I paid a lot to conceal coalition for misleadingly taking money from hard working people they have refused to refund my money I never wanted a gun holster that I have to return to get a refund then offered a100.00 gift card for restaurants I have to pay bills not eat.140.00 is a lot of money to me these ads and the people behind them need to pay everything back and heavily federly fined so BBB do something about it like you say you can. I signed up for training classes conducted in ** required to receive a concealed weapon permit. On the website I went through an online pre-qualification questionnaire and listened to a video in which questions followed before I could schedule my class. I also needed to pass an *** background check to qualify for the class--I did not pass and could not participate in the class.I explained my concern with the background check to ******* when I signed up, and she told me that I could seek a refund if my background check was denied. So, when I called for the refund, the company claimed that I had received an online training course--this did not happen.After reading other reviews, several others were similarly scammed out of their money. It's evident that services were not rendered, and the excuse they give qualifies as a scam.Business Response

On ********* Concealed Coalition offered a program to get a national concealed carry permit for weapons. I began filling out the forms and paid for the online course. Not once was I asked if I already had a concealed carry permit in my state, which I have had and still currently have. I was only purchasing a national concealed carry permit they were advertising on ********* However, after I paid for the course, of $134.53 on June 14, 2023, all they give me is information on how to get my concealed carry permit for my state! I already have that! They specifically state a "National Concealed Carry Permit" and show a badge along with it. When I called customer service on June 22, 2023, at 5:20 pm, the customer service agent told me since it was an online course and is not returnable, she is refusing to issue me a refund. I told her the advertisement was misleading at best, if not fraudulent, as there is no National Concealed Carry permit good in all 50 states.Business Response

Today, June 19, 2023, I saw an ad on my computer, offering a certificate for carrying a concealed weapon. I have my ***** license to ********************** a ********************** weapon, so I wanted the certificate to hang on my wall. I paid $85.41 for a certificate that I could print out, as well as a certificate to be mailed to me through the mail. AFTER I HAD PAID, and only AFTER I had paid, they stated that I had to take their course. I, immediately, called them at **********, and I spoke to someone on the phone. I told him that I already had my concealed weapons license through the **************, and all I was interested in, was getting my certificate like they had stated online that I could do. He said that I would have to take the course to get my certificate. I explained to him that I already had my license to ********************** a ********************** weapon. I told him that I had already paid for the certificate, as well as a hard copy of the certificate, and if they were not going to send it to me, I wanted a full refund. He stated that they would not refund me my money. I, again asked him for a refund, because, it never stated that I had to take their course to get the certificate. He, again stated that I could not get a refund. I asked him to let me speak to his supervisor. He stated that it would do me no good. I, again, asked to speak to his supervisor. He told me to hold on. Then, the phone went blank. I continued to hold on for, approximately, 10 minutes, and then I disconnected. I would like to have my money back. They did not try to resolve the problem, at all. The order number is *******. Please, please help me to get my money back. They are deceptive, and this was fraud!! Purchased the permit expecting the documentation to concealed carry only to find out after purchase that I have to attend an on-site class in order to obtain the permit. We did receive an eMail from you on the date of purchase and our customer service department promptly responded. Yes. You are correct. If you have a DD-214, ********* does NOT require any training to carry concealed. However, we do not issue a ******* Non Resident certificate to students who have not completed training with **. We do have an online portal that you have paid for and are welcome to compete. This will allow you to receive your ******* Non Resident certificate. Live Fire is required for this certificate to be valid. Please contact our customer service department to make ** aware of how you would like to proceed.

I just completed a course online with this company. It was deceptively advertised as a fast track to ******* concealed gun carry permit process. The internet advertising is blatantly deceptive. The certificate is a generic worthless piece of paper totally not required by *******. The actual class required is in person training of 6 hours which they try to get you to sign up for ($60.00 more) after soaking you for $69.99 on the bogus online class. Misleading about Concealed Coalition, *** is based online , and offers concealed gun certificates in ******* ** online, wich is Not True. After a video, 10 simple questions they ask for money for shipping, and holder, etc. Once you made your payment, a large statement pop up saying "we are not affiliated to *******, we don't provide concealed gun permits in *******, this is only an online class to help you for your future clases, etc". I paid for the online course and order a hard copy of the certificate to my house, the Live Fire Certification that I was not aware that it was a completely different payment that had to be made !! Completely misleading on the website!
I called to find out how to schedule the Live Fire Certification and I was told that I would have to pay a extra $49 for the certification, and I also asked for a date and location to see if it would be near my house or a date to see if im off work and I was told that I HAVE TO PAY FIRST to be able to have a date and a location for the certification!!!!! Thats absolutely ridiculous!!! And yes I shouldve read the reviews. Lots of people complaining about the same situation!Business Response

You signed up for our in-person training class through our website. Our website states the necessary steps that you will need to complete after signing up. The website states, Step 1: Complete your instructional requirements by watching our short instructional video for free. Step 2: Pass our ********************************************************************************************************** person training with live fire training. Step 3: After you complete the qualification test, we will outline the next steps necessary to secure your concealed carry permit. As you can see step 1 lets you know that you are not paying for the video. step 2 the website makes it clear that you will need to schedule your in-person class with live fire training. On April 3, 2023, I paid for a firearm course that was scheduled for April 22, 2023. I paid $174.98 for the course thinking that it was all I had to pay in order to attend the course. However, the company used bait and switch tactics to get me to enroll in the course without knowledge of the additional fees I would have to pay. I was not happy with this and called way in advance on April 6, 2023 to ask for a refund. This was definitely sufficient time to cancel my enrollment in the course because it was not last minute at all (16 days prior to the course). **************** only told me that they don't issue refunds even though I called very early ahead of time. I was tricked into thinking that I got a good deal on a service but was not told about the additional expenses to be paid until I already paid my $174.98. I am very unhappy with how this business has treated me as a customer.Business Response

At this point, we were assuming that you would in fact attend the class that was being held in 2 days and that there was no need for further action on our part. The website is deceptive advertising quick concealed carry certification in your area but neglecting to mention that the Live fire portion of the course can be booked months out completely negating the "quick" and efficient process they advertise. Last week, I found an ad for an online conceal carry certificate. I was originally charged $49. Then I see another charge for $118.62. I did not authorized this . I was upset and called the phone number listed and spoke to a person who would not refund the charges. This is like a scam. They hit you with a low price, and then add on more charges to my debit card.Sounds like a bait and switch. I felt very uncomfortable dealing with them.
