      On January 13, 2023, I ordered an office chair from Office Chair @ Work and my credit card was charged $649.00. The company promised that the chair would be shipped to me within 5 to 14 business days. The invoice number for my order is *****. When the chair was not received within that time period, I contacted the company on January 30 and was told that they were still processing my order. I was also told that the processing time on all chair orders was now 15 to 30 business days. On February 18, the company gave me a 5% discount credit of $32.45 due to the delay in delivery. Nevertheless, I never received the chair and over the next 6 weeks there was a series of multiple emails from me inquiring abut delivery. On March 26, I finally cancelled my order. By return email on March 26, the company advised me that a refund would be issued within 7 to 14 business days and a credit would be posted to my credit card. As of today, May 2, 2023, the credit has not been posted. I am seeking a full refund of $649.00 less the $32.45 that I have received as a discount credit. In researching the company, I have since learned that numerous customers have had similar experiences with chair orders and it appears to me that the company has engaged in fraudulent conduct.

      Date of Transaction: Feb. 5,2023. The amount of $399.00 was deducted from my checking account on Feb. ***** ordered a Steelcase Amia Chair, All Features, Black, Platinum, Adjustable Arms, Adjustable Lumbar Support office chair from Officechairatwork.com (I & L Distributing Inc. , Brooklyn, **). It was delivered by *** in a damaged box. I could see that the arm on the chair was broken without taking the chair out of the box I texted their support team and was told to tape the damaged part of the box up and call *** for a pickup date back to them I did exactly what they told me to do. They texted me back telling me my refund of $399.00 was issued on March 13. After many attempts of texting and calling leaving voicemails (they never responded back to me)I decided it was time to take action on this company. It is April 27th and I still haven't received my refund for this chair. The chair was picked up at my address on Mar. 7th, 2023 by *** and it was delivered back to ***** Manager ********** /returns center ************************************************************** * *** **** *** GROUND TRACKING #: ** *** *** ** **** **** *********** has not tried to resolve this problem after many attempts of trying to get someone to talk to me.The order number for this chair is ***** and was put on a credit card - $399.00 I am hoping you can help me get my money back. I will never order anything from this company again. They are not to be trusted.

      In August we bought a chair that was not deliver until late September and it was not in good condition. After no resolution with the merchant, we decided to dispute the charge with *****. Once that happened, the merchant contacted us and requested us to return the chair for a refund. We did that, but the merchant never refunded the money.Attached please find the documentation we collected of the charge done on 08/11/2022 with the merchant SEATINGMIND for the amount $774.00.       I ordered a chair for $698. After making the purchase, I suspected something was off, so I did some reconnaissance and found a lot of complaints about the quality of the chairs. Within 30 minutes, I canceled the orderthe authorized full refund to Paypal. Twice the refund did not go through. I have no chair and no refund. Now the company is stealing from me. I expect a full refund.

      Ordered chair online. Tracking number was issued by company, but details of tracking showed only the label was created. Waited the indicated shipping time and verified that the chair had not shipped as per agreed shipping time. Cancelled order via email. Received confirmation of cancelation. Received email from PayPal that refund transaction had failed. Checked BBB and saw 450 complaints about nearly the same issue of non-shipment and slow to no refund. Contacted credit card to dispute charge.

      2022-12/23 Made a purchase for an office chair from their website "Officechairatwork.com" with a stated delivery time of **** business days.2023-01-23 Had not received the purchase nor any emails of delays. Contacted them via their web portal and receive a response that they are having supply chain issues and that it would be another ***** days. They provided a 5% refund as consolation.2023-03-01 Still not received order or any communication. Contacted them via email and asked for a full refund of the remaining amount. They issued the refund via PayPal with a settlement time of **** business days.2023-03-17 Received email from PayPal that their refund has failed and did not go through.Since then we have been attempting to contact them via emails and phone calls, but not answer or reply. Phone calls go direct to voicemail and emails are not answered. After reading about similar experiences with others, this seems to be fraud and we need help.

      I ordered a chair on behalf of my work. I was sent a defective product, and I'm being charged a 20% restocking fee to return it. I believe the business plans on trying to resell this defective product to other consumers, and they're likely making all of their profits by keeping the 20% restocking fee every time. I would like a full refund if possible.

      Purchased an office chair in November. It was delivered extremely late in January. The chair was not advertised as refurbished. It arrived damaged (human hair and substances all over the chair, the chair seat was damaged with holes, it didn't include the upgraded wheels we had ordered and was charged, it had scratches all over the rim and side of the chair). The company will not take responsibility for the chair that arrived damaged. The company is charging me to have it returned and pay a 20% restocking fee. We are demanding a full refund. It is not our fault the chair was damaged upon arrival.

      The original order was placed on 10/21/22 for $758. The chair was shipped to me, but when it arrived it was not a new chair as advertised but was actually a used chair that had not been cleaned. The chair was covered in oil and grease and had hair tangled everywhere possible. I reached out to the customer service to return the chair. The chair was shipped back to them using the shipping method and label they sent me and was delivered on 12/5/2022 for a refund, tracking number ******************. I was expecting the return to take a week or two but after not hearing anything I reached out to them on 1/3/23 asking about the refund being issued. They responded on 1/5/23 that the return would be processed in a few days. I reached out again on 1/10/23 after the return still not being processed and have not heard anything back. Since 1/10/23 I have called and left a voicemail as well as sent another email on 1/13/23, but I have not received any further communication about the $758 that needs to be refunded. This complaint is both about their advertising of selling wholesale new chairs for cheap, when my chair was definitely not new. And about their refusal to refund money after a return was sent to them.

      On 8/30/22 I ordered & paid for a "************************* Equa Guest Side Chair" for a total of $254. It was to include, "gift, free of charge" a "$59FootRest" & "ready to ship". A week later, not having shipping info, I called numerous times but no one answered the phone. I went on their website & sent a message asking where my chair was? They then sent email saying it would be ***** business days. I received the chair on 9/23/22 without the FootRest and the box **ntained the chair in pieces with no instructions on how to assemble, also not enough screws. Again-not answering their phone. Sent email-response was "FootRest out of stock will ship once they are back in stock". Sent them photo & told they would "forward to our team for further help". Inspecting the chair it became obvious that the chair was NOT A ************************* but a fake. Authentic chairs have a label on the base of the seat with product's model #, manufacture date & FO # that all ************************* chairs have. This one did not. Also, the wheels were scuffed & dirty-appeared to be used. I asked for them to pick it up & refund the $. After numerous back & forth, on 9/29/22 I received email with a "free **** return label. I packed it up, called **** they picked it up on 9/29/22 & sent Proof of Delivery that it was delivered to them on 10/11/22 1:33PM. By 12/6/22 they still had not refunded the $ and was told by my credit card ** when I disputed the charge that Seatingmind told them that I never returned the chair. On 12/7/22 I emailed ***** with their **************** who I have been **mmunicating with, attached the proof of delivery & demanded that they refund the $-the email came back as "Mail Delivery Failure" stating the email address does not exist anymore. To date they don't answer their phone, don't respond to message on their website & have not refunded the $.
