I had an appointment on Thursday at Monro Hudson, NH, to replace two rear shock absorbers on my car. This branch has significant problems with appointments. They kept me there from 10 am to 7 pm when I was told 2 hours max. This is not the first time this has happened. Another lady sat there for 4 hours to have her oil changed and four tires. She was so angry she said I would not come back here anymore. When I was there, so many people had the same problem. The people working inside the auto shops I asked them what’s the reason for the delay and they said that the company gives them less pay than ********’s, so they’re not satisfied. Gary K S******, store manager, even though he made my appointment for me on Saturday, he didn’t show up to work that day. After this, I decided to call the corporation and tell them about my concern. I called customer service on the website but unfortunately they kept me more than 40 min on wait, and nobody answered. I think the problem goes all over the company. I believe more profit comes with customer satisfaction. I hope the CEO Mr. Michael B******** finds a solution to the problem.

Had a transmission flush done on my vehicle. The mechanic told me it wasn’t going to be his fault if the car “blows up next week.”
They broke something in the line and my car leaked all of the new transmission fluid the next time I went out. My car will require costly repairs to remedy the situation if it can be salvaged at all

I was having trouble with my car starting, randomly. I took my car to Tire Choice in Morristown, Tn on a Saturday, and was told that the battery registered as bad. He then told me that it was going to cost $700 to replace the battery. When I looked up the battery online I found it at an auto parts store down the street for $259. I showed that to the service writer and he said, "Oh, well it will most likely be closer to $400 installed, I usually quote higher." I then asked for my car back and went and purchased a battery from the auto parts store. They could not install it because my battery is under my passenger seat. A friend has a battery tester and was going to install the battery for me. He said my battery tested fine. So we waited. On Monday morning I went to Interstate Battery just to have them test the battery, the battery and the alternator tested fine, however he suggested I take it to my mechanic as further testing may say differently. I dropped it off at my mechanic and he said everything "tested" fine, however there were several "voltage" codes so the battery most likely should be replaced as it was 8 years old! So, he replaced it and ran other tests, cleared the computer codes and only charged me $150. So I was in it with tax for $400. Most likely, had the guy at Tire Choice started with that price he would have had the sale. Since I think he was just trying to see if I would pay the $700, he has lost a customer and I will be telling everyone how he tried to rip off a widowed 63 year old female. Luckily my dad did not raise an idiot!

Monro tire in Huntington Indiana 46750, uses an arbitrary and capricious labor fee standard. They charged me $536.40 just in labor fees for a job that took less than 2 hours to do. I can't say exactly how long the mechanic worked on my car because every time the business phone would ring he stopped working on my car to answer it, this happened at least 3 times. While also working on my car he took about 20 minutes to unload a delivery truck of tires, so I would say total actually working on my car was less than an hour and a half. Avoid Monro Tire at all cost or they will overcharge for labor, and possibly parts.

Replaced (4) tires, said my (4) struts were leaking and need replacement (they do not leak), also said my front left wheel bearing was bad (other shop replaced it just months ago). Quote over $3,000 of unnecessary repairs. I took back to the other shop that had just done front end work and got photos, showing how a (newer) front left axle nut was loose, despite that shop having staked it into a keyway when they did my front end work. If it did not loosen in a few months of driving, then Monroe loosened it to make the bearing appear to be bad. I drove on it this way for a week before I could get the nut tightened and again staked in place to prevent loosening. I also learned that my wheel nut torques varied from hand-tight to overtorqued, that my tire pressure was 37 psi average versus 51 psi maximum allowable per this tire model, needed to meet my load rating. Suspicious new and unusual aluminum rim damage was also found.

went there last week for a slow leak in my tire, the guy at the desk came out and looked at my tire, he said something I did not hear and I said what's that? then he yelled loudly "you have a piece of glass in the tire", got up and said "to much wear on the edge, I won't repair that" and walked back in the tire shop. extremely rude and unprofessional, will never go back there. went to **** **** ****, they plugged the tire, said tires were fine. when I need replacement tires it will not go to at Monroe Tire.

