Our business has been receiving multiple solicitation letters from this company. We have requested they stop multiple times and have received no response. We want the company to agree to remove us from their mailing list, and to agree to never contact us again. We are avoiding any legal action as this is a simply stupid scam and just plain annoying. The letter makes it seem as if they are sending a bill when in fact they are soliciting a "service", which is to list your domain on a sire we, and no one we know, are aware ever existed. This scam is also listed on the NSA site as such. The ONLY appropriate response from this company will be a formal apology for the constant solicitation, and to provide proof that our domains, and business contact information is or will be permanently removed from their system, and they agree to never contact us about ANY service, listing, domain, or otherwise.

As a personal note to the business, these letters are pathetic and predatory. I'd suggest stopping and correcting your actions, as they can potentially carry legal recourse if someone so desired.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. The letter they received is NOT an invoice but rather an offer to join our online directory and you are not obligated to pay. The letter is part of a marketing campaign for our service. We ARE NOT a domain holder; we maintain a directory of the country's leading websites. The payment of $289 covers a full year of listing in our directory and is 100% optional, as it states on the letter.

    Thank you,
    Domain Networks

I am rejecting this response because: The company provided a generic response that is used for other complaints, we do not feel this company cares to professionally respond to our request to remove us from any further solicitation.  Until a professional response is made that answers and responds to our specific complaint, we will reject any further generic responses.

    Regards,

**** **** House is a small nonprofit, a social service agency serving adults with mental illnesses. I recently handed over responsibility for paying bills to another staff person here. Every year we got scams from Domain Networks (and "Domain Listings" of Las Vegas) designed to look like something we needed to pay in order to protect our website. I always threw these away, but the new employee handling the checkbook did not understand the scam, and sent a payment, our check 1956. I discovered this when I just did month-end accounting. The check he wrote (8/16) has already cleared (8/23) so I cannot stop payment. We want a refund.

I was emailed by info@domainnetworks last September 9th telling me it was time to renew my domain. I thought it was legit so I followed the link to their website where they asked for my email and domain name as well as a code number that was optional. They then prompted me to put my billing address as well as my payment info where I put my card information. They then charged me $289 for it. They did the same thing this March 31st making the total they scammed me out of $578.

How many times do I need to file complaints against this business before they stop sending me unsolicited promotional mailings for the crappy service they claim to offer? Every year, right before my domain service expires and renews, they send me an obnoxious letter making it look as though I need to pay them for my domain. They obviously already know that I have a domain server because they list the ********** registrar number for my account at the top of their letter......is something wrong with **********? Last I checked, it was one of the top domain providers in the world! Why would I abandon ********** to go with a company that nobody has heard of, and that repeatedly ignores my requests to stop harassing me with their garbage spam solicitations? Who in their right mind would do business with any individual or entity that continuously disregards their wishes and disrespects them? HEY IDIOTS: I will never do business with you. I am now forwarding this to the FTC and the Attorney General's office. You are scammers. By the way, the name of my company is ********* ****** ********** **.

I RECEIVED A USPS-MAILED STATEMENT ON AUGUST 6, 2024, STATEMENT DATED JULY 19, 2024, FROM DOMAIN NETWORKS, REGISTERED AS "Domain Networks ***** ****** **** *** *** ***** *** ** ******" THAT FACIALLY APPEARS TO BE A BILL. AFTER EXAMINING THE STATEMENT, IT TURNS OUT TO BE A SOLICITATION. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE COMPANY IS INTENTIONALLY USING THIS DECEPTIVE MAILING TO HOOK UNSUSPECTING OR LESS THAN DILIGENT RECIPIENTS INTO REMITTING THE PAYMENT OF $289.

This was a mail scam claiming to be our website providers invoice. They had personal information about me. They even knew the due date of my renewal. They created a false invoice. My true provider reached out for payment and that’s when I was informed I was scammed by this company.

"Domain Networks" Mailing Address: ** *** ***** *************** ** ****** sent me an invoice for payment. This is a company of scammers as they do not control my website listing in any way, and I do not owe them any money to maintain my website.

They are using my website address and business information in an effort to DEFRAUD me of $289 for an annual subscription. Luckily, I double-checked this online before paying the bill.

They need to be sued for fraud and put out of business.

I am rejecting this response because the manner in which the letter is worded looks exactly like an invoice for services.  It is completely deceptive, and the only reason I could figure out what this false "bill" was was thanks to a google search that indicated that it was a scam.

This company is using deceptive practices and they need to change the way they present themselves.

Our Lodge Secretary Paid what "looked" like a invoice from ****** ********. It is clearly meant to look like a invoice to keep our website domain. The secretary is 75 years old and did not look closely enough to see it was a marketing ploy. They ayre well aware of what they are doing figuring most people or business wont look that closely at it. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to them asking for a full refund to no avail.
