      Dispute Russrl county in Alabama already updated my 2023 property taxes for this year, M&T bank still have not updated yet and just received a letter dated May the 11th. from M&T bank stating that we were unable to honor my request to adjust your county tax line as the tax municipality does not yet have updated tax info for their next tax cycle. I just called Russell county tax office at 334-298.6922 and told me they already have updated everything related to my property taxes and that is up to M&T to make the proper adjustments.
      M&T bank increased my monthly mortgage payment up $100+ despite my property taxes decrease from around $1200 to just $320. For this 2023.

      Our Mtg has increased over 1,000 for the past two years in a row. The company cannot give me a clear line by line explanation of why this happened. They blame in the increase in taxes, I have a homestead exemption I’ve protested my taxes, I’ve taken every avenue of resolution the company has suggested and YOY my mortgage continues to increase dramatically. I am a realtor I have clients an friends who pay the same taxes with homes twice the value of mine never protested taxes and do not experience the dramatic Increases I’ve experienced. I’ve spoken to a member of every single department no one can or is willing to. Explain in detail how this occurs to us every year, they have no clear resolution or recommendations that solve or help explain what’s happening. I’ve given my documentation to loan officers, other realtors and no one can understand or explain how the mortgage company calculates the escrow shortages. I’m still protesting my taxes for this year how can they assess a shortage in my escrow due to tax increase if the appraisal district hasn’t even come to an agreement on the value of the home to tax? I’ve been hung up on, ignored, left on hold for over an hour yo be told they will do a re analysis and never send me any documentation, never get a follow up call. I’m about to lose my home bc of these outrageous increases and I still have no idea the root cause. I’m seriously considering seeking legal counsel bc I’ve never experienced such a lack of communication, and dramatically increased fees without clear explanations and documentation. I don’t even have documentation to upload bc the only notice I’ve ever received from them is a monthly statement and a notice changes have been made to my account 3 months after the change occurs. Never received a paper statement saying there was and escrow analysis. And why are Analysis completed less than 30 days after the cut off date to protest taxes? How could they have an accurate assessment of fees at that time?

      RUN FOR THE HILLS WITH THIS COMPANY! We were involuntarily switched to this company. We are unable to make partial payments. We did so on the phone for 3 months only to be told my customer service their employees were "breaking policy." They offer no resolution, customer service is not aware of company policy, and they never help you reach a solution. ABSOLUTE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY YOU WILL EVER HAVE THE BANK GIVE YOU! If you are able to, refinance immediately and go with someone else to get out of their messes!! R-U-N RUN!!!!

      On June 4th, I contacted ****** ********* on Facebook regarding a Taylor Swift ticket she had. I paid her $400 for one ticket. I followed up with her and she said I needed to buy an additional ticket so I paid another $400. She never delivered the ticket. M&T said my dispute was denied because I authorized the charges. I didn't authorize the charge and I would like my $800 back.

      I opened a new 18 month CD in December 2022 with 4% interest. To this date, June 2023, my CD with M&T is still not reflecting any accrued interest balance. I have called the Bridgeport branch and Wethersfield branch where I opened the account and told it should show up in new statement. I have physically gone into Wethersfield four times and they keep telling me someone needs to flip a switch to turn it in as it may not have been activated however I am told the people there at the time don’t have authorization. Other times, I’ve been told you can sit here and wait to speak to the only person who can help you in that first office but she has multiple people she’s dna d may be a 2-3 hour wait. Then after I got upset because I was told to wait yet again, they told me it will be resolved and they will have someone handle it and next statement will show all my accrued interest from date of deposit in December. I have been waiting patiently for 6 months and I still do not have my accrued interest showing online or in the paper statements. I would like this resolved asap please.

      On 6/2/2023 M&T bank created several transfers from my checking accounts to my other M&T accounts that were not authorized or scheduled by me. to date I'm still waiting to get my $ 1,200.00 put back into my checking account so I can pay my bills. No body I talk to at M&T can give me any answers.

      I reviewed my Consumer Reports and noticed that there was an inaccurate account(s) on my credit report

      Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with maximum accuracy.

      I contacted "M&T Bank " and asked for them to investigate & remove the inaccurate account from my consumer report that they are illegally reporting and I requested specifically the alleged original application bearing my signature and they have not been able to provide such proof to me.

      This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can't be verified by any evidence or proof.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am writing in regards to the late payment credit filing that was recently reported on my credit report. The mailing that I received today, indicating that M&T Bank had mailed a letter to me regarding my mortgage company changing. I would like to bring to your attention that I did not reside at the address specified - ***** ***** ***** **** **** ***** ****** ** ***** - as of October 21, 2022. Attached herewith is proof of my residence for the year 2022, which clearly validates my presence in a different state other than ***** ****** **. I did not receive any information or letter regarding my mortgage being transferred, contrary to what was noted in the credit report investigation. Given the above, I dispute the late payment filing on my credit report and respectfully request that it be reversed. I would like to remind you that under credit law, it is illegal to submit inaccurate or false information. The information that was submitted back to me is incorrect and false. Thank you for your prompt response to this matter.       Dear M&T Bank,  I am writing in response to the credit bureau dispute regarding the 30-day delinquency reported on my mortgage account. I respectfully request that M&T Bank re-evaluate this delinquency and update my credit report accordingly as it has caused significant harm to my credit score.  As previously stated, I did not reside at the address specified on October 21, 2022, and therefore did not receive the notification letter that M&T Bank claimed to have mailed. The documentation that I provided clearly validates my residence in a different state, and therefore it is not reasonable to assume that I received this notification. As a result, I did not have the opportunity to adjust my payment process to account for the change in servicing and any associated delays.   Additionally, it is important to note that while the payment was received 30 days late, it was not reported as such due to the transfer of my mortgage account. This indicates that M&T Bank recognizes the impact that the transfer may have had on payment timelines. It is only fair that the same consideration be given in the reporting of the delinquency.  I request that M&T Bank provide further investigation regarding the notification letter and provide proof that the letter was in fact mailed and received. Based on the evidence provided, it is not reasonable to assume that the late payment was intentional or due to lack of effort on my part.  It is crucial that credit reporting is accurate and complete to ensure fair access to credit and financial services. The negative impact of this delinquency is significant and has caused undue hardship.       I opened an account online and put my check in the account about 3 days later I have no access to the account and I was told that the check was sent to the fraud department however nobody knows where my money is they are giving me the run around and im not happy and I want my money or they can write me a new check

      Consumer filed a duplicate complaint which was merged into this one: 
      Problem:  I deposited a check in my account on 5/30 the money was available for a few days and all of a sudden my account was locked and I was told its with the fraud department and to go to the branch to figure out what happened I went to the branch and they told me to contact the fraud department so I did and I just been getting the run around this has been going on for some time and I need to know whats going on. If they are going to close the account I would like my money back

      I deposited 2 checks may 26th 2023, 4 hrs later when i went to check the status of my acct. it was placed on hold. got a letter a wk later stating my acct. would be clear in 5 days. 13 days later I have no answers from anyone, (2) The checks have cleared but there is still a hold on my acct. and no one will give me an explanation for this. I have talked with at least 15 different people and they give me answers that do not help me.I really need this issue cleared up asap. I am a single parent and shit is hard enough and now I cant food on the table or pay the rent.
