When I called ********* to check on the status of my vehicle title, as I recently had my Chapter 13 Bankruptcy discharged, I was told that it was now being handled by Wollemi Acquisitions. I was given the phone number, which I attempted to call. The number just hangs up and I have attempted to search for other phone numbers to no avail.Business Response

My dealership has been trying unsuccessfully to obtain an *** (letter of explanation) or a One and the Same that Wollemi and **************** LLC to explain their relationship because we accepted a trade in and the title shows **************** LLC as owner and Wollemi has stamped it. We have tried a dozen times to get someone to help us both by phone and email but absolutely no one will respond or provide of the legal documentation required.Customer Answer

I have tried unsuccessfuly for 2 years to obtain my title and lien release. My bankruptcy is paid in full and I retained my vehicle. I have called at least 6 times in the last few months. I have been lied to on several calls. They have stated that they have sent my title and it is in transit. Even going so far to tell me to call back for a tracking number. Then when I call there is no tracking number. They tell me I need to talk to their legal team but they are conveniently never available when I call. Half the time when I call I either get disconnected or busy tones. They did send me an email copy but the *** won't accept it and I have informed this company of this. This is theft and fraud, not to mention this company is outsourced to ***** and nobody can understand what I need. I am seeking legal action in this matter. I had to buy a new vehicle as I can't register my old one in a new state without the titleBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I do not believe my title was lost in transit. I have called no less than 10 times and have been told anything and everything from its being sent out today, we already sent it to you etc. I have been told something different every time I call if they even answer the phone. I have also asked for a lien release multiple times and same thing, more lies. There are 4 pages of the same type of complaints on the BBB website so I know I am not alone in this issue. Now, due to them losing my title I will have to pay more money for a lost title on my original state and then more money to the current state I live in to get my vehicle registered. I even had my lawyer contact their supervisor at one point and was told they would send my title, all lies. I do not feel I should be responsible for these additional fees as none of these mistakes are my fault.

My Santander loan was sold to wollemi. I was never sent a statement and have never received information about the change in processing. Their listed phone number is never answered and automatically hangs up on customers. There is no other contact information. I am trying to find the 21 day payoff for my loan.Business Response

********* sold this loan to Wollemi Acquisitions in 2019. The car was paid off in 2020 In over 4 years Wollemi never contacted me, never sent me a released title. **************** just told me repeatedly that this file is not assigned to an agency. I have no idea what that means - but this file has been with Wollemi for 4 years. I had a terrible car accident, and I need the title in order to release the car to insurance and get a new car. No Answers. No timeline as to when they can respond to the request. No help. Shame on Santander for seeking loans to this pathetic excuse of a business.Business Response

After the co-owner of the vehicle, ************************************, received a Ch. 13 bankruptcy discharge in Dec. 2021, the title for the subject vehicle was sent to ********************** c/o ****************************, **************************************************************************************************** via ***** tracking number 271611753428. I have been trying to call this company for 2 months to see if they still had my title, I needed to find out the pay off and continue payments with them. EVERY SINGLE time I called it was busy. A busy tone. Never rang not once. Now I get a letter in the mail saying I owe almost ***** dollars to be paid in two days or they will come get my car.
