      Ever since Jimmy has left this place has gone downhill in a major way. This place is now scamming people out their money. They tried to give me a quote stating I needed repairs done and then tried to get me to pay for it that day, but I declined until I spoke with Jimmy, whom is no longer at that location so I spoke with a Steven/Melissa whom stated I should bring the car back in and they will take a look. I dropped my car off a few days later to get the repairs done only for them to backtrack and say nothing was wrong. The estimate was for $730 for my front brakes and rotors, and now I am being told nothing was wrong. What if when she asked me for payment I paid? I then spoke with Steven/Melissa the next day to clarify all that has been going on and they both gave me excuses, tried to blame the old crew for giving me the quote. As a Manager I expected more. It was literally a pass off game, and no accountability was taken. It definitely seems like a scam. I am just happy I didn't pay up front because I would have never known. There was a mechanic named Mark whom was kind enough to show me why I didn't need new brakes or rotors on my actual car which furthermore peaked my interest as to why I was ever given a quote for $730. This place isn't what it used to be, avoid at all cost.

      Brought our car in for repair. Two times exactly to Monro Muffler in North Adams Ma, for a coolant leak. Ended up bringing it to the ***** dealer . They confirmed in their professional opinion that the hose that connects to the thermostat housing for coolant was tightened to much and cracked the thermostat. Monroe denied any wrong doing. Since then Monro Muffler fired or released all employees and is under a new name. So I'm left with a 800.00 bill. Not including what it cost me at monro . I sure as hell didn't get under there and do the work. I feel someone in corp. should stand up and take some responsibility! I have the part they took out with the cracks.

      On 3/28:’Monroe charged me $1151.08 to fix my car by replacing O2 sensor and Throttle body, since my didn't drive more than 20
      Miles . But when they returned my car with same problem told that it needs pedal
      Sensor now. So i took this car to car fix to diagnose further and replace pedal sensor . They fix some electrical repair and replace pedal sensor but told me in writing that the problem still didnt resolved since Monroe didt replace the Throttle body correct. I took car again back to Monroe but they told me that now it needs ECB replaced and didnt correct the throttle body . The initial problem with my ****** ***** still the same and not running more than 20 miles .. I burnt out with money and back and forth with nothing accomplished . My money is gone and car problem still the same as initial problem. Plz

      Poor Customer Service*No Resolution*REPORTING SERVICE ON WRONG VIN*. I own a ****** ******. I am 2nd owner of ******; the first owner must be continuing service at Monro in E Amherst NY. Store is recording service still on my vin # vs the new the vin for this person's new vehicle. When dealer pulled the ****** it reports that there was service on my vin number: 8/23, 12/23,03/24. Each of appt recorded lower odometer readings. Called the store; spoke to Charlie 4/4/24. Puzzled-he said he would research & call me back. I never received a return phone call from him. On Wednesday, April 10th, I called customer service at corporate office (was transferred around a couple times, disconnected) and finally spoke to a supervisor named Teresa who (flatly and without any further opportunity to discuss) told me Monro is unable to assist me; that Monro has over 1600 locations and there is nothing that can be done; that they could not help me. I requested that it be corrected for the future to stop the issue since they instructed me that I needed to call ****** myself to correct the errors. I am so disappointed in the lack of attention and complete disregard for this issue. It is very seldom that an experience is so bad that you need to file a complaint. I have filed a discrepancy/correction with ******. I called the dealer for assistance, as well, and they too were flabbergasted by Monro’s lack of responsibility and mishandling of this scenario. Good customer service would have offered a solution or series of steps so that we can correct it together instead of being rude and disrespectful. I am sure that mistakes happen like this and that I am not the first person to have incorrect service reported on a vin number, however, assistance should be provided to correct the situation caused by the store’s continued errors and that a responsible organization would provide assurance that it would be corrected for the future, as well as, assistance in correcting the wrong info.

      They changed my oil went into settings and screwed up my truck and refuse to acknowledge it.They hang up on me everytime i called,I had to go to the dealer to fix what they did to my truck out of my pocket.Never go to the gates store or anyother to save a buck.Never will I spend a penny on those scamers.

