1 starI came into purchase a Tire to replace an old one that tore. The manager that works there by the name of Gustavo T***** or F*****, helped me out. He was able to find a tire in my size and recommended that I get an alignment. Unfortunately, due to a job loss, I was unable to pay for the alignment. After the tire was placed and I was driving home, I noticed a very loud flapping noise that was pretty embarrassing to be quite honest. The following day we contacted the tire shop to let them know the issue, but I also noticed that the vehicle information that was placed on the receipt was completely wrong. So when I told him what was wrong, quickly his whole attitude shifted into a rude one and told me“ I’ve got 2 customers ahead of you waiting for me.” He was about to place me on hold when I told him never mind I’ll just bring it. I brought the car in so that he could hear the noise. He told me that, that noise had nothing to do with tire. I told him that I’ve never had that noise before and he said yeah that doesn’t matter it’s not us. I told him it started when I left your shop and I would just like it to stop. He quickly interrupted me and told me “no no that has nothing to do with your tire that we placed and it doesn’t matter about what information we have on the receipt, sometimes when we put in the license plate number it’ll pull up a different car, I told him that wasn’t even my license plate number, he then proceeded to tell me that it doesn’t matter & has nothing to do with anything, and that they can’t do nothing for me. He was extremely rude and quickly brushed me off because he was in a hurry to go home since it was five minutes before they closed. At this point, I was extremely annoyed and kind of begged for him to fix it, but he refused. I ended up contacting the location in Tustin where a sweet gentleman, Nicholas told me just to bring it into their shop, and he will see if he can try to fix it. 1 starCalled to schedule an oil change this morning for my husband's truck. I told the man I spoke with on the phone that I had a voucher through ******* ******* that I wanted to use that would he would need to get the authorization for so, I wanted to make sure he had the appointment available before I came in. He said yes just bring it with me they were busy at all today, so I could come in any time. When my husband just showed up with the truck there were 3 mechanics there sitting around on stacks on tires doing nothing and told him that they couldn't call to get the authorization for the oil change, so he would have to go somewhere else. They didn't know how to do it. Mind you there were no other vehicles in that they were servicing at the time and the instructing are clearly stated on the paperwork. We have used them previously at a Mr. Tire in Leesburg. This has got to be one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.Review fromRachel T

1 starI got my tires changed there on Nov 26th, my car has been parked in my garage ever since because I went to Florida. I got home this week. This morning I took my car out of my garage and the wheel fell completely off going down the road. This is bs and a safety issue I could have been killed!!! I called them to tell them what they had done. Guy goes you shoulda towed it to me to fix. I do not trust you to fix it since it was not properly fixed the first time!!!! No thank you. 1 starI sewed and won my case won court, yet I have not even received a phone call leave alone a refund. I took my car to Mr. Tire/Monroe in Johnson city Ny on 9/3/2020. They ended up putting the struts on the wrong side three times. They also crashed my car in their parking lot. When I finally got my car home, I couldn’t open the hood and the car made tremendously loud noises with every little bump on the way home. I live less than a mile from the shop. I called them and they wanted to bring my car back a fourth time. I said no and requested a refund again as I was previously told I could be refunded but then the manager, Joseph S*****, begged to fix my car himself. This time I was told to call Monroe for the refund. They basically blew me off. Finally I got the name of Catherine H, at corporate but she didn’t return any of my calls. I had paid mr. Tire $2,740.22 and then finally took my car to ****** ******* and paid another $3,081.54 for them to repair the damages caused by Mr.Tire. They noted the previous garages mistakes on my bill. I took Monroe/Mr.Tire to Johnson City NY court on 8/24/22 and won a settlement of $3,015. I have called Catherine again and left messages, but received no reply nor any portion of my settlement.Review fromEric M

I had my first oil change on my new car done at Mr. Tire in Brick. Went to the dealership for the second oil change and the tech informed me That the oil filter was not changed during the first oil change- the factory installed filter was still on the car. Mr. Tire ripped me off. Furthermore,, the technician at subaru said that the oil looked like it had not been changed. I paid $100 for a full synthetic oil change. This makes me ill.Monro, Inc.

1 starWhatever your service issue is, DO NOT take your car to Monro Auto Service & Tire Centers in Quincy MA.
1 star is too high for this awful place. This business should be shut down immediately. They rip customers off as well as provide awful service to vehicles.
My experience with these thief's below:
I recently went to Monroe Auto Service and Tire Center on Adams Street In Quincy to get new tires and brakes installed on my vehicle ($1200 +). As soon as I drove my car off of the lot, my entire dashboard was lit up with hazard lights (i.e. Anit-lock brakes, blindside detection etc. all not working). I was in a rush to get out of there and I wasn't able to give them a call to address the issue until a few days later.
When I was finally able to bring my car back into Monroe, Anthony tried to claim that I hit something and that's how the issue with my car came to be. Anthony claims they didn't break anything, and will not fix the issue for free. I even made sure to get a second opinion from a different shop who told me that they most likely broke the part, causing those functions of the vehicle to not work, when changing the breaks. I was also told, there is no way something flew up into that area of the car to break that part which goes against the lie the Monroe service member was pushing on me. Now I will have to spend several hundred dollars elsewhere to fix the issue that Monroe caused and is refusing to make right.
This is a classic bad auto shop, ripping customers off. Save your money, time, and energy and find another auto service location.Review fromAmie R.

1 starOrdered tires from **** **** Had them shipped here as they are listed as a **** **** installer. Received shipping email stating tires were delivered. Called Monro who confirmed that they had my tires. Scheduled an appointment for install.
Arrived for said appointment. Was told I did not have an appointment. Attempted to show the email confirmation to the woman (I use that term loosely) at the desk who stated she did not need to see it because she is the only person who answers the phone and she did not have an appointment in her system.
She then said that my tires were not there and attempted to take my vehicle information (I'm assuming she was trying to hustle me by 'selling' me the tires that I already purchased that were in fact at their shop.
I told her I was going to contact the authorities since they were attempting to steal from me.
The woman (again, I use that term loosely) then walked into the shop and threw my tires into their parking lot, while laughing.
One of their greasy employees walked out into the lot, picked up my tires and threw them at me, then "bucked" at me as if he were going to assault me.
The police arrived.
Ended up 500 feet away at *******. They installed them within an hour and were accommodating and friendly.
Do not do business with this trashy shop. Not a good scene.Review fromMax J

Dishonest
I went to the Monroe Muffler store in Winsted for the first time for an oil change. I had a coupon which I had downloaded from their website. The owner refused to honor the coupon saying it was a ‘misprint’. I have used these coupons on many occasions in the past at other Monroe Muffler locations and I have never had an issue. Even if it was a misprint, any business owner with integrity would have honored it because the mistake was done on their part, but not this guy. He flat out refused to honor the coupon. That’s the first and last time I will go there.Monro, Inc.

Took my car in to have the driver side window repaired. They told me I needed an Air Intake Sensor. Total came to over 1000$. Got the car back and now jerks when hitting the gas.
Took the car back and they said it was a bad sensor and they said they replaced it again. No change to the car, still jerks when you hit the gas.
Car is nearly un-drivable now. Jerks when idling. Taking it to reputable mechanic. Stay away from all Monro locations. They will take your money and leave your car much worse than when you dropped it off.Monro, Inc.
