I was solicited by Patriot Golf located at ************************************************, to try some golf clubs with the express understanding and agreement that if I didn't like them I could return them and they would refund the monies that I paid to them, which monies were to be held in trust. I tried the golf clubs (3 rescue clubs) and they were of inferior quality. I called and obtained permission from *** and ********************* under RA71611 -0824-WM to return the clubs and they would credit the funds back into my bank account. The original transaction took place on June 15, 2023, and the sum that I paid for clubs and shipping was $537.95. They were shipped to me approximately one month later, and after trying them I obtained permission on August 24, 2023 to return the golf clubs to Patriot Golf with the understanding the funds would be refunded to me promptly.The funds have not been returned to me which is tantamount to theft of my money by Patriot Golf. I have called and requested a refund in October and November, 2023, and also January, February, March, April (3 times) and May (2 times) and have yet to receive a refund or return of my money. It would appear that Patriot Golf is not an honest forthright company and the general public should be advised and warned not to try their clubs or to buy their golf clubs.Initial Complaint

I purchased 3 golf clubs from this company (3 wood, 5 wood, 7 wood) Patriot Golf, they guaranteed if you were not satisfied within 45 days with the golf clubs, you could return them for your money back. This is what they promised. I have attached documents with emails from my order confirmation, shipping confirmation, return number confirmation, and emails with representatives at Patriot Golf, concerning my order return.I paid $498.00 to Patriot Golf for the golf clubs on 6/20/23, so with shipping the total was $537.95. I have not received my money back as of 4/17/24.Within the 45 day return policy window, I called Patriot Golf and started the return process. I got a confirmation number for my return, which you can see in the attachments.Every 2-4 weeks since I started the return process, I have called or emailed the company asking where my refund is. Every time they reaffirm me that my return is in queue, and being processed, and I should wait a couple weeks and I will received a check in the mail. I usually have talked to a *****************************, **************** Specialist, **********************, but today I spoke with a woman named ******* and she mentioned the same thing ******** has said for the last 6 months.I am very upset and disappointed with this company and their business practices. I agreed to be part of a "trail period" for a set of golf clubs from a company called Patriot Golf. I did not expect to have to pay for these clubs, but since I was told it was only a trial period and my money would be refunded if I didn't decide to buy the set I decided to go with it. I paid for these clubs on May 18th, 2023. During the return period, I reached out and talked to customer service and they agreed to process my refund. I mailed the clubs back to them, which I ended up having to pay extra for, and then I never heard back from them. On October 29th, 2023, I reached back out via email because I still hadn't received my refund. They responded saying I should hear back soon. December 4th, 2023, I emailed them again because I still havent received my refund and they said they would reach out to that department and check on the status of my refund but I never heard back. January 15th, 2024, I emailed again because I still havent received my refund, and they responded saying the same thing saying I should hear back soon. I have reach back out to them February 20th & February 29th since and the situation has still not progressed whatsoever. I paid $438.95 for these clubs plus another $80 for shipping them back. I was told this would only be a trial period and I was guaranteed a refund, they took the clubs back from me, and I'm still waiting for a refund almost 6 months later. I have reached out many times and I was very polite each time; however, I was straightforward with them about my intentions to seek legal advice if the situation persisted and there has still been no apology or assistance. Additionally, this was a promotion that was sent to me by a reputable golf organization that I get emails from so I feel I have been swindled and I fear that more will also be swindled by this company due to their deceiving marketing strategies. On 12/4/23 my husband ***** ordered clubs from Patriot Golf. The clubs were to be sent to him for trial and if he was not happy with the product he was to be issued a refund. On 1/8/24 my husband unexpectedly passed away. By the time I was able to search out contact info for Patriot Golf the clubs had been shipped. I spoke with *** at Patriot and after trying to get me to still purchase the clubs for 1/2 price, then a lower amount he agreed to send me a postage paid return label promptly and I was told Patriot would refund the purchase price of the clubs when they received them. Patriot received the clubs on 1/26/24 and I have yet to receive a refund. I have been in contact with them by phone and/or email at least 3 times. On 2/7/24 I was told by a person named ********************* that the refund was being fast tracked and I would receive it in 7 - 10 days. That didn't happen. On 2/23/24 I spoke with *** again and he said I would receive it in 48 hours. As of 2/27/24 I still have not received the refund. I called again today and was told no one was available to assist me. For a company that supposedly supports veterans, of which my husband's brother is one, they operate with little customer service or satisfaction. To add even more insult one of their "customer service" agents responded to one of my emails by addressing it to my deceased husband even though it was clear I wrote the email. I see from other complaints others have experienced similar issues. I just want the refund ASAP.Customer Answer

