mid-April. At this point they have lost my trust and I feel they are incapable of finishing the project. My feeling is if they can't place orders or measure correctly, how in the world would I trust them to come into my home to do an install. All along the way communication has been poor and at this point I just want my money back.Business Response

We purchased cabinets from Dreamstyle and was told our cabinets were in and scheduled an installation to occur in October 21st and when no one showed we were told there was a mistake and that our cabinets were not in. Three weeks later living in disarray our cabinets were installed on November 14th. However, one of our cabinets were mismeasured, the trash receptacle was the wrong one, and the face of the trash cabinet was faded. December 18th the mismeasured cabinet came in and the trash receptacle was replaced. I was told the trash cabinet was on order and would be in at the end of January. I called numerous times and texted **** with no response and finally when I did a get a hold of him I was told ** would call me and get me on the calendar. Here it is April 2nd no call from **. I called DreamStyle and left a message for warranty; however, again no return call. I've called **** no return call. My husband has left messages as well for Dreamstyle managers and again no return call. Very poor communication from this company and service. Looks like I will have to seek legal recourse to get the trash cabinet fixed.Business Response

I contracted with Dreamstyle LLC to replace and install a new shower unit complete with plumbing fixtures in my main bathroom in April of 2024. There was supposed to be a lifetime warranty for the work done. In March of 2025 the shower fixture began to leak and was constantly dripping and wasting water. I contacted the Colorado office for Dreamstyle and spoke to ****, the installation manager. He told me they would get back to me which they never did. I left several additional voice mails after that that were never returned. I then reached out to the sales rep who sold me the package and sent her the information about my request for a repair and was told someone would contact me soon - which they never did.
Because the fixture was leaking continuously, I finally called a local plumber to fix the problem so as to stop wasting water. I paid for the repair and sent a copy of the invoice to the above referenced sales person for resolution. I have not heard anything and like others on this site, am being ghosted by the company. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the repair under their “lifetime warranty”.Business Response

We contracted with Dreamstyle LLC to remove an existing bathtub and shower and replace with a larger shower in our master bath. We were told by the salesman ******* ********** that they have a team of two company contractors that are experts at all aspects of the work and would preform the construction and plumbing aspects of the project with no subcontractors in one to two days. ******* ********** and his helper arrived on March 24, 2025 to do the work at 9:00 am and completed the work at around 7:00 pm. We signed of on the work for the shower. After they left, we discovered that the master bath toilet no longer had a functioning water line. When terminating the water lines for the tub, ******* also terminated the water line to the toilet. The work was done in the slab and once the lines to the tub were terminated, the slab was refilled with concrete and the shower pan and walls installed on top.
The shower install was done as expected and we signed off on the work for the shower. We like the shower. What we did not expect was the lack of plumbing expertise and the termination of the water line to our master bath toilet. This work was hidden from us until the workers left and we were able to use our bathroom toilet again.
We contacted customer service at 8:00 am on Tuesday March 25, 2025 and explained our problem. Customer service created case * ***** and gave us the phone number for ****** ********* the warranty manager. We called his number ************ ext *** immediately. ****** did not answer and we left a detailed message. ******** voicemail stated we would receive a call back within 24-48 hours. We did not hear back from ******. We called again at 1:00 pm on March 25th and again the next day with no response. It has now been 6 business days with no response to a critical issue (we are elderly and no longer have a functioning toilet in our master bath).Business Response

We called back today 4/29/2025 to the main number and left a message for **** at 8:18 am and again at 9:34 am. We have not received a call back from them.This matter remains unresolved and we have not been able to speak to anyone at Dreamstyle after many attempts to reach them.

On November 18, 2024, we engaged with a sales representative from Dreamstyle who provided us with a proposal for remodeling the showers in two of our bathrooms. The estimate from Dreamstyle was significantly higher than that of our contractor, amounting to $27,000 compared to $8,500.
Dreamstyle assured us that the work would be completed in one day per shower, while our contractor estimated a two-week timeline. Prioritizing a quicker resolution, we opted to pay the higher price. Dreamstyle commenced work on the first bathroom on December 16, completing it in a single day as promised. However, when they began the second bathroom on December 17, they made an error in measuring the door, which led to an apology and a subsequent delay of one week due to the holiday season.
Since then, I have had to persistently urge Dreamstyle to advance the project, and they have mismeasured the door five times. As of March 20, 2025, I have not received any communication from Dreamstyle's leadership or operations despite numerous attempts to reach out to individuals including ******* ****** ********** ***** **** *** ***** **. The customer service line merely redirects me back to the same contacts.
Our primary bathroom shower remains incomplete, and I am extremely frustrated with Dreamstyle's lack of communication and service, especially as a repeat customer who previously spent $50,000 on two patios and a hot tub in 2019. This experience has led me to conclude that I will not engage with this company again.
However, I need this job complete. ****** with Dreamstyle mentioned that they will reimburse when the job is completed. There has not been any further communication and would like to be done with this.Business Response

Dreamstyle Remodeling renovated 2 showers in my home. The purchase included a LIFETIME warranty. My renovations were done May 2019. I called on 2/25/25 to request some warranty work be done. I had to leave a message for a call back from the "warranty coordinator" and should receive a return call within 24 hours. No call back, so I called again on 2/27, left another message. I have made 7 calls with no response. The latest call was made this morning, I was left on hold for 39 minutes then the call was disconnected. This complaint is regarding the failure of DREAMSTYLE Remodeling to adhere to the LIFETIME WARRANTY. I'm just looking for a response and have them schedule and COMPLETE the repairs that are needed.Business Response

