I went to Victory Mistubishi on Sunday 11/27/22 because my boyfriend was interested in buying a *** M340 2020,my boyfriend was told he was going to need a co-signer due to him not having great credit, he tried having his mother co-sign which didnt work out. The sales rep then brought up the idea of me being the co-signer, which I agreed to with little knowledge of what I was getting myself into. They had us there for 5+ hours because we arrived around 3:30 pm and left around 9 going onto 10 pm , we didnt get a chance to buy food in all that time we were waiting and we asked multiple times that while we were waiting if we can go eat some food and come back (the ********* was down the block and the sales rep had both our numbers if anything) and he just kept insisting we wait so we dont get skipped, when we finally were able to sign the papersit was my mistake in not taking the time to read the fine print but they were not even discussing any of the information on any of the forms. After signing some papers, I noticed that they were making me sign in the section that said buyer instead of the section that said co-signer and I asked the man why was that and he simply replied oh thats just for you to help him with his financing, I believe they made me sign documents with inadequate information and were taking advantage of the fact. On 11/28/22 we paid a visit to the dealership once again to see if we could give the car back or negotiate a change in price &/or trade for a cheaper vehicle. All that was said is that : I shouldve read the documents prior to signing and since the documents were signed that theres nothing they can do on their behalf except repossess the car which would mess up my credit. A lot of the forms that were signed were done in a fraudulent manner and without explanation with no awareness at the time of signing and everything being processed. I believe from the moment we arrived we walked into a devious scam.

As discussed, once the vehicle has been registered and once you receive the title to the car we can assist on trading you out of the vehicle that you purchased.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

When I went to the dealership on 11/28/22, it was not discussed that we would have to wait until AFTER the fact we receive the title and registration, that something would be done along the lines of what was mentioned in their response. All that was discussed or more so said was that if they were to willingly take the vehicle back, the vehicle would lose its current value     which is a little over $54K, given that it is a USED car thats 2 years old regardless if its a **** All they care about is the money they would lose , the money that they gain in an unlawful and immoral way. Unfortunately it is the only way thatll keep them afloat. I am not content at all with what they have to say.

Hi ma'am, we are more than willing to continue to have this discussion with you. The vehicle was retailed at the advertised price and you purchased ancillary products. We offered to cancel these items like the warranty, but you asked us to not do so. Kindly let us know what you view as an acceptable solution. Many thanks!

Now they are saying the car was sold for 24 thousand on my contract it says 31 thousand but they took a loan out for 27 thousand and I brought in 8 thousand so my loan will be smaller instead victory add much unnecessary fees. So from 24 thousand it went up to 27 because they added a warranty for three thousand, when I called the bank they said yea it shows

The car was sold at31 thousand and they use 4 thousand Im tax and warranty so what fees brought the car to 27thousand. Also they sent in false pay stubs to the bank were we never worked thats why we are paying a high car note and signature was put.

No the matter is not fixed

I purchased a car from Victory on May 7th. 5 months later it breaks down with almost $2,000 in repairs. Coincidentally, it breaks down across the street from the dealership. I walked over to the service center and explained my situation and made sure they knew I had warranty because I was not coming out of pocket for a car that I just purchased. I was called a day later and told my AC Compressor is out and timing belt and something with my alternator, I explained to the advisor that I have warranty. I just bought the car. The first initial price she gave me over the phone was $800 and then she said I had to pay a deductible. Now shes telling me its $1200, WITHOUT storage fees. I asked for a print out of the work that was done and she told me she cant do that because then itll seem like she gave me the car. Wtf?! Im supposed to pay without knowing what was done? $1200 on a car just purchased? I waited 3 hours in the waiting room for her to tell me that. I am considering opening a case with the attorney general I feel like i am getting scammed Also, the second week after I purchased the car, I noticed the car lights would flicker. I didnt think much of it but I still called the dealership and they told me that is normal. No management helps out over the phone, every time I get transferred the call drops!

