Awful Service, Avoid at All Costs!
Purchased 4 new ******** tires from ****** with prepaid installation. Yet, at the shop, they had the audacity to charge me again. ****** confirmed this shop uniquely overcharges customers. Post-installation, one tire began leaking. When I sought help, Manager Kevin barely looked up from his computer, brushing me off to “fix my wheels” elsewhere. There was no issue before their botched job!
I tried resolving this three times, willing to pay, but was met with blatant disregard. Their customer service is a joke. This is my first negative review, driven by their sheer incompetence and greed. Steer clear of this placeMonro, Inc.

1 starI’ve taken my van to this store for service and repairs several times. I had not experienced any issues until it was discovered during one of the service appointments the Intake was not put back on correctly and eventually I started noticing a miss in the engine. I came back for inspection and discovered my van would not pass the emissions inspection. After taking the van to the ***** dealership in Auburn, I was advised of the intake just laying loose and now I need to replace head, gasket and intake, for a total of just over $4,000 . I feel Monroe is responsible and have paperwork to prove it. They discovered the problem prior to going to ***** and want me to pay to fix their screwup. I wondered why every time I went in, there was a manager. Attorney on retainer.Review fromNatalie F

I had ordered tires through a tire vendor and they were sending them to a local preferred installer and Mr. tire was the closest and the first one on the list so I just chose them. Keep in mind, when I paid for the tires this included the installation charges for the preferred vendor I chose.. Well, once I had shown them the official paperwork showing the installation fees were prepaid they took my car and proceeded to do the work. Not until the after the services were completed did they proceeded to tell me there will be an additional $24.99 for each tire installation. WTF? I had already paid the $29.99 installation fee with the purchase of my tires. of course as I said this was after they had my keys in my car and I was at their mercy! So obviously, I had to pay the additional $24.99 per tire before they would give me my keys and let me leave I was required to pay an additional $24.99 per tire just to get my keys in my car out of there! Can you say scam?
I'm looking into this and I will get down to the bottom of it as I attempt to get my money reimbursed. If that doesn't happen I will find a way to have that place shut down for their unlawful business practices!Monro, Inc.

I called to get a charge disputed/removed from my card. I purchased 3 new tires from the “Mr. Tire” company. However, when I got home, I realized that “Mr. Tire” only switched my old tires around and I never received the new tires. My total bill was over $1,000 dollars and I was only disputing the new tire charge (about half the cost) and not the rest of the work that was done on my car. After I left my ****** review, the owner of shop responded, but never offered to help recover the money for a purchase that didn’t happen.Monro, Inc.

Zero stars for **** ******** Ave, Kenmore NY. Took car for an oil change and noticed the next day oil leaking everywhere. Took to different mechanic who stated that it looks like they couldn’t get oil filter off, damaging it in process, causing little holes. Went back, talked to manager, who refused to give his name or corp telephone number and was rude and hostile. i brought filter (other mechanic removed and gave to me show show the damage that monro caused) and bill from other shop, with written notes from mechanic. Stated I wanted my money back. He said he needed to talk to corp and it will be a week or two before anything will be resolved. Fortunately, twenty mins after I left, he called to state they are refunding my money. Found number for corp, called five days in a row, still waiting for return call. Terrible oil change, terrible customer service. Will never go back and advise people never to go there,Monro, Inc.

I am more than 3 years customer. I went today for oil change and tire patch. They first guy at the front said 1 1/2 to be finish. I told them to give me a call to pick it up. After more than 1 1/2 hrs they gave me a call to pick it up. When i came back to pick up the car. The second guy at the desk gave me a bad customer service saying i am being rude to the first guy. So, i explain i am even smiling when i was talking to the first guy. Explaining to him that it is my first time seeing him. when i ask about the tire patch. The first guy did not report my request for the tire patch. Of course i was disappointed (esp. after i was told a mean customer) Being honest, i told the 2nd guy it is going to be my last. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. The 2nd guy answer me Ok!. Great customer service. Maybe, business is so good.Monro, Inc.

This review is for the Tire Choice at **** Williams Blvd Kenner, LA 70065
My son took his car in to diagnose a “Brake Alarm” problem.
The people that performed the work did satisfactory work on the coolant system and fan belts (not what he took it in for).
The people that interact with customers and convey the problems associated with the vehicles are not quite up to explaining what is wrong with the vehicle and what absolutely needs to be fixed or things that could be fixed at a later time.
They say they are honest people. Factually that is true, but here is the rest of the story. They seem to take advantage of people with a limited knowledge on automobiles. They will present problems/conditions in a way that makes it seems like it needs to be corrected immediately or bad things will happen as soon as the drive of the property. An example of this would be the shop says that the fan belts are cracked and needs to be changed (right away). The fan belts did have some weather cracks. They needed to be changed but not at the tune of $400 and most likely the belts would have lasted at least another year.
Let me give you an example:
The vehicle was taken to their shop with a ‘Brake alarm’ problem.
Next thing you know a radiator flush was performed and the belts were changed. The shop did get permission to do the work from two people (that aren’t that knowledgeable with vehicles). And nothing was mentioned about the ‘Brake Alarm’. They did fix the Brake Alarm by resetting the computer because the battery was disconnected and needed to be reset.
Another thing with the people from the shop is the way that they interact with customers. They need to more listen more and willing to admit when things could have been handled in a better way. They need to remember that the customer is paying them.
At this point in time, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.Monro, Inc.

Made an appointment to have my car inspected, but the check engine light was on. The employee said they would take a look and call me. Received a call a couple hours later saying there was an issue with misfiring and the front breaks/rotors needed to be replaced. Said it would cost a little over $1k. I approved the work. When I went to pick it up, they said the total was $1.9k, but didn't show me the invoice until after they charged me. They charged me 4 hours of labor to replace spark plugs, work that had been completed at another shop 1 year ago (spark plugs should last a lot longer than that). Also charged me for ignition coils (one of which was replaced a year ago) and the oil change and brake job. When I complained via review, they wrote me back and said "According to the shop the resonator fell off after the pipe it was connecting to the catalytic convertor was installed . The Muffler and resonator are covered by the warranty but the pipe from the resonator to the cat has to be replaced. The customer is under the impression that pipe is what is costing the $800 Either way the customer is asking for help with the price." None of that work was discussed or approved for my vehicle, and none of it was on the invoice either. Also, I never asked for help with the price, just think I was very unfairly overcharged for shoddy work. During every exchange with the employee Sheldon, he acted as if he was on drugs.Monro, Inc.