Went in for oil change & NYS Inspection, weird how now it needed front brakes & rotors, which okay might be. Two weeks later, same place Brewerton Rd in Cicero second car how strange??? Was told same thing.
Then first car now brakes give, lifted the lid none off the caps we’re put back on the car, brake fluid spilled out found the cap i between the fuse box & air filter.
Robbery is one thing, being lazy & careless with someone’s safety!!
Do better, wear a mask & a dunce cap. Monro In Cicero, NY

I dont advise anyone to get any services through this location. Found out from another auto center that the my oil plug bolt was stripped as to why I couldn’t get serviced for oil change. I was shown by a ******* employee that my oil plug was stripped. Was instructed to take back where it was last serviced at which was Monro tires. Took car back to Monro explained what I was told then one of the guys behind the desk said if I get oil changed there he’d put on a new oil plug. I paid for oil change that evening. Next day I went to do some ***********. After two deliveries the oil light came on. So I came back to Monro tires. It started to leak the light kept coming on and off. One of the guys there said oh the oil filter is faulty so he put a new one on. Meanwhile it was still leaking. I asked why was it doing such and was told idk its just the A/C sweating but the a/c wasnt on. Went home after he assured itll stop. Next day I noticed a wet spot under car. Went to work came back ans noticed it leaked while at work in parking lot. Drove back to Monro all for them to lift car up and down a few times to one jump in the driver seat revving the engine while another guy was under car with a flash light spraying a blue can under my car. Told me it just the filter housing needed to be cleaned around the gasket seal. And that it’ll stop leaking. Gets home and it’s running like crazy than before. Calls them back they don't answer til i call from a number not listed on my acct. Got the run around acting as if they didn’t damage something as to why my car leaks but should stop. Was told my car wont lock up. If i could give a less than 1 star i would. They take advantage of women who dont know much about cars.

If i'd rate 0 stars i would. My elderly disabled grandfather went to this place to get an oil change. They had a special going where they gave a free tire rotation. He got quoted $73. They charged him over $400 for a mistake that they made. They ended up using a pneumatic lug wrench on his tires and stripped the hub bearing bolts AFTER he told them not to use the pneumatic lug wrench because he's had this happen multiple times. They charged him $333 just for the hub bearing bolts. Will not be going here ever again and i will be spreading the word everywhere.

October 5, 2021 my new tires were put on at **** S. 27th Street Milwaukee WI 53221. Every time I needed an oil change I went this location because it states on their website that with "every oil change all 4 tires are rotated." In addition to the website stating this I always reminded the front desk worker to rotate my tries. On May 30, 2023 I was informed that I needed 2 front tires, but recommended 4 new tires. I was driving on 2 front bald tires that they couldn't be put in the back due to safety. I had 50,000 miles tires for only 1 year and 7 months because the tires were not rotated. After talking with the front technician he tried to blame other companies for not rotating my tires, and I agreed with him "I only come to this location." Your technicians didn't rotate them at all in 1 year 7 months. I trusted your company and your technicians" to fulfill what is mentioned on the website, all tires are rotated during each oil change. He then went on to say that "he has to keep an eye on his men working because they don't always follow through". Lastly, he then said he could have a green flashing light go off whenever they look up my account. This sure doesn't make me feel any better knowing that it takes so much to complete something that is supposed to be done according website. In addition to being disappointed with this location, I am also disappointed with corporate. I tired to explain that I wouldn't need 4 new tires if my tires were rotated. Corporate could only focus on pro-rating the tires. Corporate said they would call me back but didn't so I had to contact them instead. I sure wasn't a priority to them or a valued customer. If you want a trusted facility to work on your car you should take it somewhere else because I was driving my children and their friends in an unsafe vehicle 1 year 1/2 after getting brand new tires.