The customer came in with concerns on their vehicle and authorized the diagnosis.  Upon diagnosis it was determined that the belts and ac compressor needed to be replaced.  The customers warranty did not cover the belts but did cover the ac compressor.  The customer authorized the repairs and was quoted $856.08 for the two belts for parts and labor. The customer's deductible for the ac compressor is $300.00.  The customer agreed to the cost of the repairs and to the cost of the deductible. The car was repaired as of 10/20 and the customer has refused to pick up their vehicle.  The total due by the customer is $1153.08.  We do not want to have to charge the customer storage fees but the work that they authorized has been complete for 15 business days as of today 11/10/22.  We would like the customer to pay the agreed upon cost and to pick up their car.

Ive been trying to cancel the ************************* Contract that they added into the contract but I keep getting the runaround from here. Hello Dear sir/madam. I went to this dealership to purchase a vehicle on 10/19/2022 for my wife. I didnt actually take my wife with me. However I went there and me and the dealership agreed upon $28500 as a final price so I told me that I will go ahead and bring my wife in to sign stuff but they told me to stay put at the place and they will send someone to my house to sign the paperwork so I called my wife and said someone will come and she could sign the paperwork. However when the guy was the on way they made a new bill of sale and put a lot of other fees without disclosing it to me like wheel and rim protection for $3500 and random fees of another $1000 and deceived us and made my wife sign the paperwork in the dark. And the next day they sent us that bill of sale I asked them to take the car back because they deceived us and scammed us but they wont agree and the car is not even drivable because alot of smoke keep coming out the exhaust. And they wont take the car back even 10 hours after purchasing the car. Please help me and my family. Either please help us get correct the contract what we agreed upon and also them to fix the car. My family is under tremendous stress please help us. Im afraid that my wife might to hurt herself for how this dealership had scammed us. Please help us.

Hey after you made us sign us the contract on the street wit no lights front of my house without showing us the contract. You guys charged us $7k extra on what we agreed on. Hey making people sign the contract on the street. That is not a way to do business you guys agreed on $27500 with me and then told me to stay at the dealership and sent a guy to my house and made my uneducated wife on made up contract. I financed a car from this business and 3 days later my transmission light came on. When I called the young lady said there were no available appointments until the following month. This happened 3 times. The car continued to give us trouble and we went to the dealership to get a different car they told me it is illegal in my state which is ******** to switch out a car at a dealer.car and told ** they are doing ** a favor by replacing the transmission for free. I also experienced different accounts being open under my name without my knowledge showing on my experian app shortly after giving my information to the dealer.please help I have a young daughter and I gave them all my savings for this car and they are giving me the run around. The service department took all my supporting documents.

My issue has not been resolved! On Thursday October 20, ************************************************************************** a check at the end of the week. As well as stating that swapping out a vehicle is illegal in ************** . I called on Friday october 21,2021 and got transferred 7 different times and no one ever got back to me. I visited the dealership on October 23,2022 at 11:00 am and was approached by a sales woman who then proceeded to say if we do not have an appointment they cannot help us. In regards to the check being issued the ladies in that department arent working on weekends. So that means the manager brushed me off and just said anything to get me off of the lot that previous Thursday. My issue is not resolved, I would like to swap my car out and have phone records showing that I called three days after receiving the vehicle when transmission light went on. I also have diagnostic paperwork stating everything that was wrong with the car that the dealership never made us aware of. Each time I called, they stated there were no available appointments and no one ever calls me back!! I am employed and am missing work due to this car issue. I feel insulted on how they spoke to me as if I were uneducated. I have spoken to a detective at the ************* in the Bronx and have also filed a report for fraud/ identity theft. As I have stated previously after dealing with Victory Mitsubishi within days my experian was alerting me on accounts being opened without my knowledge one which is still on my phone! I am not satisfied at all!

18 thousand miles was put onto the vehicle in 60 days, of course the vehicle is experiencing mechanical issues. No vehicle can handle that type of usage, nonetheless the vehicle's extended warranty covered the work done to the car. Unfortunately, considering that it has been out of the lemon law warranty period 16 thousand miles ago, we cannot provide any reimbursements.

