I took my truck to Ken Towery’s Tire and Autocare #1215 in Danville, KY. On 1/24/2024 the appointment time was12pm. To investigate the transmission problem and oil leak. They told me it needs a new transmission and oil pan gasket. While working on my truck they broke the bolts on the exhaust manifold, so it had to be replaced. A week later I got my truck back. It drives fine the first day then on day two it won’t shift gear again and the truck would only go about 20 miles per hour and the shift lever won’t shift the gears. So, it had to be towed to Ken Towery’s in Danville. They messed up the linkage cable on the transmission and the vacuum hose fell off. Three days later I picked up my truck and drove home and it seemed fixed. But the next day I was going to Lowes and the truck won’t shift out second gear, So I had to take it back again. This time they said it was the transmission control module, so they replaced it. Then they broke the dipstick for the transmission. They called me and said the truck was fixed. I got there and it was still not shift out of second. Then they send the truck to Chevrolet shop to be look at. The transmission must be replaced again because third and fourth gear were out in it. They replaced the transmission, and they called me and said it was fixed. When I got there the truck wouldn’t go into reverse and the dipstick had come in yet. Now three days later the truck was fixed. I finally got my truck back on 3/11/2024.

I dropped my vehicle off at Free Service Tire in Bearden Hill in Knoxville Tennessee this morning for a routine oil change and tire patch between 830 and 9 this morning. I didn't hear anything by lunch, so I called a bit after 1 to check, and I was told that my car was being pulled into the bay that very moment. So, I got a ride to the store.,,..Where I discovered that my car hadn't been touched. I was lied to...If these folks lie about routine things like this, what else have they lied about...

I had one of the worst experiences ever with a business with Tire Warehouse in Ludlow Ma. and also with their corporate office Monro.
The problems were endless from being forced to buy a warranty on tires and they forgot to balance the wheels. When I contacted Monro corporate to solve the issues, they do not answer the phone or get back to you after multiple emails and attempts to call.

Mr Tire in Aberdeen MD is terrible!! The guy didn’t know what he was doing and told me 2-3 different things was wrong with my car and all I needed was an oil plug . Called my husband and I *******!! Got into a fight with my 60 year old husband and didn’t fix my car kept my money and I want my money back plus my tip I gave him . Tyler K******* was the one that was fighting my husband and calling him ****** once again !!! Terrible place to take your car to get an oil change and end up in a fight. The sorry manager did nothing at all . They got mad when my husband came up there because they were just telling me anything. My part cost 10.00$ and he gave me a quote of 450.$

I brought my van there because I had some fluid in my driveway under the vehicle. Not a lot. But after driving and parking I would see a small leak. They diagnosed a fan issue. No overheating mind you. Then they rediagnose and determined that it needed a water pump and a thermostat $1500. Ok. Had it done. Picked it up. Two hours later I am stuck in a gas station with the same leak only worse. Still no overheating but steam coming from the overflow. Had to add two gallons of anti freeze. Called them. They said to “limp it back” to them. They diagnose note with a pin hole in a hose connection. Ok. Fix that. Then after calling for three days with no answers. I finally call and get told that there is a fan issue. Another $500. Mind you this is over a 6 day period where they could not get parts or even answer the phone. When they answer I get put on hold for 20/30 mins. I have been going here for about 1 and a half years. All of my vehicles serviced here. They changed the manager and the service writers not long ago. I think they must be on commission. I feel scammed, lied to, and conned. I am about $2800 dollars into this so far for what I feel was just the fan issue. This is a 4 year old vehicle. I also had them look at another of my vehicles before all of this and they quoted $4500 for a repair that I just had quoted at about $2000. I would not have them work on my vehicles if they broke down in their parking lot. Do not use this place at all.

