  A salesman came into our apartment and implied that they were with ** government. Its totally unethical and gross sales tactics. Total scam.

  The person I talk to that came to my door about 10 minutes ago was actually super sweet no problem with them. But after reading these reviews and looking them up online, I immediately canceled my plan. I was told that it would not change my price of gas or electric. I did ask multiple times. If anything would change in the response was no. I am a people person, so I try to be nice to everybody. I usually dont mind solicitors because the majority of them in my area just talk about politics I usually entertain them for about a minute, but the person who came to my door, was asking a bunch of information about my providers and I was too nice to say no thank you to everybody writing reviews so I was able to cancel my plan about two minutes ago with them before anything happened!!

  Employee from this company misrepresented himself as a representative for my gas company. He claimed that he needed to view bill information to confirm that we were receiving fully renewable energy. Unfortunately I let him view the bill, and afterwards he told me that I had to take a phone call with a representative to confirm that he told me everything. The representative immediately started speaking quickly, but I was able to make out consent. The whole thing was incredibly sketchy. The door-to-door person made me confirm that he was not still in the building while I was taking the call (a lie). Definitely a scan where the salesperson will attempt to switch your providers after you consent over the phone.

  The sales agent was diligent and clear on what he explained, I will stay with my utility making the delivery and Mpower will supply, he explained I could try it out and If I was satisfied with my bill I could stay in service with my fixed rate. My bill improved, I also started to be more aware of the electricity I'm using. That first bill I called **************** to understand, how the charges were made since I never noticed before I paid for delivery and supply, the lady kindly explained and answered all my questions. My experience has been good with them, I don't understand all the hate.

  ******* stopped by my house today she was so patient so nice and so kind she explained everything very well her appearance was amazing her smile could light up a room she explained all the benefits of receiving clean energy from my new local supplier mower you guys are amazing

  ************************************* Agent ******* came by today she really helped me she explained to me that I was an amazing person for using clean energy from another company while explaining it was great she explained how mpower benefits would be more reasonable because they was based out of ******** , she explained all benefits well and also explained how unplugging gets ** to use less kilowatts you guys trained her amazing so beautiful we had talks about food the children being the future she very brilliant I see a lot of qualities in her

  Super invasive. Someone in my building let 3 salespeople in in thinking they were Amazon. I found them wandering the hallways. When I asked them who they were here for, they were super rude and tried to pitch me. They claimed they were part of Comed, but Comed confirmed they did not send them.I heard them calling me a b**** after I asked who they were here for. I don't think it's bitchy to want to avoid unsolicited sales visits in your own home.

  Just found out that my energy bill is very high because apparently I was enrolled in this program. Im being charged **** when gas right now is at .26. This has incurred even higher gas charges. I am a senior on a fixed income and its sad that companies would take advantage. This is nothing but a scam. It very hard to contact anyone. You represent yourself as a natural gas supplier, nothing but lies. Someone has to take your company down. I seek legal action if I dont have this cancelled.

  A group of MPower representatives got into my apartment building yesterday evening and knocked on my door at around 7PM. I opened the door to a man telling me that he worked for MPower which, as he explained it, is a service company that works with my energy provider, **********, signing residents up for cleaner energy. He said that there are increased CO2 pollution levels in my area (which is false), and that my building had qualified for clean energy from MPower (also false). He asked to see my last energy bill, said that I needed to sign up (false again), and that my bills would decrease as a result (still false). The price he quoted me, capped at 17 cents per kilowatt for 60 months, was more than the 13 cents I am currently paying. None of this made any real sense to me, but somehow, embarrassingly, I ended up being persuaded into showing my energy bill and giving my contact information. He then proceeded to coach me through a series of hard-to-understand questions from another representative who called my phone. At one point the rep on the phone asked if the other rep was still there. He indicated that I should lie and say that he had left. This was obviously troubling, and I've read similar accounts in other complaints. After the phone call, he actually did leave, and MPower sent me an "agreement document" via text which I am unable to open. After looking up the business online, I realized that this not only looked and felt like a scam, but there were numerous other complaints and lawsuits about this business. I don't want to support a business that trains its employees to act like door-to-door con artists. These kinds of fraudulent business practices are, or should be made, illegal. The rep acted like signing up was something required for the air quality of the neighborhood, which is a clearly a lie. ************** should do something about this and shut MPower down for deceptive business practices.

  The worst people to deal with, not only do they switch your account, to get them to cancel is almost impossible. The reps on the phone as as bad as the door to door people, very aggressive. Horrible experience.