I went to Victory Mitsubishi on 9/23 looking for a specific car. I already had a loan so I didnt need my credit to be run. I showed the salesman the email for the loan and he wrote down all the details. He said that anyone could make a fraudulent email saying that they had been approved for a loan and he needs to check my application. My husband asked if this would result in a inquiry on my credit report and the salesman, ***********************, reassured him that it would not because they were just checking my application. He left and came back and said that they checked my application and that he would be showing me a car. We went to their other lot and he showed me a car. The guy really didnt say anything about the car, when I asked how much for it he literally said he didnt ask but his boss sent him to show this car because it was in our range. My husband asked about the car we came to look at and *********************** said that they probably were working on the car because it was sold. We went back and waited awhile to speak to a manager to see what the numbers looked like. I didnt feel right about the place because it seemed like they were invested in quick sales and not actual customer satisfaction. Today 10/1, I received a letter letting me know that my credit actually had been run and they asked for a loan of $25,510. This was done without my permission or knowledge. *********************** never asked to run my credit and I also never approved for them to ask for a loan of that amount. This business is taking advantage of people and their salesmen are not educated on the cars they are selling.

Date of Transaction: June 17th Description: Around 7:30pm I came to Victory Mitsubishi to inquire about a ******** **** C300, after viewing and deciding I wanted the car, the dealership asked me for all of my information and told me to send my paystubs (attached below) after I sent my paystubs it seemed like there was an issue and a chance I might not leave with the vehicle I wanted. 2 hours (9:30pm) later I finally was able to talk to on of the managers and finalize the deal. At this time I had been at this dealership way longer than I expected and was ready to go home, so I rushed through this process so I could go home soon as possible. However I was getting a shady vibe from them saying I might not be able to take the car, to saying I didn't have to put a downpayment then requiring at least $4,000... having this weird energy I decided to take photos so I could fully read through everything when I wasn't tired. As I took these photos the salesperson/manager I was dealing with says, "you don't need to take photos, everything will be printed/sent to you". I put away my phone and trusted his word. Days later I reviewed the printed documents and the number of papers seemed significantly less than the amount of photos I took and the amount of pages I signed. So I decided to look back at these photos and see what was missing, and this is when I when I was in shock and disbelief to see they lied about how much I'd pay every month, and lied about my income and job title to multiple banks after I explicitly and truthfully told them how much I made (attached below). I have been trying to figure out how to handle this issue and nothing seems to be working. Them lying to me and about my income has made this car unaffordable and is destroying my credit. I don't want to deal with them and this unethical contract they've locked me into.

Manager gave me number to call and resolve issues but didnt give me any real options as far as a solution. After I stayed consistent with my request he told me to come in October 5 at 12 PM, and talk to the *** I expressed that I didnt want to drive an hour to the dealership just to hear the same thing about refinancing for the third time and he replied with thats really the only option. GM did not accommodate or work with me at all as far as my complaint and basically said it is what it is.

CAR PURCHASED 9/4/22 They will scam you! After receiving my copies of the paperwork I noticed they added Tire and Wheel protection on to the cost of the car before they add on the prepaid maintenance. So the listed price will go up by almost $4,000.00. They sell it as if youre getting it free with your purchase. I emailed ******* who did the financing for me about my concerns and never received a response back. I called multiple times and lvm and never got a call back about my concerns and canceling. I contacted the Tire and wheel company, and they were able to cancel the policy and stated the dealer was responsible for the refund of the money. I again tried calling an emailing and got to response. So I went there in person, when i arrived ******* wouldn't speak to me but got **** who stated he was a sales manager to speak with me. He tried to sell me the idea that an optional maintenance package was something i had to pay for because that's how they sell the cars. This isn't my first time purchasing a vehicle and I know dealers try to sell you these items not just include it in your purchase (sounds a bit illegal). I told them i canceled the policy with the Tire and wheel company and they have a refund policy that if canceled within 60 days you get a full refund. Again, I was told they could not refund the money they receive for the purchase of the vehicle. After going back and forth i was told i would get a refund for the services but the check would be sent to the bank even though I requested the check be made out to me, but **** stated that was not possible and a check would be sent back to the bank. I was told i would get a copy of the check via text. I requested a copy of the check and an email confirmation stating I was getting a refund and it would be sent to the bank. I still have not received that either. All and all I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from them & if you do... Good luck. Also, still haven't received my plates.
