Terrible costumer service. Reps are rude and not helpful. Even when trying to ask a simple questions their “verification” process is a joke and they will cut you off and not help you.

1 starI’ve been using this bank since for a long time and haven’t had any issues until these recent years. They would by pass fraudulent charges and charges that were physically me would get denied. When calling for the fraudulent charges, representatives would either make me feel like I’m a the issue or not even deactivate the card causing more fraud charges. Some wouldn’t even let me finish speaking just simply talking over me. I’d advise to go elsewhereReview fromMatthew K

Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. They keep reversing our loan payments and blaming the other two banks. If it was just one bank I might agree. But when the funds are coming from two different sources each using two different methods, they are the problem.M&T Bank

1 starNot sure where to begin. I started a mortgage loan application in late may 2024 and the whole process was bad from the start. the underwriting department asked me to do a list of things so i would qualify for the loan. They made me pay off a 0% car loan, pay all my credit cards in full, put extra money towards the deposit. Keep in mind my credit score was 885 and i have no debt other than every day expenses. I also have 2 houses that are paid in full. I provided all documentation verifying my income. After 4+ months of going back and forth i was denied the loan and now lost the house. Extremely disappointing since i can't get anyone to call back and I'm now waiting 3 weeks for an email response just to get an explanation. Its pretty sad that i was a 30+year customer of that branch and get treated in such a way.Review fromwilliam d

Biggest idiots to ever run a bank. They blocked dozens of our transactions causing us problems with ******* ******, and all our creditors. They said the fraud department was doing its job????? No, a fraud department should not be flagging suspicious activity, instead to make it look like they are doing their job they randomly block sales. I am left in real debt because of these aholes.
