My employer was sent 2 solicitation letters, appearing as bills. They were paid by mistake, and when the error was realized, the company was immediately called at the number provided on the letter (************) with no answer. An email was also sent to the email address provided on the same letter ************************* to request contact for the purchases to be cancelled and refunded.

Neither phone call nor email has been answered, even with further attempts to reach the company by both contacts provided. The phone calls have never once been answered or returned, nor have the emails received a reply or any indication they were received.

I get these letters fairly frequently. It looks like a renewal for a domain name. It is actually a fee for listing a domain name on domainnetworks  .com , which I have never done and why would anyone pay $289 for that?

They must make money from this scam but it really looks like a scam and should be illegal.

They need to stop. Some people are literally being scammed out of $289

I am rejecting this response because:

While it is true that tge mailing contains these words, the formatting is deceptive and gives the impression that this is a service you are meant to renew. Why anybody would willingly pay hundreds of dollars to be listed on a website is beyond me. This is clearly meant to dupe people who are not paying attention.

Thank you, however,  for placing us on the do not contact list.

    Regards,

Received a misleading invoice for domain listing renewal. It was not a renewal it was a solicitation for services. I paid $289 with my debit card. I attempted to call the company at ********** multiple times to cancel this service and no one ever answered the phone. I sent a message on their website under the contact us heading with no response. And I emailed a request for refund via email at ************************

I replied to the complaint to accept the respond that they attempted to refund the card but was unable to do so because it was declined. We cancelled the card out of caution for fraud. So, the card cannot be used to refund the $289. I replied that we would like the refund to be sent to us via check. However, I typed the incorrect zip code. Below is the correct address and zip code.

Please kindly update my response to reflect the correct zip code.

I look forward to having this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Received letter at my Business PO from Domain Networks offering list my business for $289. I Have absolutely no desire to use Domain Networks, I have never ever reached out to them asking for services, nor have I signed up for any newsletter, offers, etc. from them. I do not want to receive any offers from this company with a very, very bad reputation in the website market. I want them to remove me from their mailing list and never again send me any mail, be it physical or digital.

DomainNetworks sent us a letter with an invoiced bill for $289 for 'marketing services' and 'domain registration' yet we have never done business with this company.

They included '*********' in their invoice which is our domain registrar so it tricked us into paying them.

We sent a check (mistake) and it was cashed and essentially stolen.

This is a fraudulent company that we cannot contact in any way whatsoever.

We filed a complaint with the BBB a while back about recieving misleading spam in the mail. We were told by the company through the complaint that they would not mail us again. We recieved another mailing this week. This business has an "F" rating due to scamming. When will the BBB step in to stop this company?

I am receiving unsolicited mailers which are deceitfully disguised as a domain renewal letter from MySafeDomain. These mailers were never solicited and we have never done business with this company. MySafeDomain is a spin off name from Domain Networks to try to scam people to renewing this junk offer. The letter we received will be forwarded to both USPIS and FTC.

On several occasion (most recently April 10, 2023), I have received deceptive letters from this business trying to trick me into moving my domain name (at a greatly inflated 10 fold rate) to them instead of the reputable company that I deal with. I am savvy to this, but I deal with many older clients that I fear might fall for this scam. Most recently they have tried to convince me to pay for a domain during a period that it is already pre-paid for. This is just stealing. This company does nothing reputable and should be shut down.

I am rejecting this response because: Although the stated text is included, it is very small. It is clear to me that this mailing is intended to deceive un-savvy recipients into thinking they are renewing their domain. Additionally, whatever service that is provided for this exorbitant fee provides no benefit at all to the purchaser. This is a scam that checks just enough legal boxes to stay in business, but a scam none-the-less.

The ********* ********** ******* ****** *********** received a solicitation from Domain Networks in January 2023 for $289.00. We are a nonprofit organization and have limited funds already. A demand letter was sent via certified mail to their addresses in New Mexico and North Carolina, demanding that Domain Networks return all funds paid to their organization, otherwise we will be pursuing legal action. After confirming that this demand letter was received at their NM address on April 5th, 2023 with certified mail, I began mysteriously receiving phishing emails from the "Better Business Bureau" regarding a complaint. Knowing I had not filed this complaint yet, I knew that these were ill-timed phishing attempts, and promptly deleted these poor efforts at further defrauding our organization and individuals involved. Now that Domain Networks allegedly feels the need to further defraud our nonprofit organization, we will be pursuing legal action through the law firm that represents the association, and we will be contacting the Albuquerque Field Office of the FBI.
