I recently took my car to Mr. Tire in Middletown, DE on Monday 1 July for them to repair my A/C unit. I was told it would only take 24 hours for the repair. I called the next day, no answer, I left a message, not return call. I call again the following day and was told my vehicle repair was running behind and my car was the next one up and it should be done about 2 hours. I call back in 3 hours, the person answering the phone was clueless then told me the repair was complete they are for an invoice adjustment. Finally they state that it should be done shortly before close of business on 3 July. I call again shortly before close of business to inquire on the status of the vehicle, they say that have not even started working on it yet. I decide to go to the shop. As I approach the shop, I see my car in their rear parking area, unsecured with my windows down. I immediately go into the shop, tell them what I saw and demanded my keys. Upon getting in my car, all seats were re-adjusted beyond adjusting to relocate the car, to include my steering wheel. I will never bring my car to this shop. The service is deplorable and nothing of it had a focus on the "customer"! They lack professionalism, communication and responsiveness! All the things you want when having one of your most valuable assets serviced!Monro, Inc.

I took my car to a Mountain View Tire location for a simple oil change. Been using them for years for all my cars. This time, someone didn't tighten the oil drain plug which fell out a couple months after my oil change and drained my cars oil and seized the engine. Had it towed to a mechanic nearby who gave me a rough estimate for a new engine of $10K. He gave a write up of what he found and the drain plug was missing at the time of arrival from the tow. My car has been sitting now for almost 3 weeks at Mountain view Tire, they keep telling me someone from claims will be reaching out but I've heard nothing and I'm the one who reaches out each time and never get a callback. If i don't hear back in 24 hours I will have my attorneys reaching out. This corporation does not care for its customers at all.Monro, Inc.

Horrible experience. This guy behind the desk named Gregory made no effort in helping me. I ordered some tires on **** *****, and they were the installers of these new tires. He told me he was too busy to help me. I highly don't recommend this location and be careful with this guy Gregory. He made me unwelcome and unsafe. And he threatened me. He called the cops on me for trespassing. I wanted my tires back and he refused to give them to me and had to make other arrangements to get them in order to return them.Monro, Inc.

1 starTire Choice on Airline highway is the absolute worse! I've gone there on 3 separate occasions and have gotten zeo service. The sign in the door/ online and phone all say they close at 7pm. I pulled up at 5:05pm with a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT for 5:30pm. The manager unlocks the door and tells me he does have any employees there. But, there's 2 cars in the bay and the sign in the window states they close at 7pm. The manager then tells me that he "doesn't care what the sign says." Just rude and unacceptable. This place of business has loss my business. I will NEVER have them work on my car again. I also have stats with a life time warranty on them that I can't get thru **** **** cause they have the warranty under their name just to try and get more business! They had an awesome deal until the manager wanted his pay from me as well.
I was told they had a buy one get one free for my size tires. Which I was so excited about till he said that it was $31 a tire to put on, I know that is up there but figured it was still a great deal. Then he gives me a quote for $536 or $566. I only heard the 5 then six cause I was flabbergasted that he was trying to get more for installation than tires. I said $31 times 4 does not make it that much $374 only. So he then is fumbling his words and comes out with yea we have to get $20 a tire for insurance. What that still does not make it over $500. Not even close. So then I knew that he was not going to budge on it. Why do they think that they can charge extra money when they have a promotion or sale is beyond greedy and disgusting. Why do the consumers and general public have no rights to their freedoms, money. They should not be allowed in power as well. But we know who bought their way when they should have been on trialMonro, Inc.

1 starI bought a ******* for an oil change with one of their brances. The manager at the branch did not look at it correctly and charged me extra because according to her i bought a synthetic blend when I bought a full synthetic. Complete brake job done, within 200 miles brakes grinding and pedal goes to the floor. Brake job cost over $1300.
Took it back they can’t fix it. Manager told me to get a refund. The car is not safe to drive.

I spoke to 3 different people at corporate and they all said it was my problem.
I am getting a full refund from my credit card company.
I am also waiting for the Ohio Attorney General to complete their investigation, giving a person a car back that the brakes don’t work is serious.

Very disappointed. I came in yesterday for an oil change. My appointment time was 9am but they didn't even look at it until 1pm I get it that you are busy but I don't understand why appointments are made if the vehicle is just going to sit there for 4 hours. When Cory called and started telling me everything that was wrong, including inner and outer tie rod, rear brakes and flushing my coolant and brake line I immediately handed the phone to my husband. He quoted my husband a price of $900. I made a quick phone call to a relative me make sure that was a good ballpark and when I called back he said he "misspoke" and one side would be $1300. At this point I was frustrated with the uncertainty of the price so I asked to pick up my van. I took it to a different establishment (who is MD state inspection certified) today to get a safety check done and they told me my tie rods didn't need replaced but the driver side looked like someone loosened it. They also said my rear brakes were fine and didn't need to be replaced. I am so upset about this. I'm glad there was a red flag with the price because I feel like you were just going to make unnecessary repairs. I guess my $113 oil change was not enough.Monro, Inc.

In a nutshell – our experience at Mr. Tire would have been resolved if we had a simple, “I apologize” rather than excuses for bad customer service. And they're responses to customer complaints on this site is a joke. "Please call us toll free at ###-###-####." Not even a phone number.
I made an appointment at 9:30 a.m. for my father on Monday, June 24 at the Mr. Tire located at 13807 Warwick Blvd., in the Denbigh section of Newport News. I chose this service center because my husband and I have had our vehicles serviced here for a few years now with no issues. We were told it would take an hour to have two tires put on. There were several people already waiting for their vehicles and I asked that others coming in not be put ahead because we're leaving the car and coming back. He assured me that that wouldn't happen. After receiving no phone call by noon, then calling and no one answering the phone we drove up at 12:30. The car hadn't been touched. The manager didn't apologize for inconveniencing us -- he only had excuses. The car ahead was just finished, he said. I asked him why he didn't call to let us know they were running behind -- that would have saved us a trip. He said he didn't have time to call. He then walked away and said he didn't have to listen to us. Once he said that, we exchanged some heated words. He was a young guy, 20 or early 30s. Some businesses just don't care about standing by their word (he said 1 hour), or good customer service anymore (no phone call, no apologies just excuses. I sent a message to Mr. Tire's customer service. No reply. I looked up the company on The Better Business Bureau website and they're not even accredited. For a company that's been in business since the 1970s and my recent experience, it's very telling why they're not accredited on the BBB website.Monro, Inc.

There should be a negative rating. They stripped the bolts on my tires 2x. The first time was so bad that they snapped off when I took my car to one of the other locations. The person who worked on it said if I had hit a curb or pothole my tire could have popped off. The second location tightened them too much again, and when I inspected my car, the shop had to replace the bolts. I called customer service and no response. They also tried to charge me over $100 for an oil change that normally cost me under $60.
I'm not sure how this company hasn't seen multiple lawsuits. It's insane they cause damage and don't amend the situation. I learned my lesson and won't go back to them again. But I'm considering reaching out to a small claims court or something because there is no way their practices are legal. They need to be held accountable before they cause a serious accident.Monro, Inc.