Showing results for Hi, I had an 2:30 appointment today at your Hudson,NH location for an oil change and was going to see if they could also do shocks/struts they had quoted last time. So here’s the problem I walk in I’m the only one in the waiting area 10 minutes goes bye and if the phone didn't ring the guy never would have came out. Then he tells me he can’t take me in they are too busy ( I made an appointment for a reason) He says if you wait it will be a long time. So I lost work overtime and a hour of my time today for nothing. Couldn't just do the oil change, I guess I’ll get shock/struts somewhere else. Thanks again

My problem stems from taking my car into the shop for a brake job that is not supposed to take two days and counting to complete a job. Originally I had my brake pad indicator light come on, so this is my reason for the service. On Monday (February 26, 2024)morning I went to see the availability of an appointment ( appointment was given for 12:30) at which I had left my vehicle there. Around 9:58 I received a call from the service representative saying that the technician had recommended a rotor replacement as well, I asked for a quote and they said around 1350.00 I then told him to go ahead with that services. As the day progressed I never received any updates from the center of any issues and they ended the day without any of their issues or information.
On Tuesday afternoon I went over to find out more details about my vehicle, at that time the representative told me they had not received parts and they were just arriving in, and they had other vehicles to work on. I asked them do you give customers update on any issues that may have an impact on completing repairs, as he asked if I wanted them more frequently. I said yes it seems that they would keep me updated on the status of service.
I then leave and received a call @1:48 pm( Tuesday afternoon) that they had a problem with a bolt or stud ceased and broke it at which the representative was saying was going to be a additional charge for repair, I disagree with that and he said he would discuss with the manager and give me a call back.
At this time upon sending this email no communication from anyone from the center and no response or update has been received. This is totally unacceptable and to have had my vehicle now going on two days. I demand some kind of action taken to resolve this issue and matter as I am filing a complaint to cooperate with the company for this matter.
To add on to this I returned to the service center to see what they have done, at which time ( approximately 6:30 Tuesday evening).

I’d put negative stars if I could. I brought my car in for an oil change and a tune up. It was just normal maintenance. My car ran smoothly when I drove it there and dropped it off. I got a call the following day stating that it was ready for pick up. As I was leaving the shop I noticed that the car was shaking. I looked at the dash and saw the check engine light was on. I pulled into a parking space and went back in to let them know the light was on.
The man behind the counter who I later found out is named David told me that it was on when I brought it in. When in actuality it was NOT on when I brought it in. Both Dan and David were very rude and argumentative. Dan, who is the store manager there actually tried to show me on a tablet where it showed that the light was on during check in. I already knew what he was showing me was a lie but it was further confirmed when I saw that Dan was the one listed as the person that inspected my car on the drop off date yet Dan told me himself that he wasn’t at the shop the day it was dropped off..
I ended up having my car towed to another shop. The other shop found that a spark plug was the issue. They fixed it and my car ran like it did prior to Mr. Tire touching it.
It’s odd how my car supposedly had the check engine light on when I dropped it off yet the issue was one of the spark plugs they just changed..
Before this situation I never thought to take a photo of my dash prior to dropping my car off but I will from now on and I will NEVER go to them again or recommend them.

We had our car repaired at the Tire Choice in Goose Creek, SC. the car started leaking oil again. We took it back, the mechanic checked it and said the leak was coming from somewhere else. Instead if letting them fix where he said the leak was coming from We took it to another car repair shop. The shop we took it to said what was done by Tire Choice wasn't done correctly. The manager of the Goose Creek, SC location is very unprofessional and immature. The corporate office said that they would have the DM to give us a call. It's been a week and we are still waiting to hear from their DM. My advice is to take your business to a place that stands behind their work. A place that if they make a mistake they are willing to correct it. A place that has level headed, professional, mature people as managers. This is a sincere review by

This place is horrible. My cars high temperature light came on and I panicked so thenext day I went to this place. I thought wow they really know what they are doing and when done I thought wow great my cars going to be fine. I did explain to them that I was having problems with my battery as well. The next day my car was dead and needed a jump. I was 45 minutes away from home. Got it charged and called them saying I was coming in. I arrived 45 minutes after i being jumped. They tested it saying 100 percent. well duh the alternator kicks in after 30 minutes. They refused to sell me a battery. Tuesday I drove to ***************** who said that Tire Choice should have never done anything with the water pump at ****** miles and also the valve cover was NOT leaking like Tire Choice said. After an hour it was determined by Ultima that the battery was draining voltage of the alternator and thats why my car keeps dying. It was the 2 year old battery causing all the problems. Now I have a ******* bill from them. I read some reviews on ******** and found an elderly lady had a similar problem with this company and that was under the old manager. The new manager **** is the one that caused the problem and was promoted to Manager. Do NOT go to this company they will rip you off. I NEVER asked them to do an inspection of my vehicle or a scheduled maintenence review or inspect the brakes but they did anyways.
