I initially called them to accept an offer to try out 2 dozen golf *****, I have been trying very hard to find a nice affordable golf ball. In order for me to test them out, I would need to put in a deposit and test out their prototype hybrid clubs, which if I didn't like them I could return within 45 days for a full refund. I accepted this offer and paid $447.After over a month of waiting for the order, I finally received the shipment. This only included the hybrids and did not include the golf ***** which was the entire reason for my interest. After testing out the clubs they were alright, but no where close to good enough to replace my current equipment. I called them and began the return of the clubs, there was an incredible amount of pushback and the customer support rep *********************** was consistantly cutting me off and insulting while I was trying to ask questions about the return process. Regardless, I was able to get the information I needed to return the clubs. At this point I still have not received the golf *****, they keep saying they are on the way.I ship the clubs back, pay shipping fees, and see they get delivered on 7/10/24. I call them and get confirmation of receipt. I'm told the return has been accepted and I should see a refund within the next billing cycle. (30 Days).On 8/7/24 I call to ask about the return and get told my refund has been accepted and I should see a refund within the next 7 days.This brings me to today, 8/14/24 where I again call to ask about the return and get told my refund has been accepted and I should see a refund within the next 5-10 business days.At this point I still have NOT received the golf ***** that initially piqued my interest and was the primary reason for all of this. It has been well over 4 months waiting for them and it is beginning to look like this was a massive scam and I will not receive my money or my golf *****.Customer Answer

When you call they then want you to demo a driver and 3 clubs. They state that they will charge you a $149.00 to your card until you return the demo clubs back or choose to keep them.I felt okay about the $149.00 being charged to my card but when I checked the card later that day, they had charged me $500.00 and I checked the afternoon after offer was made. When I tried to call that evening they were closed so I called the next morning and let them know that they were dishonest in telling me I could demo clubs for $149.00 and I wanted to cancel my order as they charged my account $500.36. They gave me a cancellation # *****-0802cxl. However I have not seen the money reversed or credited back to my account. I called ************** they told me it would take 1 billing cycle or 30 days. When upon further investigation I have found this to be untrue and they seem to never return your money as others have stated on multiple websites concerning this company when looking into them. They make this offer through a trusted company known as GolfNow that I have done business deals with before with no problems. I would like my $500.36 back and to warn others about this dishonest company doing business in your State.Business Response

We would like to thank this customer for his interest and the generous opportunity to earn his business. While we know that misunderstandings can happen we still accept that it is our responsibility to make sure the customer is aware of the totals we intend to charge to the payment method he is providing. It is for this reason that we train all representatives to disclose all of this fully, that we record all calls for our protection as well as the customer's, and that we send an email confirmation reiterating all charges upon processing the order so the customer can review the charges and verify that everything was as represented. Nothing can fully stop all misunderstandings from ever happening, but we do go to great lengths o make sure that such instances are rare. We apologize to the customer that such a misunderstanding occurred in this case and, as disappointed as we are to lose his business in this instance, we nonetheless respect and accept his decision fully.
Like most major golf club manufacturers we do quote up to one billing cycle for credits on returns and cancelled custom orders and, despite the customer's claim to the contrary, the vast majority of credits by our company are issued well within this time frame. While it is true that we are not perfect and some have gone over that time and have resulted in complaints online to that effect, it should be noted that not only are these a small percentage of our overall business but that we also acknowledge our error and refund these customers immediately. It should also be noted that a high percentage of those that complain online about credits actually did receive their credit within the quoted time frame and complained because they felt the quoted timetable was unreasonable. As a case in point, this customer filed this complaint on August 8th, six days after he cancelled his order. This point of view that up to one billing cycle is too long for a refund is one we understand and can respect, but it should be noted that we are nonetheless proud that our return policy, including timetables for returns, are in line with companies in our field that are far more established with much bigger names and resources at their disposal.
This customer has been credited in full within his quoted billing cycle and we consider this matter closed. We again appreciate his interest, are sorry for any misunderstandings and hope that, considering we have executed as we said in within the time frames promised, that we may one day again have an opportunity to earn his businessCustomer Answer