      Terrible business practices! Schedule an appointment to have new tires installed. When I arrive I’m greeted and asked what I can be helped with. I say I have an appointment at 4. Reads my name off and says do you have the tires. Clearly no as that’s what I am there for. Says he can have them there tomorrow same time for service then give me an estimate $900 dollars more then what I was quoted on line saying the company does that to get u in the door. I’m not even supposed to tell u an actual out the door price. Online prices $1055.92 in store $1927.17

      I just paid 1843 dollars on 4/6/24 for 2 tire rods, spark plugs, and wheel alignment. Next day Sunday drop off. Monday get a call from Brian he tells me 1400 more dollar talking about control arms and ball joints what. I said I just paid 1843. Now I’m speaking Eric I told him I’m contacting BBB the price went from 1400 to 600 now I ask for corporates # he puts me on hold comes back 483 is the lowest I can go. I said I don’t want to pay for you guys mistake he then yells to the guys to stop working on my truck. I told Eric I need my truck so just do what you’re doing. So I paid another 483 for mount and balance of tires but why when I just had a wheel alignment they did a brake fluid exchange, and a caliber but on the bottom of receipt it sets Customer refuse wheel alignment, control arm joints, and brake hose are you f/&:ing kidding. And today is 4/11/24 truck still shaking and now leaking brake fluid ??. I spoke with corporate yesterday they offered to give me back 483. So this morning I call Liz she just little person I told her I want to speak to someone higher up. Theresa the supervisor who I explain my story she says take it somewhere else to get diagnostic what I just spent 2336 dollars I don’t have it so I say well send me my 483 so I can take it somewhere else she tells me I declined refund I said how. She is telling me when I ask to speak to her that was a decline for refund. I then told her I was recording my conversation she hung up. Called back spoke with Liz and the nerve of her to tell me they don’t come to work to be abused had to kindly put her in her place now everyone has a boss unless it’s you. I want a boss over Theresa so she transfer me to a Miss M******* voice mail left message today. I am a child of GOD y’all will not play with me I filed my complaint with the BBB and Consumer Affairs and I am willing to go to news outlet. A friend loaned me the1000 dollars they were not even suppose to take a payment over the phone she was not even there.

      The district manager DEB gave me a terrible experience at my 2nd time in 2 months visiting this shop. Received a repair a month ago and was guaranteed my sounds and exhaust were fixed. 2 weeks later the same thing and typical service engine light come on which has NEVER come on in my car. Then today they tell me I need to pay another 875 after paying 700 a month before. That wasn’t the upsetting part. It was the handling of DEB. DEB muffled under breath and interrupted conversation with the mechanic twice rushing me to make a decision. When I asked if I could tell her about my previous experience she declined and muffled under her breath to just pay. I asked if we could negotiate the labor and she screamed “YOU CAN TRY”.. after I gave a price and why she slammed a paper down and demanded the mechanic put my car down and give me my keys and kept muffling under her breath. I don’t care where you work but give customer service and some respect when people come to spend money at your establishment. I asked for a card for this location, she said she didn’t have one because it has her wrong number and that she has 15 locations “so it doesn’t matter”. If this is customer service I will make sure to leave reviews on all Mr.Tire/Monro auto centers. This shop is down the street from my house, I will also make sure word of mouth goes around to never go to this shoo. The mechanics were calm and explained things while an emotional manager walked around like she was actually doing the work. Pathetic

      An untrained tech "repaired" my tire and damaged my car in the process costing me over $600 and they have refused to reimburse me. If I could give negative stars, I would.

      Had a check engine light on the car. Brought it in the 1st time and got charged $500, didn’t resolve the light. Brought it in a 2nd time, charged $200, didn’t resolve the check engine light issue. Talked with the manager and he told me he would just charge for the part a 3rd time around. Made an appointment for Friday in the morning. Guy that morning asked “when is the latest you need it done by?” I told him 5pm would be great, he said sounds good. Came back at 5pm and he told me it wasn’t done. I asked him why and he said he had 14 other cars ahead of mine. I asked him why he couldn’t have told me this morning that it might not be done by 5pm? He then throw the keys at me and said to get out of his shop. Would not work with me on another time we could bring the car back in.
