I took my car there on Friday for a click/knock noise when I turned my wheel.
They called me later to tell me it was a pin and needed realigned, and it would be $560 to fix it.
I picked up the car later after it was done, and they said it was fixed. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot...CLICK...same noise I originally brought it in for.
I would have gone right back in, but I had to get my daughter from daycare.
I took it back Tuesday to have them fix it.
They called and said it was a leak in the CV joint, and another $380 would fix it.
I got a call in a few hours, and they said it wasn't fixed and they didn't know what was wrong.
I went to get my car, and they STILL charged me the extra $380.
I stated then that $950 in 2 charges and you STILL didn't fix it?? They didn't care and took my money anyway.
Now I'm $950 in the hole and STILL have to get my car fixed for the SAME reason I originally took it there for.
There is a number displayed to call the District Manager Ryan Martin,
I called multiple times and just get a recording that he isn't available and can't leave a message.
I called corporate office 3 times before I got ahold of someone.
Told them the situation and that I shouldn't have been charged $950 for something that was never fixed.
None of the staff said they "thought" they could fix it. Both times I was told it WOULD fix it.
This hasn't been handled well...I was WAY over charged for NOTHING...and ignored by everyone.
Then, one of my staff went thru the same scenario to fix her issue, to the amount of $1300...and her car isn't fix either...the same week.
Actually hers is even worse after she took it there.
Don't go here,
These guys are totally unprofessional, unfair, and obviously don't know what they are doing.
If they are going to ignore me...then I want you all to hear the BS I went thru...and avoid the same thing happening to you.

On August 13th, I visited Monro for my annual inspection and emissions. I got a phone call from an employee from Monro. They said I needed rear brakes and rotors needed replaced. I said to do it.
On the invoice replacing the brake pads cost a total of $199, including labor. Brake rotors cost $350, including labor. All in; 549.99.
At the beginning of September when driving to get groceries I noticed a very loud clicking sound coming from the rear of my ****. I decided not to take my **** back to Monro, I called a local car repair shop near my home and had my **** at his shop later that week.
After inspecting things, here’s what he found:
The right rear lower caliper bracket bolt was missing. The other bolt was loose.
Monro installed all of my old hardware.
I was missing two shims on the left rear side.
There was plenty on lube on the bolts. No locktite was used.
The rear driver side bolts were loose.
The left rear upper guide pin was dry and no lube was used.
All of the pad shims were not aligned to the pads. Overall, the cost was $251.
On Saturday September 14th I decided to pay a visit Monro on West Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa. I met Manager: Ray. I asked him explain to me what work was done to my **** in August. He stated rear brakes and rotors were replaced, and the **** was inspected and emissions test was done.
I showed Ray the invoice from the other shop. I then pulled out the old pads that showed the misalignment of the shims. I then asked Ray how can we make this “right”. Ray’s comeback was “ if I wouldn’t have waited a month before coming back in”. I let Ray know that I work from home and I rarely drive nowadays. No apology, no responsibility taken; not even a “I’m sorry for your inconvenience. Quite sad….
He said he filed a complaint with corporate. I will be calling them next week. Beware of this place!Monro, Inc.

Honestly this is the most dishonest car mechanic company that I’ve ever dealt with. They told me the problem was I needed new tires, so I got them. That wasn’t the problem. Also I had to get them financed. They couldn’t tell me what my interest rate was or how much my monthly payments were until after they install them: the interest just alone was 3,000 dollars on a 800 dollar purchase. Also I came back and I asked how much would it be to change my front control arms, they told me 700 a piece. I went to the local license mechanics just right down the road. They said they can do both front control arms for 700 total. Mr tire charges way too much even triple the price of their competitors. And they can’t even diagnose right. I don’t know how they are in businessMonro, Inc.