In April 2023, Dreamstyle Remodeling replaced our master bath shower; with a lifetime warranty for defects. We have been trying since December 30, 2024 to have a warranty repair completed on our shower door (online claim filed at 7:29am on 12/30/2024). The shower door makes a loud noise when opening as the hinge is hitting the side panel. It needs to be attended to. We filed an initial claim with Dreamstyle on 12/30/2024.
After several follow-up calls. JT from Dreamstyle came out in January and began working with the glass door manufacturer on a fix – said they would have to replace a glass piece on the door; we texted 1-27 (he called us back after this text and said he was still working on it); we texted again 2-12, 2-17, 2-22; no reply The number we were texting was ###-###-#### – JT has ghosted us.
We have called Dreamstyle back 4 more times since 2/17/2025 at various numbers (###-###-####, ###-###-####, ###-###-#### and ###-###-####) and no one is helping us. We are constantly told that the claim is being expedited and that someone will call us back "that day". and not one does. We are very frustrated and need this fixed.Business Response

Signed a contract to have master bathroom remodeled. After starting work, several changes had to be made due to unforeseen plumbing issues, and our preference for glass shower door could not be accommodated. Change order was made and signed, which increased the glass door alone to over $3000! However when the glass installer came to measure, he said the change in shower door could not be accommodated due to the weight of the glass and not being able to install the original bench seat as in the quote. We were told that another change order would be done to change the cost back to the original bid. Numerous calls to the company went unanswered, and our acccount has yet to show any price adjustment for the 3,303.46 shower door that was NOT installed. Furthermore, at the time of us signing the contract with **** ****** at Dreamstyle repeatedly told us we could pay off the bill with our ******* *** Card and get miles for using that card. When I went into Service Financial to set up payments, a check or bank draft is the only payment option. The entire process has been a huge disappointment, delays, changes we were not expecting, false representations, etc. Husband finally talked with someone and said a check would be sent. That was months ago. We want the $3303.46 price adjustment on our account, or check refund of that amount, as well as and any help allowing us to pay with our ******* *** Card.Business Response

The refund was mailed to the customers AZ address they had on file- we corrected to the CO address and a refund was processed.
The increase of $3,303.46 was for the projected costs associated with building a bench, resizing the new pan, and changing the glass wall to a Matrixx glass door.
The change order for the refund is in the amount of $1,837.97. This refund is due to complications encountered during the installation process, which required the removal of the bench and the switch to two pony walls, with the glass being changed to a fixed panel in clear glass.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:IF we accept a monetary settlement, (which I feel should not be less than $2,500 since we never received or signed a change order for the shower glass fiasco), I do not want Dreamstyle to be able to clear this complaint like it never existed. Other consumers should be made aware of these concerns so they don’t have to deal with the issues we have.
The company would not have any documentation (photos of finished project) if I had not provided them. We received no copies of change orders, etc., and after the fact they want to negotiate the final price, which verbally we understood would be changed back to the original quote after the shower glass problems.
A major disappointment for us was that our sales person, ****** ******, was the one who brought up the option to pay Service Finance with our mileage earning credit card, which proved not to be the case even after she assured us that we could use this method of payment numerous times. We were looking forward to a nice vacation with all the miles we could have earned. In fact, this was a major selling point for us, and our sales person is who falsely brought up this option.
All in all, our experience has been a complete lack of customer service. Calls not returned, transferred to voice mail whose mailbox was already full, etc. The workers were great, but the sales and project management was TERRIBLE.
In addition, we gave Dreamstyle our new address several times so again, customer service failed to update our account.Regards,

Father was billed for job and passed away days later. Contract is under his phone number ###-###-####. No work was started. Looking to get refund. Have now spent 2 days on hold, being transferred to voicemail boxes and waiting call backs. Multiple times they have transferred me to phone tree that just disconnects after selecting an option. Start of project: art studio/office addition - 11/30/2018
Completion of project: 3/15/2020 – final payment
Warranty: There is a five-year warranty on the project per contract.
Nature of dispute: Failure to complete warranty issues in a timely manner.
Specifics of dispute:
-March 2024: noticed studio addition wall to right of Mini split had water damage.
-Noticed thick, sticky fluid (refrigerant) had seeped from the new addition wall to Saltillo floor in connecting room (kitchen). We repeatedly called Dreamstyle’s warranty line to determine the cause & fix issues.
-Leak on roof caused water damage on addition wall; Roof area sealed. They held off on repairing the water damaged wall until the thick fluid issue was resolved. I had repeatedly mentioned that I thought it was coming from the Mini split.
-Mini split company contacted by Dreamstyle to determine issue. Workers determined drainpipe for Mini split had been left in wall, not routed to the outside wall. They fixed it on a fourth visit on January 17, 2025.
January 7, 9, 14, 15, 28, 2025, called Dreamstyle and left message for:
• Replace drywall and paint wall that had water damage
• Repair/replace drywall where cuts in wall were made by Mini split repair person and paint

• Clean up the sticky refrigerant that runs across my kitchen floor.
Both myself and my partner, *** *******, made calls to Dreamstyle. Starting January 31, 2025, an employee named Manuel would put us on hold and no one ever got back on the line for 20 – 60 minutes. It would just roll to voice answering, finally.
Business’ effort to rectify the situation: Dreamstyle has been extremely slow to assess the situation, get the Dreamstyle/contractors to come out/approve the work needed. They have not completed the warranty work brought to their attention March 2024 and starting January 31, 2025, they are putting us on indefinite hold and never returning our calls.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Dreamstyle failed to clean up the improperly installed Mini split system's refrigerate that drained across the Saltillo kitchen floor. The Mini split system drain was corrected to drain outside the home and not inside the wall. When I spoke with Lonnie at Dreamstyle, I specifically mentioned the need to properly clean up the refrigerant.I have called the assigned contact at Dreamstyle , Dustin, at least two additional times to request cleanup of the refrigerate.
