On 05/15/25 I spent $237.20 on a custom boat cover that was guaranteed to fit my boat. My boat was listed on their website. After waiting 3 weeks my boat cover finally came in and was to small and not at all close to the boat I put in their website. I sent in a dispute and had to send in at least 10 pictures to prove it. Their customer service rep ***** was assigned to the return. He when told me that they do not make a cover for my boat and would return it with a 18% restocking fee. This was not my fault at all. I then spoke to 3 different customer service teammates on the phone and they all agreed that they should have stop selling a cover for my boat and that it should have been removed from the website. All 3 stated I would receive a full refund. ***** will not respond to my emails anymore and the last one I received from him he stated that I would be charged the 18% restocking fee.All I want is my full refund that I was told I would receive. After looking up this country I have found that they do this to a lot of their customers and they delete the bad reviews from their website. Please beware from purchasing from this company. I spoke once again on the phone with a gentlemen on June 11th and was told once again that I would receive a full refund and that a manager would be giving me a call to resolve the issue. ordered a pontoon cover and engine cover for my boat after chatting with the customer service *** stating that they have a cover that will fit my boat. After receiving both items neither fit, THEY WERE TOO SMALL. I messaged and spoke with customer service which stated that the cover I received was the largest one they make and to return for a full refund. I returned both items and then received an email for doing an exchange or a discount to keep the cover which I denied as I have no use for something that will not fit. They then stated that I was not going to get my full refund as there is a 18% restocking fee. I am furious as I would not return if the item they told me to purchase fit.Business Response

A representative reached out to me to offer another partial settlement of purchase price minus all taxes paid. They stated that they cannot reimburse me for the taxes because they did not collect them from me. Yet on my receipt I was clearly charged them. Then they came back to say that they were collected by the state not by their company. Basically they are still refusing to reimburse me for the total purchase price of transaction. All products have been returned and received by the business, all I am wanting is my full purchase price reimbursement including all taxes of $290.73.

June 9, 2025, I purchased 2 seal skin car covers for $350.15 order number ************. I paid with my ************* ***** I was guaranteed 48 hours shipping, with a email with a *** tracking number. This never happened. I phoned the company they said they were busy give then a couple more days. This will be Monday that will be a week before shipping, then another 7-10 days to receive. This is not good business. I ask first ****** for supervisor he said none in office. I ask what their cancel policy. The *** said I canceled your order. I ask you the police and when I would receiver my refund. I call 2nd *** at company I ask for supervisor or ***ager they said none in building. I ask for call back, he said in 24 hours call back. Even though their system asks for specific details (i.e., Year, Make, Model, Cab Style, Bed Length, Bed Cover/No Cover/Topper, etc.). They replied that they do not make custom covers and provided instructions on returning the product. I shipped the product back to them and they have not provided a refund.Their advertisement is very misleading. Asking for such detail leads people to believe they're receiving a product that is made to those specifications. In my case, I ordered a cover based on my trucks configuration of being a 1970, ****** ***** ******* **** **** ***, with a tonneau bed cover. Order #************ Purchase $392.58 CND + DHL duties $145.76, I want both fully reimbursed. Their site GUARANTEES the cover will fit the vehicle it is ordered for. we put in the exact year/make/model for our boat, and it is much too small. Their guarantee is false. We would not have ordered the cover without seeing that guarantee.I filled a complaint with the company and the service was terrible. Gave inconsistent information, between not being able to return it, then said they would probide a prepaid return label, to advising we would have to cover the shipping of the return ourselves. Which I got a quote would be $210. I asked how they can guarantee Id get a refund once I send it back, and they stopped replying. We only ordered the cover due to their websites guarantee that it would fit the boat we ordered it for. This was a lie, and now they are saying I have to pay forr the return, which is $210, and won’t be refunded. Also, based on the message history with the company, which I have and can share, they are not competent as consistently didn’t answer my question and gave conflicting information. How could I possibly trust is even get any money back once they “receive and inspect the cover”. I have no faith in this company.