I had an absolutely awful experience at Mr.Tire. Not only did they provide terrible customer service, but they also returned my car in a condition that was downright unsafe to drive.
After replacing a tire, the technicians completely neglected to balance all of my tires, which is basic knowledge when replacing a tire.
On top of that, they didn’t even bother to inform me about a major bend in my rims. This oversight led to severe vibrations while I was driving on the interstate, causing me to lose control and almost crash. It was a terrifying experience that could have ended much worse.
To make matters worse, when I brought these issues to the attention of the manager, they flat-out denied there was any problem when they returned the car to me. No apologies, no accountability, just complete disregard for my concerns.
Adding insult to injury, the technician who replaced the tire caused $300 in damages to my vehicle during the process. Not sure how parts go missing and get cut in half. It’s shocking how careless and unprofessional the staff at this shop are.
If you value your safety and your vehicle, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a car.Monro, Inc.

I went to have air put in my tires and was told to pull into the 3rd dock. Misunderstood what the manager said so when I pulled in one of the mechanics started yelling and swearing at me to move as I tried to back out he kept yelling sheriff was called and because 3 of them were men and I was alone they believed them I have never been spoken to that way in all my 70 yearsMonro, Inc.

On 2 September 24 I went to location at the Festival at Bel Air MD Mr. Tire for a slow leak. The salesman asked for my vehicle make/model and when i told him he said, "Sorry to hear that." The tech showed me the leak on the sidewall saying the tire had to be repaired not replaced. I agreed but the salesman said none were in stock for my vehicle but he could find one. After hanging around for 2 hours, the salesman said he could not find one, but maybe he could find me "a tractor tire since the size was so small." He said he would order one and he'd have it on 3 September. On 3 September I got a call saying my tire was in and they could install after work. When I got there I was told about an hour by a different salesman. An 1½ hour later the salesman tells me the tire never came in, but I needed all 4 tires and he could have them installed 4 September for $411. I will not be a participant in this scam any longer. The most unprofessional service-sales team I ever dealt with. I will encourage all friends and family to avoid all of your facilities.Monro, Inc.

I purchased the most premium option (without being told) and when I got tires and was told that I would get free tire rotations, however every time I go in and ask for a rotation, they say that they did it, but most of the time have not actually performed a rotation I have marked the tires and have proofMonro, Inc.

1 starTerrible customer service. Have had my car in the shop for over a month to replace the engine. Every time I call, there is something else, fuel injection line, crankshaft, battery, catalytic converter wont line up, etc…So many excuses. One time we called for a status update, we were told the only mechanic had fallen and twisted his ankle. They wont return calls. Excuses excuses excuses. Car will be done Friday(insert excuse). Car will be done Saturday (insert excuse) Car will be done Monday guaranteed (insert excuse). Car will definitely be done Wednesday blah blah blah.Review fromShirl E

1 starVery unhappy and frustrated with Mr. Tire in Flanders was lie to and charged for mistakes mechanic made. Zero response after weeks of daily calls and messages.
7/20/24- Car dropped off to check for electric problems? Battery.
Attached you will see bill for 266.56 we agreed to have only the battery installed. We declined 1106.17 to replace extended list of repairs.
7/22/24-Check car for AC issue. Cleste gave estimate fix replace the air conditioning system $900.00 and change.
7/26/24-Dropped off car. Charged 1956.37 We would never agreed to repair on a 2013 ***** ****** with 184,176 miles Joe stated Celeste makes a lot of mistakes and needs to be fired. I don't care about Celeste. Joe said we need to contact an 800 number to get money back etc.
7/27/24- air not working stains in driveway.
7/29/24- returned for air conditioner not working. Mechanic says " You ruined the A/C condenser by running hot air through the unit" Not possible !!Spent 1956.37 this issue needs to be resolved and I will dispute any additional charges. Joe said he would work with us. Another charge of $521.38
Notice bumper isn't flush with the cars fender mechanic stated "car is old it isn't going to be perfect". It is obvious the clips are broke and they refuse to fix.
Very unhappy and angry with all that has taken place. Continue to the 800 number daily and have left many messages in a voice mail to Theresa G******. Spoke once to May who said I can only speak to Theresa. This is extremely frustrating
My cost in total $2512.62. For a quote of 900.00. This is unbelievable, Are there qualified techs working on cars at this center?
