On 10/24/2024, for the second time, Domain Listings LLC sent me a fake bill for $288.00 with my business' website, a description of serves, and that their subscription includes an annual website domain listing. At the bottom of the page was a tear-off receipt with instruction to "Please Remit Payment to address on reverse by December 3, 2024." While within a paragraph of text there is a disclaimer stating that "This is not a bill. This is a solicitation.", the mailing is clearly designed to look like a real invoice and to trick busy ************** into paying.Business Response

This company continues to send domain listing invoices to my home for businesses that do not exist. I have tried contacting them and putting my home on the do not contact list to no avail. The most recent invoices are for ******************** and ******* Lord of ************* Both of which do not exist at this address or at all for that matter. Their constant invoices are a pain not to mention the drain on my time and resources trying to get them to stop sending this c*** to my home. No matter what ridiculous business they make up- they do not exist at my address and my repeated attempts to make them stop have clearly been ignored once again. All I want is for them to lose my address and to stop contacting me in any form!!!Business Response

This company continues to send mail solicitations to our organization's PO Box. Their "offer" looks like a bill. I am afraid that at some point in the future, someone checking our organization's mail will pay it by mistake and/or set up recurring payments for a service that we do not need, do not want, and have never asked for. I want to stop receiving these mailings, and to stop wasting my time dealing with this parasitic company.Business Response

I received what appeared to be a bill to my business - after further looking, it is not a bill but a solicitation presented in a very unscrupulous manner. This business should be stopped from sharing these mailings - they are misleading and immoral.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the business is blatantly sees this as legitimate practice and needs more acceptability. The statement made by the business is quite converse. the "this is not a bill- is nt bold. in fact is is a lighter shade of less bold than the other letters (while it is in caps) it is not made to be prevalent. this is ludicrous and crass business practice. moreover the response is unprofessional and ***** as I've seen with other similar complaints on this business related to this practice.

Our office keeps receiving these letters from Domain Listings that look like bills. There's no other reason for them to design their solicitation letters like this other than trying to mislead people into believing this is a legitimate bill for their domain listing. It's nothing but a scam and it shouldn't be legal.Business Response

This company sends what appears to be invoices however, the town has never done business with this company. They mail what appears to be an annual invoice for "domain listing" with our town's website listed. They make it appear to be a service the town currently uses, and we had to stop and waste time determining this is not a service utilized by the town. The business' response is not satisfactory. The business has not acknowledged that their "offers" are misleading and easily interpreted as an invoice to be paid. I would again ask that the business remove the Town of ******* from any mailing list, as requested in the initial complaint. This business is sending out scam bills to pay using similar business names and getting your website info to make it look legit. Domain Listings sent an invoice that is misleading and not actionable on our part. We had to stop and do research to make sure we did not owe this company any money. The practice is shameable and should not be allowed in our country.Business Response