I purchased a supreme car cover for my Dodge Challenger vehicle, which the business claimed to offer superior hail protection. Friday 5/16/2025 we had a hail storm, and my Dodge Challenger was outside under this cover during the storm. My car has 64 dents in it, and im taking up with my insurance company to fix my car. But I am here reporting this business because they are falsely advertising products in which they do not stand up or meet the requirements they are advertising. Their customer support and managers disrespected me, which caused me to get furious with them, and they hung up on me, after regarding the case in which I submitted. I tried to get a hold of them on Monday 5/19/2025 but they wouldnt allow me to speak with a manager then. They were only going to make me pay for the warranty to get another cover sent to me, and disregarding what I was trying to tell them about their product. I bought there Seal Skin Supreme Car Cover in Oct 23. After 8 months it tore. They replaced it with an extra fee. 8 months later the new one began to tear & had pinhole leaks. The total cost was about $200 for 16 months. I tried to contact Seal Skin and spoke to an Agent. He advised me that the "Lifetime Warranty" applies to your first replacement cover only. I went back and looked at the Seal Skin website which mentioned 7 times that it had a LIFETIME WARRANTYonly when you click on the warranty details does it indicate that they only replace the first cover under the warranty. To me that is very deceptive, misleading advertising. not the same as a LIFETIME WARRANTY. It seems very deceptive to list Lifetime WARRANTY7x in their main ads but to put that significant undoing detail in the detail tabs or fine print.. I asked to speak to an owner or someone from "Headquarters" which was blocked. I live in a moderate climate area with no extreme weather conditions which is optimal for product longevity. I was pretty discouraged that the first one tore after only a few months and that they would not honor what was believed to be a "Lifetime Warranty." And also very disappointed that the average life of the 2 covers was only 8 months each. So I presume from Seal Skins responses, or lack of, that a LIFETIME is 16 months. After countless emails back and forth with another Seal Skin employee, *****. **************** He never gave me his title,) the best they would offer is a 20% discount which is only 5% greater than the abundance of 15% coupons already on line. I asked several times if their expectation of a Lifetime was 8 months. They would not reply. I asked countless times to get connected with an owner or someone from management. That request was evaded by ***** every time I asked. It appears that the obstacles in place to deny management contact is a company practice.I do not believe that this company is dealing with me in good faith.Business Response

I discussed the issue with ******* from Seal Skin. She offered me a $35 reimbursement. That is less than 10% of the total fees paid for this "Lifetime Warranty" item. As noted in the previous message the ad indicates on 7 occasions that the covers have a "Lifetime" Warranty." I told her that i did not believe that this is a reasonable offer and that I do not believe that I am being unreasonable to expect that a "lifetime" for this product to be more than 8 months. In the response she notes that the
one time replacement" is noted in the warranty. Even though it is noted numerous times in the openly posted ad that the cover has a "LIFETIME WARRANTY." Only when you click on the warranty details does it mention that the warranty only applies to the first cover. That detail is clearly unclear. Lifetime to me means the length of the use of the cover, but certainly is inconsistent with 8 months. Had they made that significant detail clear in the ad, i would not have even considered this purchase and i believe many other costumers would not purchase this product as well.. In my opinion leaving out this significant detail clearly noted in their ad I see as deceptive advertising. In addition i feel that the offer of $35 to resolve this complaint is only an insincere attempt at a resolution, so that they can say to the BBB that they responded. My expectation of a "reasonable" life of one of there covers would be maybe 4-6 years, certainly not 8 months. I live in a location that has very mild weather. Very little rain and moderate temperatures. This car this cover was used in an optimal climate that would have provided optimal longevity. It couldn't have been much better. The offer of a $35 reimbursement is absolutely unacceptable. At the very least i think that they provide a new, no cost cover with a warranty starting all over again. Even with that resolution and based on the longevity of the last two covers, that would likely still only give me a total of 3 years of reliable service or use of the covers before the 2 new replacement covers are likely to tear again. FAR short of what i consider a reasonable "lifetime."I am so dissatisfied with this product and substandard costumer service, i think the best thing to do would be to provide a full refund of approximately $200 and to part ways.
I also think the company should be required to change their ads and include the "one time" predominantly. That detail significantly negates the spirit of what is reasonably considered a "lifetime warranty."