This company sells golf clubs. The offer th let you try them and if not satisfied to return them for a full refund. I have used many of their clubs on the past. On September 2023 I returned clubs they convinced me to try that I did not need for a refund of almost $450.00. Despite dozens of calls and emails and their continued promises they were sending a check for my money back they are still holding my money. I paid by credit card. They claim they only return by check. None has been issued 10 months later.Business Response

Was offered a free driver to demo some fairway ***** with a money back guarantee, if I didnt like them. Paid $500 up front, was told 3-4 weeks and the clubs would be here (had a golf trip 5 weeks out from purchase date). At 3 weeks I called and was told the clubs were packed and ready to ship out the next day. 2 days later I got an email stating supply chain difficulties. At 5 weeks I called and asked to cancel the order. Was told no problem at I would receive a refund within 5 business days. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing. Contacted again and have yet to receive a response. This company appears to be a scam.Business Response

Called Patriot Golf (PG) 4/17/2024 re: free ***** to test Driver & 3 fairway ***** (4 clubs) w/"unconditional, money back guarantee on any clubs purchased through 90 Test Play Program." Charged $500.36; Order #*****. Very clear w/PG rep *********************** 4-week delivery reqd. PG sent confirmation email advising "Order Update", adding +1-2 weeks to usual 3-4 weeks ship/deliver. I emailed unsatisfactory & cancel if 4-week delivery unfeasible. PG emailed, "order successfully processed and is in production; currently quoting 3-4 weeks for shipment", so anticipated delivery mid-May. PG emailed 5/11, ". . delayed in providing order . . able to source all components necessary to build order & working tirelessly . ." So, PG now advising able to source all components necessary, yet 22 days earlier advised order already "in production" dishonest! Waited 4 days to 5/15 (full 4 weeks ship/deliver promised), sent email canceling order & requesting refund. PG rep ******************* called 5/16 to retain order w/significant $ discount offer; I refused; he confirmed Cancel #*****-0516CXL. Next day 5/17 PG sent formal cancellation email, ". . It does indeed show we owe you credit of $500.36 & that was logged 5/16/2024 . . . all credits should appear in approx. 1 billing cycle . . ". PG advised "1 billing cycle" = 30 days after 5/16 cancellation. Waited 6.5 weeks (2.5 weeks beyond "1 billing cycle"), sent email 7/1 requesting immediate refund, immediate call if questions & immediate formal reply. On 7/8 PG emailed, " . . Refund pending & will be processed in order rec'd . . . apologize for delay, were small startup company w/limited resources . .. Lost all patience, very concerned w/vast BBB complaints; zero confidence/trust/respect in: sales approach; ability to meet customer commitments; honesty/integrity ********************** viability as sound business; wide use of ******************************** verbiage. Just want to be very clear this is an extremely straightforward situation -- I cancelled the order w/PG on 5/15/2024, four (4) full weeks after making the order (my clearly stated delivery requirement to them), which was 4 days after PG advised on 5/11 that the order was nowhere near complete (apparently not yet in production), and I simply asked for an immediate full refund. There were no goods (golf clubs) delivered, and thus no return of goods to them involved/required . . . simply an immediate refund due.

I find it interesting that all their prior emails to me listed their business address in *******************, **, and yet they also have a Las Vegas business address (??). I can only surmise that this is a completely fraudulent company, completely misusing and shamelessly abusing our fantastic U.S. service veterans. Please help me get my 100% refund as soon as possible.

This is a scam business that preys on unsuspecting customers. After reading other complaints I understand now their business tactics and the reason they can still do business is that others don't know about their deception. Yes, I did agree to the discounted rate because the option was to pay to return the clubs which was never disclosed during the initial conversation. Also, based on other complaints I will be lucky to get back what is owed to me. I will not agree to close this complaint until I receive my refund. I will also do everything I can to warn others of this business and it's tactics.

I have not received the two dozen golf ***** that were promised to me in the beginning which was probably in April or May. I wish something could be done about organizations like this. I was offered free wedges from Patriot Golf on condition that I try 3 *****. I had to pay for the ***** up front but they assured me that if I returned the ***** after trying them they would fully refund me. I returned the clubs on 10/25/23. I have contacted them at least 8 times but still have no refund. They tell me it has been authorized but the check has not been cut. I am running out of patience.Business Response