Patriot Golf made a money back if not satisfied offer to me that I was not satisfied with. I met all requirements for testing three golf clubs and returned the clubs in good order (they agreed) within the time period allotted for the testing. That was in Nov 2023. While they claim they cannot refund the full amount, $498.00, for various staffing/resource issues of a small startup company, every time I call them to inquire about my refund, they clearly state if I take less of a refund and buy product at a reduced rate, they can immediately refund the difference on the credit card I used. I purchased golf clubs from Patriot Golf around the May 2023 timeline through a promotion call I got from them via a referral. I received the clubs in late July 2023. I didn't like them, and returned them less than 60 days later. When I purchased, they gave me an extended return and refund policy of 75 days. So, if I were to not like the clubs, I could return them back to the sender within 75 days for a full refund (minus shipping and handling fees). Patriot Golf received the clubs back in October 2023 and passed all inspections the same week they were received. Since then, I have been calling biweekly for nearly 5 months trying to get my refund and have encountered a number of problems. The customer service department acts as if they have no idea what is going on and that the check will be sent out later the week I call, every single time I call. However, no check or refund in nearly 5 months. A recurring update I received for the first 3 months following the verified return of golf clubs was that they are going to send out a refund check in the next batch of checks they send out (supposedly, they only send out checks for refunds and so forth once a month, during the middle of the month). After calling back first week in January, I began logging names of people I was talking with and have been talking with ***************************** from customer service. On that call in January, she reached out to their accounting team and found nothing had been done nor processed for this refund, regardless of receiving clubs. The latest update I heard was on February 1st, ******** told me she entered a request to expedite my refund request and it should be sent out Feb 16th with the rest of the checks. On Feb 20th, I called back after not receiving a check nor any shipping update (as promised) and they are now saying it is "queued to be processed". It seems as if they are waiting for me to just quit on this. They are violating their refund and return policy and I am not the only one.Business Response

Like many others that have filed a complaint that's been ongoing for months mine started 10/05/2023. I reached out to patriot golf interested in a promotional offer for 1 Driver and 3 fairway *****. My credit card was charged $486.95 that same day. Before the clubs were delivered I called because I was no longer interested in the clubs and wanted to cancel my order, one of their sales representatives talked me down to keeping the driver and 2 of the fairway ***** and I'll be refunded for one of the clubs. The day of delivery I received the driver and 2 fairway ***** and was angered because I've yet to receive my initial refund for the fairway wood I cancelled. I called once again regarding the refund for the club was never credited back to me, at this point I wanted a full refund and the sales rep was very distasteful and unprofessional implying I didn't test out the clubs and was trying to "fool them" that 4 golf clubs were shipped to me and that he can look at the weight of the package determining if I really received 3 or 4 golf clubs. Once that theory was debunked by the weight of the package I told him we met a deal in the middle of being refunded $300 and to keep all the clubs and that it'll take 30 days for a billing cycle to be refunded. 30 days go by and I call again on January 5 2024, regarding my refund, at this point I'm completely out of patience and requested the Return Authorization Code, one of the higher *** was talked to and told me "I can hit this button and refund the $300 if you like" mind you this is in the afternoon about 4pm central time, my refund should've been sent that morning if it's that simple. I told him no please give me the Authorization code. Clubs were sent out and delivered 1/31/24 and I've yet to receive my full refund Feb 2 2024, called again regarding the refund and was told it takes 30 days to be issued. I requested it to be expedited for inconvenience and was told I'll be followed up with. No follow up was conducted.Business Response

I purchased a F35 driver and three F35 ***** under the offer that I only had to pay for the *****, and if I did not like the ***** I could return them for a full refund and keep the driver. I placed the order on June 22, 2023. The clubs were shipped to me on September 18, 2023. I did not think that the ***** were worth the price, so I returned them. They were delivered to Patriot Golf on November 3rd, 2023. Complying with their 45 day return period. On November 8th I received an email stating that the refund would be issued on "the next billing cycle". I have followed up several times since then, but every email has been ignored. It is now January 15th, 2024. I paid $447.00 plus shipping. I understand that shipping is not refundable. I am owed $447.00 from Patriot but am being completely ignored. Similar to other complaints filed here. I agreed to pay for and test the ***** from patriot golf as part of a free driver promotion. The clubs took months longer to ship than quoted and I called asking to cancel the order as I was losing faith in the company. I was told my order was about to ship so I agreed to wait another week. The clubs still never shipped and 3 weeks later I called and canceled. I was told *** 60 days for my refund. I still have not received my refund and every time I call to inquire, I am told they will let their team know and get back to me. Nobody has ever gotten back to me. This company is clearly scamming people, and even using the guise of patriotism to do it.Business Response

I recieved an email regarding a free driver and putter. The only requirement was payment for shipping (no more than $100). after this transaction was done on October 4th 2023, I noticed a charge of over $700 CAD on my credit card. my partner and I called the business and they ensured that we would get a full refund and to give it 14 business days. we gave it a month. after the month passed we called again questioning where the refund is and why it is taking so long. by this point we informed the bank of fraud in which the company reached out to the bank to inform them that they are refunding so no need to run it through as fraud. after calling the business again they responded by saying they never said 14 days and changed it to 30 days. fine. after another month (2 months total at this point) we still have not recieved it. called again and they assured us that by the following week we would get it. a week later we still did not recieve it. my partner stepped in and called the business on December 19 2023 and demanded to speak to someone higher up which they transferred her to ********************* (one of the presidents of patriot golf). He seemed very understanding and said I should 100% get it by December 26th 2023. on January 3rd we noticed that has still not been refunded. at this point my partner emailed ****** directly in which he asked when we are available. after responding to his email he has still not responded as of January 11th. I have called numerous times in which they give the same answer "you will be put on a call back list" no one has ever called me back. it is now 4 months after the initial transaction and have yet to recieve this refund. I have been getting charged intrest by my credit line for this amount due to this process.
