No hand soap in the customer bathroom. I reported this to the manager Joe and he got right up in my face and told me he did not like my attitude and I shouldn't be so quick to open my mouth, in regards to what his management responsibilities were. Joe then questioned if I was trying to get him fired. I explained to manager Joe I was **** 10 Certified and he was in violation of a health code.

Tire Choice in New iberia Louisiana. My car had a popping noise in the front passenger side tire area. Was told I needed lower control arms and ball joint replaced. They did both sides of the car. Now, I have no suspension in the front of the car. Every little bump slams all through the dashboard like the car is sitting on the frame. I was charged 2500.00 and they completely destroyed my front suspension. Now I have a lawyer involved. The car is undrivable.Monro, Inc.

I went there to fix my car AC as it was blowing hot air. First they changed a valve and charged almost $400 for that saying the issue is fixed. It stopped blowing cold air after 3 days. I visited again and they said there is no issue and refilled freon. It stopped blowing cold air after 3-4 days again. After that I had to go 2 more days, left the car from morning to evening but they could not figure out the issue. It was hugely inconvenient that I had to **** back and forth to their place without my car. They jus didn’t have the expertise to figure out the issue and did not admit it. The fixed something which was not an issue and charged for it. I lost all faith in them and would highly discourage their service. Just for comparison, I went to the ***** dealership who fixed the issue in 3 hours.Monro, Inc.

Visited a Monro in State College, PA due to needing a state inspection while transferring my cars to PA from another state. Also, needed brakes done. They JUST started to show signs of needing to be done.
Monday of my appointment: I was there for 5.5 hours waiting for the inspection and brakes to be done. Was given an 1800 dollar bill including things that were not necessary for passing of state inspection. (While sitting for 5.5 hours I saw the new store manager create similar bills for multiple customers waiting.) My brakes were completed - rotors advised to not needing replacement at all. But they needed a part for my catalytic converter that wouldn't arrive until the next day.
They went to great lengths to advise that my CV axle on the drivers side needed replacing. And asked if I could come back the next day when they had parts to complete the remainder of work. I had to oblige as I needed my inspection sticker. I was promised if I came first thing it'd be done asap.
Tuesday (the next day): I arrived first thing, brakes were GREAT! Just needed to have the part for the catalytic converter put on. And then they were going to replace the axle After 6 hours... They found that replacing the axles on both sides did not improve what the mechanic thought was wrong. I had them put the car back together with original parts. As it wasn't necessary to replace them. My bill was already $1800.
Upon leaving the front end of my car shook like it was out of alignment. I went home to tend to important things and found it pulling all over. I called the shop, the new store manager advised me to come back. The district manager test drove my care and said he didn't notice any vibration. And advised I probably need rotors. Even though my car was driving perfectly fine that morning. Before they tore out and put back in the Cv axle on both sides. I was advised to drive it about 50 miles (which I had already done going back to the shop) and it'd clear up.
AWFUL company.Monro, Inc.

I have been a loyal 'Tire Barn' customer since the 1980s. I have been pleased with both the product and the service. In fact, I was talking with the manager while a '***** Tire' was being built across the road. He said a lot of stores were losing customers to them. I asked why anyone would leave.
This past Monday I found out. My wife and daughter were going out of town and I stopped at store #1125 in Camby, to get a rotate and balance. The man at the counter said it would be $39.95 and I asked why it wasn't free. He said there was no record of my vehicle in the computer. I asked what he meant as I have brought that car in several times. He said that license plate and that car weren't in the system and asked if I had any paperwork.
I told him I had paperwork at home and drove 15 miles home and 15 miles back to the store to show him that I had gotten the rotate and balance on that vehicle. He said 'that is not a receipt'. I replied that he did not say he needed a receipt he merely asked for paperwork. I took my papers and left the store. On the drive home it occurred to me that he had just accused me of lying in order to get my tires rotated.
I found the receipt, which shows that I purchased tires with a 100,000 mile warranty and paid for a Lifetime Install Package which includes lifetime balancing, lifetime rotation and lifetime tire repair. Currently the tires have a little over 40,000 miles, nowhere near their warranted tread life.
I don't know if it is that store in particular or 'Tire Barn' in general that has decided that it is perfectly okay to arbitrarily delete customer records off their computers while the customers warranties are still in effect. It is not okay with me however.
I have four vehicles with tires I purchased from that store. I will bring them in for the free rotate and balance, but when they need new tires, it is highly unlikely I will purchase them from 'Tire Barn'.Monro, Inc.

Tried to upsell me for an entire brake job on my truck by failing my inspection. Told me that front and rear pads were completely gone and all rotors were badly worn/damaged, "chunks missing" was the quote. Immediately picked up my truck and took it to a trusted mechanic and he confirmed that rear pads were worn but not completely shot and that fronts are good and all 4 rotors are in great shape. These sleazeballs could have just said that I needed rear pads and I would have gladly had them do that. But instead they will be reported to the NYS Attorney General and BBB.Monro, Inc.

I had my catalytic converter and O2 sensor replaced at Monroe New London. After the work was done the "check engine light " remained on. I asked the guy why he said it wasn;t his problem. I asked him if my car would pass inspection, he would not answer.Well it didn't! Had to bring my car to a certified emissions repair shop. At the shop they diagnosed the problem as a bad O2 sensor and I was faced paying an additional $561.00. What a rip off Monroe is! My name is *** ******* and if they cared they would contact me at xxx-xxx-xxxxMonro, Inc.

1 starThis place is a scam…my husband took our car in after getting a nail in his tire. They charged him for a repair and said it was fine now. He had issues with tire pressure ever since, and took it to a ****** store. They said the nail was still there, and there were no signs of an attempted repair. We could’ve gotten In a wreck with our newborn. Places like this Cherry hill location should no longer be in business. It is reckless and our baby could’ve gotten hurt because of their negligence.Review fromBrittany F

1 starI have always taken good care of my car. Never had any issues for the 10
years I've had it. I decided randomly one day to get my oil change here.. WHAT A MISTAKE!
I went for the oil change and they seized my engine.
Not only did they ruin my car, when I returned because it wouldnt drive past 20mph and sounding like a dying cat
THEY LAUGHED AND CRACKED JOKES ABOUT THE MECHANIC BEING INCOMPETENT!
This car is my life line. I clean houses for a living. Now I'm out of a car, and out of a job. I have 4 kids that depend on me working and thanks to Monroe auto I will not even be making my rent this month!
I want my car fixed or replaced.Review fromMargaret T

1 starI was given half of my estimate and was told the other issue wasn’t a big issue (o2censor) so I was quoted for just my brakes and rotors just the front for 450..once he was done with my censor and brakes he called back asking for over 850..I told him I was unaware of how much it would be and he offered to take it out and ADVISED me to buy my own part and he will put in the 02 censor free of charge. In doing that service he completely cross threaded the censor onto my converter and he refuses to touch it now because it will break and he doesn’t have anything to do with it because he did it for “free”..I told him u put the part in incorrectly and now it won’t come out he said it wasn’t his problem. I am now being quoted by another shop for 650-1400 because while taking off the censor he put on incorrectly it broke off of where it’s connected and the entire converter may need to be replaced. Monro claimed there was no way to put that piece on incorrectly and I’ve talked to 3 other businesses now who has said he ABSOLUTELY knew when putting the piece on because he didn’t screw it on all the way because IT WAS CROSSTHREADED..this business literally damaged my car and is taking 0 responsibility for it. DO NOT EVER GO TO MONRO MUFFLER ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FEMALE.
