I regret signing up for the service. For $14 a month you can pay into a $3000 emergency fund. This fund can cover life-threatening surgeries for your pet. However, this fund can only be accessible after you have already paid the entire cost of the emergency procedure upfront. I had an emergency with one of my pets that cost me $8000. Thank goodness for credit cards and I still have my dog. This service was recommended to me and with half an eye open. I signed up for it. I long forgot about the service. A year goes by and they charge me a $99 renewal fee. I am outraged by this because I did not pay for that in the beginning. Along with a $14 a month fee. Reaching out to them and letting them know that I do not want to pay $100 for a service that I no longer want. They backlash at me with the most rude attitude that they are not going to refund me any money because they already reached out to me via email for the renewal. I have searched through my emails And there is no renewal email. I have sent them screenshots of my search. They do not care. The rest assured I will have access to this fund for another year. A fund that you cannot use until after you have paid for the full amount of a life-saving procedure. Needless to say, I am extremely distraught with this company. I feel this is bad business and I feel , like no one can sign up for this. I wish I could have a positive review for this, but I absolutely do not. The disgusting customer service is undeniable. Cant even meet me halfway. Regardless of the fact I will make sure to tell anyone I know to not sign up with PAWP.

Money hungry liars and thieves. This company renewed an annual subscription after I cancelled the renewal earlier this year. I reached out for assistance the same day the charge was placed on my card for immediate assistance. The company refuses to acknowledge this error was on their end and also refuses to honor a credit or refund for the subscription I did not request.

Just don't do waste your money. This place is crooked. They do not hold up to their end of the deal and make it nearly impossible to file a claim. You will never get to speak to customer service. They just mock you over their chat support and tell you the same thing over and over. The app is impossible to use to resubmit paperwork. Then they say they're sorry but your time ran out to file.

Pawp, Inc. denied my insurance claim submitted on August 7th, 2023 with the explanation given:"Your pet's medical records indicate they did not receive veterinary care when the emergency occurred. Waiting to take a pet in for medical care can result in an unnecessary emergency for a pet and Pawp does not support medical negligence. The ************** cannot cover treatment for injury or illness caused by persistent neglect of the animal. The ************** cannot cover emergencies that occurred prior to the conclusion of the 14-day waiting period." The waiting period for the insurance plan ended on June 26th. Pawp's decision to deny the above insurance claim on the basis of "neglect" is inconsistent with the findings of both Urgent Vet and the *******************************************. Pawp has rejected repeated attempts to communicate through a phone call or real time chat. Instead, they are providing single sentence responses with 2 to 4 business days in between. I have emailed, messaged on the app, messaged on social media, and contacted employees directly, but have been denied a real time conversation. Despite the fact that all of my messages from Pawp have been sent by ***********************, Pawp Customer Support/Claims Specialist, she continues to send me single, repeative sentences with several days between them, closing out my support ticket after each of her unsatisfactory responses. Pawp, I know you're going to respond to this with generic copy paste sentences. But please understand that I'm not going to go away. I will contact every agency, complaints board, and legal aid that I can find until you have provided an explanation that is satisfactory to myself and the doctors my pet worked with.

This company is a scam. This emergency fund is not legit and they make every effort to not give it out. Your pet essentially has to be shown on screen dying or dead for them to release it. If my pet is in an emergency situation - my first thought is not to call pawp and ask one of their "vets" to tell me i need to go to the hospital and release my emergency fund. I encountered this issue with pawp over a year ago and still have not forgotten. It is still and will likely be for a while the worst consumer experience ive ever had and the biggest scam ive encountered.

In the middle of the day a little over a week ago, my dog came in limping. I could not find anything on her leg or paw. I had her jump up on bed and saw she had a large tear in her skin and was bleeding. I remembered I needed to contact PAWP for permission to take her to vet (I would have taken her anyway). I was on hold for 1/2 hour until someone came to me on chat. It was not camera chat, only typing type of chat. During this time holding, my dog began to shake and was obviously in a lot of pain. I was petting her and trying to comfort her as I waited. I explained what's going on and was told to take her to the vet. So I went. I signed all paperwork of estimate and that I would pay. After xrays, bloodwork, and then putting her partially under, they cleaned the stitched up the hole. I still have no idea how she got it. I paid the bill and got the invoice and vet notes to send. After waiting 5 days, they asked me to send the vet notes again because they were not complete. I went back to the vet for them to print and uploaded them. About 4 days later, I was told it was declined, but no reason given, just said to read their policy. I read it, but still did not see why they wouldn't cover. I sent emails back and forth to them and was told it wasn't an emergency. Really??? so, I am expected to leave this gaping hole open so it can get infected? I fought it and was still declined. I have canceled the service and feel I have been defrauded with this situation. I think something changed with the organization. So do I recommend this to others? Absolutely not!!!! I will be posting my review everything I can to get word out not to trust or deal with this company.
