This company sent me a letter in the mail with my Student Loan information and seemingly from the government to help set up a set payment schedule for a lower amount for a set amount of time. They said it was income driven, had me provide my income and "took time to calculate" my monthly payment. Though seeing all these comments, $49 is a standard that they seem to charge everyone. They also said they would send me documents to have me fill out and "Send back to them", which I did. They even had a return address to send it to. When no service was provided, they said that it was because the documents were being received. I was still getting charged by my Loan Servicer AND this company. They then told me it was because I was supposed to send the documents to my loan servicer. I told them to cancel and they refused me a refund of my money.Business Response

From September 2023-now Superior Servicing has taken money from me claiming that it was paying my consolidated loans. It was a lie and my student loans have been put in deferment at the fault of Superior Servicing. I requested a refund and no call back. BAD BAD BUSINESSBusiness Response

Back in November, I reached out to this company to enroll in a SAVE plan and was informed my payments would be $49 a month. Just to get the paperwork started for consolidation I was informed I would need to pay $899. These payments were made in installment on November 13th, 17th, and December 11th. The first payment of $49 was paid on December 26th. I was informed of two things: (1) the payment of $49 would go towards my student loans and over the course of 20 years I would only pay $11,760 towards my loans and they would then be forgiven, (2) the $49 would need to be payed until the consolidation is complete (which is has been). My consolidation was completed in February and my loan repayment began March 6th. After speaking with my actual loan servicer, my loans have been consolidated but the continued charge of $49 that has been being taken out of my account has not gone towards my loans and I am not actually enrolled in the SAVE plan.I was given conflicting information being that my $49 was going towards my loans (which it isnt) and my $49 is actually for the consolidation process and once that was completed I would no longer need to pay towards the consolidation. As my loans are done being consolidated I want a refund for the money that has been continuously taken from my account since March and I want no further contact from the company. I want to be removed from all records and for my account to be off limits. I also want a confirmation from the company itself that these wishes can be granted. People should be made fully aware of what is going on with the company and not be given conflicting information.Business Response

I was contacted by Superior Servicing LLC in November, the company claiming to work with the ********** of ********* and seeming legitimate because they had my contact information and knew what the value of my loans was. They offered to help with my loan payments for a one-time payment of $800 and a monthly payment of $49. Months later, however, I found that no payments have been made on my loans and that Superior Servicing is simply taking customers' money after filing publicly available forms to consolidate loans. I have been unable to contact them, leaving me without immediate recourse.Business Response

Superior servicing contacted me and said they bought out all my student loans from my student loan provider, Edfinancial, and would do a payment plan for me. However they never bought out my student loans, they just scammed me and kept taking my money. My student loan provider kept alerting me of late payments and confirmed this.Superior servicing took 3 payments of $899 in August 2023, Sept, and October from me. And 7 payments of $49 from November through May. The total is $3,040 that I am demanding reimbursement for due to fraud.Business Response

We do not physically write checks or mail them out from our office. That is a process that is taken care of directly by our bank, which is a major banking institution. Therefore, it is impossible for the check you received to be a "fraudulent check." This is the process we have used for every refund given and recorded on BBB, and consumers generally have no issues depositing these checks into their accounts. All our calls are recorded and we have no record of you ever calling us after rejecting our responses on BBB. We called you on June 18th and on June 21st, which is today, and left a voicemail both times; We have yet to receive a call back from you. As we previously mentioned, what you received was an official bank check that was sent by the bank. There is no scenario where they would've sent you a fraudulent check. Not counting the 500 that was asked up front to supposedly consolidate my student loans I have been now paying 50 dollars a month for the past 6 mi the to a year and as far as I can tell the student loans arent getting paid. I do believe that the only time the student loans have been consolidated has been through navient/aid advantage where my loans got sent to after finishing school! I started looking into superior services when I noticed the charge in my account today and have read nothing but bad things about them! I received a letter from Superior Serving LLC in the mail in October stating a "final notice" on payment for my student loan which instantly rattled me. I called Superior Serving LLC thinking they were my service provider and they guided me through the process to get my "issue resolved" by consolidating my loan. They asked for 2 payments of $399.50 which I sent over and they said I will only pay $49.00 per month thereafter. However, I realized I am paying both SSLLC as well as my normal servicing provider.Business Response

In July of 2023 I received a phone call from Superior Servicing Services to consolidate and lower my student loans. I setup a payment plan to pay ****** dollars for the legal fees to have the loan switched from my current loan company to Superior Servicing I made 2 separate payments and after that I setup to have ***** a month deducted from my checking account on the 1st of each month. I have been receiving emails from nelnet stating that my loan is past due. I have not had any success with contacting Superior Services.Business Response

This business is Fraudelent!! They are masking as a company that helps with student loans and are finically attacking people who are financially vulnerable. They are using a name and a logo that is VERY similar to a legitimate company that provides home loans, called superior loan servicing. They are taking my money to claim that they will consolidate my student loans and eliminate the interest. I discovered this company was fraudulent when I called the department of education and was informed that there have been no changes to my college loans status. On top of all of this, you cannot contact the company in any way. Every email goes unanswered, every phone number leads to a dead end, or a full mailbox. Also, they give you ZERO receipts, and no way to even prove that you have been paying them. So the only documents I have to attach to this is my original contract with them. Which I WISH I NEVER SIGNED. This company is fraudulent. And it is 100% evident. Close their doors now before they scam more people and take more money.Business Response
