I purchased 13 windows and a door with a lifetime warranty a little over a year ago. When they installed the front door they had to cut my house to make it fit and did not install a header board. I said something at the time of install and was told it did not need one. I said it would buckle with nothing to hold on to and again was told it would not and is fine. Well now it's buckling. I have called 4 times over the last 2 months. I am left on hold for 30 min to an hour listening to "we know absence makes the heart grow fonder however we have left you on hold for to long" when they finally come back on the line I am told Michael G**** will call me back in 24 hours. I have not received any communication from him or anyone else from Dream Style. They said they only have record of 2 calls to them but my phone log says different. I was promised service and repairs. That everything is covered under a transferable warranty. I can't even get a call back. I want my front door installed correctly and the promise or sales pitch honored. The absence has not made my heart grow fonder at all.Business Response

Contract signed 9/6/2024 to have new front entry door with glass and storm door installed on our home. Total contract was in amount of $8,848.00 of which down payment of $4,424.00 was made. On 11/18/2024 we contacted Dreamstyle and spoke to Sassy in regard to install date which they had a 18-week window, no answers could be given so a Case # ******** was started, and we would have an answer in 24hours to this date no answer. In meantime we learned our salesman **** ********* left company. The only reason we found this out was he is a friend of my sister due to marriage and she told us he left the company. We called one more time 11/29/2024 and spoke to **** who said she would escalate the issue and had the same result no call back.
It is now 2/17/2025 we sent certified letter to Dreamstyle and they received it 2/14/2025 at 12:29 pm. Thus, we are requesting our full down payment returned and will not pay any fees they may dream up as they did not fulfill the contract. We have been patient in this situation, but enough is enough. I hired Dreamstyle Remodeling to reface my kitchen cabinets. The new product was supposed to have grooves for my fingers to open the doors and drawers instead of handles. The installer came on January 9, 2025 and started work. The new pieces did not have the grooves and the order showed I did not have any handle options. The installer made several phone calls and offered me a choice of starting over (which would take weeks/months) or I could get a $500 credit, buy my own handles at any home supply place and have Dreamstyle come out to install the handles. I chose the 2nd option and bought handles for the cabinets that weekend. I called Dreamstyle on January 13 to get an appointment. I was told someone would call me back. No one has called me back and I have called them an additional 10 times since then. Several times, I have been disconnected after being on hold sometimes for as long as a half hour. I call back and get no resolution. No one ever calls me back...they just keep promising a supervisor will get back to me. I have never gotten the $500 credit ...but more importantly to me, I have trouble opening the drawers and doors because there are no handles or grooves for my fingers to get into. I want a supervisor to call me and acknowledge the problem and provide some type of resolution. They caused this issue by not doing what was originally ordered and then by promising something that they are now ignoring.Business Response

Dreamstyle did the stucco on my home a year ago. An issue has come up with the stucco. I have called ************ and left messages. No one returns my call. I called 1/21/25 and 1/24/2025, the phone rings and rings and then goes to voicemail for a person named *******. That's what the name sounds like. On 1/27/2025, I put in a service request through the website, still no one contacted me. On 2/3/2025 I called the number on the website ************, ******* answered and transferred me to the service department. I was on hold for 20 minutes before I had to hang up.
After the job was done I was told I would receive $200 and my neighbor would receive $200, because of a referral program Dreamstyle had. Called several times for that and nothing, called the agent that helped us and he didn't do anything about it either, so I just gave up on that. Dreamstyle gave excellent service before and during the process of my stucco being done. But after the job and Dreamstyle gets their money, they are done with you and don't exist. I will never go through Dreamstyle again.Business Response

Remodel shower in 2 days, I picked a particular style with matching shower base, they started to install shower and put white base instead of matching base, they told me that's what I ordered, so I contacted salesman who confirmed I was correct. Installer told me it would be 2 weeks to 2 months to order a matching base, after Christmas I tried to get hold of someone and am getting the run around.Business Response

Warranty service visit 10/7/24, a garage door needed to be replaced per employee. Multiple attempt s to contact Dreamstyle for status. Warranty Coordinator stated on 12/17/24 door was ordered 10/10/24 and would follow up with Procurement and call back. Multiple attempts in Jan 2025 to contact for status. I am rejecting this response because:
As I have already stated more than once, I no longer want to deal with this business due to their complete lack of customer service and professionalism. I have requested a refund for the door rather than replacement 3 times now via this portal (as I never get responses when I contact the business) and all I get are voicemails from people who behave as though I have not opened this complaint and I'm just a happy customer. Talk about making your customer feel like nothing.To be perfectly clear, no response from the business other than refund for the door is acceptable to me as this behavior is just more of the same I received from them during installation and follow ups to correct their deficiencies.

I found DREAMSTYLE REMODELING OF CALIFORNIA LLC (995160) at Costco. I was looking to have my 81 year old mom shower updated to give a better access, so I decided to meet w/ Dreamstyle representative thinking will be a trustworthy company, as I belief Costco allows trustworthy companies offer services to their customers. I met with a representative in February 2024 and decided to go forward with the project even thought I taught it was TOO MUCH. Well, the final project shower project just got finished on January 2025, almost a year. The representative way over charged the project, and lied about permits. Not once told me permits will be needed. I have talked to many different representatives about this shower project, one telling me to schedule an installation and another telling me they have to wait for the permit. Shocking to found out it then. I had to keep following-up as no one keeps you updated. I should of had cancelled the contract then, but as a good person I was giving opportunities and wanted to get my 81 year old mom a better shower to access. In January of 2025 finally they installed the shower, but the product looks like a shower kit from home depot. It took two weeks for the whole installation, when it should of have taken 3 days. I have been reaching out to the project manager about a HUGE price reduction for waiting on them all this time and going thru all this hoops. I taught it was going to be a quick process. I feel lied to from this company, and I feel they took advantage given I'm the caregiver of my 81 year old mom. From now on I don't think I'm ever going to consider another business offered at Costco.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The project manager only offered a cash card for Costco, and to remind me to signed to final documents which show the project is finalized. I originally had mentioned I would not signed until I see an amended contract with an amended project amount. When I spoke with the project manager over the phone, I indicated to him I wanted at least $3,000 in credit towards the project. I have not received anything in regards to an amended contract, but only the documents confirming the project is finalized. I feel if I signed the final documents the project is complete, they will not addressed by complaint.

We have been unable to open our front door due to an issue with the door for nearly two weeks, since 1/11/2025. I have been calling the many various numbers to get ahold of someone since 1/13/25. On 1/14/25 after leaving numerous messages, and continuing to call because no one would call me back, I was finally able to get a ticket created, which is ********, and I was told that Colby W***** would be servicing my door. We had our door installed with Dreamstyle remodeling in 2019 and paid $6,467 for our front door along with a single bedroom window. Per the contract, this includes a lifetime warranty as long as we still own the house. The door seems to be separating from the wall on the right side, which was the original issue of why we had our last door replaced and it will no longer open. I have called many times in the past few days, as well as emailing, and even told the company that I would file a BBB complaint if I didn't heard from anyone. I wrote a 1* review on google to try to bring some attention to the situation, but though there was a response to that review in less than an hour after posting, and I emailed the recommended customer service contact, I still have not received any kind of response. I did get an answer from the company that I cannot fix my own door without voiding my warranty, which I do not want to do because I think there is a significant issue with our door more than just the fact that the lock/handle won't open.Business Response

The crack in the right side of the frame that has appeared recently was not repaired, so I don’t know if the repair will hold but I am satisfied at this time. I needed six windows replaced, and a salesperson was walking around. The next couple of days, someone came to be able to give a quote. We entered an agreement and were told that this project would take no longer than 6 weeks (this started in late July) and was not completed until the following July. It took Dreamsyle one year to complete six windows. 2 months later, Dreamstyle called, telling us that our original agreement was not valid anymore and we had to sign a new agreement at a higher rate. When asked about this, I was told that they would get back to me, and I thought this had been resolved on Dreamstyle's side as I had not heard back. I am writing to express my growing frustration regarding the lack of communication and progress updates on the folding door project, which was supposed to be completed by the end of January 2025.
Adding to my concern is the fact that the $1000 deposit for this project has already been withdrawn from my account, yet there has been no clear information about the status of the work. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I have not received any updates or responses from your team. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable.
I kindly request an immediate update on the project's status and a detailed explanation for the delay. Additionally, I expect confirmation that the project will be completed by the agreed deadline. If delays are unavoidable, I demand a revised timeline and an explanation.
